--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

With the music still playing and most people finishing up their food, friends and couples alike were beginning to occupy the dance floor. The atmosphere within the room was light hearted, giving off the kind of effect that would make a person feel as if their woes could just simply drift away. Depending on the kind of music that is playing at that moment, it could either give off a romantic feel or a happy feeling. In a way, if one wasn’t used to this kind of scene, it could be relatively refreshing to witness.

Sitting there, watching those on the dance floor have the time of their lives, Tiffany couldn’t help but fidget in her seat a bit. Every now and then, she would glance over at Young Jae’s plate to see if he was finished, but each and every time she did, it seemed as if Young Jae hadn’t gotten any closer to finishing his food. She was getting rather impatient, but she wasn’t going to be rude and drag Young Jae away from his food! She would wait patiently and hope that there was still enough time for them to have at least one dance.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, Tiffany quickly turned towards Young Jae before she began tugging on his sleeve. Looking down at his sleeve, Young Jae stared at her hand for a brief moment before looking up at her. “Come on, Young Jae! Let’s go dance.” (TF)

“Dance? Bu-“ (YJ)

“Come oooonnn! I’ve been waiting for you to finish your food!” (TF) Young Jae didn’t seem to have much say in the matter as Tiffany got to her feet. Tugging on Young Jae’s arm once more, Tiffany somehow managed to get Young Jae out of his seat before he began to pull him towards the dance floor. Young Jae reluctantly followed, his gaze meeting Daehyun’s once more before he kept his gaze forward to keep from falling over.

Daehyun watched the two as he fought the frown that was trying to make its way onto his face. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun turned forward as he instantly reached for his cup and took a long sip of his drink. Once his drink had been finished, Daehyun let out a satisfied sigh as he set his cup back onto the table. He wiped his mouth with his napkin, his gaze kept towards the ground as he tried to get over his feelings.

Easier said than done, right? He had thought about the possibility of this happening, but… it felt like he had collided into a brick wall by accident. There was just no preparing for it and he just didn’t know how to cope with it. Still, he needed to put on a strong front and try to act as if nothing was affecting him. Maybe, by acting this way, he would be able to get over his feelings. After all… if Young Jae was not only not interested but also engaged, what hope did he have for ever winning Young Jae’s heart over?

“Hey… You alright?” (WH) Daehyun looked to his right to see Woohyun leaning in close so as to talk quietly enough for the three of them to hear. Daehyun merely smiled, although a weak smile, as he nodded in an attempt to convince his friends that he was alright. Though, it seemed like neither Woohyun nor Seohyun were going to believe that smile of his.

“Yeah, of course. Never better.” (DH) Despite the fact that he said that he was fine, it was obvious that he wasn’t. Still, Woohyun decided not to prod. It was better for Daehyun to voice his concerns on his own as opposed to trying to get it out of him. If he kept poking, there was always that possibility that Daehyun would end up retreating further away as opposed to opening up.

“Hm… If you’re fine, then you won’t mind dancing with me. Right?” (SH) Daehyun looked at Seohyun, whom held that small smile on her face. Although he wasn’t exactly in the mood to dance, the thought of it seemed like something that could take things off of his mind. Plus, he did kind of owe Seohyun a dance since she had helped him a bit when he had trouble learning before.

“Alright.” (DH) Getting up from their seats, Daehyun took Seohyun’s hand into his own before he led her towards the dance floor. When they were standing at a good spot, they assumed their position before they began to dance along with the music. Luckily, at the moment, the quintet was playing, so they were playing a sort of waltz type of music for the time being. This gave Daehyun and Seohyun the opportunity to show off their dance abilities.

Gliding along the dance floor, Daehyun did find that their dance was somehow taking his mind off of things. His mood was lifting quite a bit and, well, he was at least enjoying himself. Of course, that was until his gaze landed on Young Jae once more, whom just so happened to be looking at him. Every now and then, they would make eye contact with one another, though Daehyun made certain to keep a strong front as he would just merely smile his way. Of course, Seohyun wasn’t exactly oblivious. When she saw Daehyun smile for probably the fifth time, Seohyun decided to act. “So… how have you and Jongup been?” (SH)

“Hm?” (DH) Daehyun looked back at Seohyun, whom was still holding that usual smile of hers. If he recalled, Seohyun had asked that question earlier, but Daehyun couldn’t exactly remember. Either way, he already knew what Seohyun was trying to do and, well, he was rather grateful to have such a good friend. “Oh, uh… We’ve been good. Jongup’s supposed to finish this year and, uh… I’ve been keeping up with paying for some of his school. How about you?” (DH)

“Oh, same old same old. I’ve been good. School requires a lot of studying and this party has been a good way to help take my mind off of things.” (SH) Seohyun hummed along with the music, her eyes focusing in on Young Jae and Tiffany every now and then. Although she may not seem like it despite the smile she was holding, Seohyun was definitely planning something. She knew how Daehyun’s feelings were towards Young Jae and she wanted to do something that would at least give him some sort of closure. With Young Jae and Tiffany engaged, why not let Daehyun and Young Jae have a chance to talk to one another?

As they danced through two more songs, Tiffany seemed to have enough as she soon went back to the table. The second Seohyun heard what kind of song was starting up, she instantly smiled as she stopped their dance and gave Daehyun’s shoulder a quick tap. “Good Luck!” (SH)

“With wha-“ (DH) Before he could finish his question, Seohyun quickly pushed Daehyun backwards before she quickly ran off towards the table. Daehyun stumbled backwards, trying hard to regain his balance. Just as it seemed like he would succeed, he found himself bumping into someone. Well… it was more like he crashed into them, though luckily, they didn’t end up falling over.

“Ow…! H-Hey… Watch where you’r- Oh… Daehyun.” (YJ) Daehyun froze as his gaze quickly locked on Seohyun and Woohyun, whom both motioned for him to go ahead. Taking in a deep breath as he smiled, Daehyun turned around as he faced Young Jae. He could see Young Jae was currently rubbing his head from when their heads had collided with one another, but at least he understood what Seohyun meant when she had wished him luck.

“Hey… Sorry about that, but uh… Say… Do you think you could honor me with a dance?” (DH) Young Jae’s eyes widened as he stared at Daehyun with surprise. He hadn’t expected Daehyun to ask him for a dance and, well… he didn’t really know how to respond. After all, the song that was currently playing was a waltz-like song. That meant that they’d have to stand relatively close to one another and that also meant that they’d have to be holding each other’s hands.

“I… I don’t know…” (YJ) Daehyun took a moment to think. He couldn’t let this chance slip through his fingers, not after the effort Seohyun spent to get him here. In that instant, some sort of idea came into his head as he smiled a bit.

“If it bothers you, we can just keep enough space between us so that it’s not awkward. I mean, we’ll still be holding each other’s arms and hands, but at least we’re not too close for our bodies to rub, right? At least give me this chance for one dance.” (DH) Young Jae could see the hopeful look in Daehyun’s eyes as he waited for an answer. Young Jae didn’t exactly want anyone to get the wrong impression, considering the fact that they were both males and were about to waltz together, but maybe it would be alright if he granted Daehyun the one dance that he wanted.

“… Alright. I’ll dance with you.” (YJ) Young Jae attempted to keep a calm face as the two assumed their position. With his left hand in Daehyun’s right hand, his right hand on Daehyun’s shoulder and Daehyun’s left hand on his hip, awkwardly enough, the two began to move along with the music.

At first, it felt weird for Young Jae. He had attempted to lead at first, but Daehyun had taken full control. Young Jae hadn’t expected Daehyun to know how to dance and despite being taken by surprise, Young Jae’s body moved along with Daehyun’s guidance. It felt like he was gliding across the dance floor with ease. Daehyun wasn’t moving too fast or too slow, allowing for a comfortable enough pace to draw Young Jae’s attention. “Wooah…! When did you learn how to dance?” (YJ)

“Back in high school, before I moved here.” (DH)

“Really?” (YJ) Daehyun nodded as he gave a small smile. Young Jae had a look of awe on his face, to which Daehyun couldn’t help but quietly chuckle about. It felt like Daehyun could have learned and excelled at practically everything and yet… he was stuck in the state he currently was. “So… What else did you learn?” (YJ)

Daehyun’s smile merely grew as the two continued to dance.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

From a distance, Kyungsoo merely smirked as he leaned against the back wall with his arms folded. It was just so damn fascinating to see Young Jae dancing with another man without a single care in the world. Was he not afraid that their little mother may or may not catch them in the act? Was he not afraid that their little mother may or may not be uncomfortable with the idea that her little boy may or may not be gay? It must be so damn nice to be the younger son. Of course, their father still wouldn’t like the idea of either of their sons being gay regardless of who was here first. Who knows? Maybe their father would even decide to disown Young Jae- Now that was an idea.

With a quiet chuckle, Kyungsoo’s smirk seemed to grow as he continued to watch the duo. He just needed to expose Young Jae’s uality somehow, MAKE him come out and show that he wasn’t what he appeared to be. He had ideas, many ideas, but they didn’t seem to be good enough. Still, he knew that he had to be smart about his decisions. If he was too fast or too slow, then Kyungsoo’s chances may be lost. Though… how was he to initiate his plans…

Looking off to one of the tables, Kyungsoo’s eyes landed on Baekhyun. So, he was here too? Why hadn’t he noticed him earlier? Of course, it didn’t matter. Kyungsoo knew that Baekhyun was too much of a lost puppy to do anything that would draw attention to them. He would act like the good little puppy he is and keep from interacting with him. So, then it shouldn’t be a problem if Kyungsoo ended up hitting on another man, right?

Though… it probably wouldn’t be wise to do it here, not with his mother’s eyes constantly looking around the party floor. As annoying as it was, Kyungsoo needed to draw Daehyun from this place somehow. If he made Young Jae believe that they had done something, then that would crush his little heart. Wait. If he did that though, there was the possibility of Young Jae not admitting to his uality. What should he do then?

There were too many ideas, possibilities, and flaws to these plans. Of course… if Young Jae was there to see how these events were shaped, then maybe, just maybe, there was a possibility that he would act. Kyungsoo just needed to give Young Jae a small… boost. After all, those in love tended to act without thinking, right? He just needed to make sure that Sungjong did exactly as he was told and kept Yongguk occupied. That way, there was less of a chance for Yongguk to interfere.

Well, until his chance arose, he would just have to wait.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. The song that had transported the two into their own world had ended, bringing reality back into play. As a man who tended to keep his word, Daehyun released Young Jae from his grasp as he gave a small smile. “Thank you… for the dance.” (DH)

“Y-Yeah…” (YJ) Although he didn’t want to admit it, Young Jae had hoped that they could have maybe just one more dance. Though, because Daehyun had been able to read the expression on his face, it didn’t seem like his current hopes would be coming true.

Once Daehyun began heading back to the table, Young Jae reluctantly followed after him. Brief moments of hesitation and doubt ran through his head, but Young Jae found a way to push those thoughts aside as he slyly quickened his pace before he successfully managed to walk beside Daehyun. Daehyun looked towards Young Jae out of curiosity, but once Young Jae gave him a smile, Daehyun couldn’t help but smile in response. “You’ll stay my friend, right?” (YJ)

He had to think for a moment, but Daehyun nodded as he held his smile. Being a friend was always better than not being able to be around Young Jae at all. At least this way, he could possibly get used to the idea that him and Young Jae wouldn’t end up together. After all they’ve been through, Daehyun didn’t exactly want to lose Young Jae as a friend also. “Yeah… I will.” (DH)

Sliding into their previous seats, it was evident that both males seemed to look much happier than they had been earlier. However, that happiness was about to be short lived as a certain somebody quickly took the currently vacant spot next to Daehyun. In that instant, Young Jae’s smile disappeared off of his face as he glared at Kyungsoo. “Hey again, Daehyun. As your host, I feel as though I am obligated to make certain that your stay here is as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. Do you currently need anything?” (DO)

“I-“ (DH)

“Want a drink?” (DO) Before Daehyun had any sort of time to respond, Kyungsoo set a glass down in front of Daehyun. It was already filled with a drink of sorts to which, anyone paying attention would already know was alcohol. Daehyun wasn’t necessarily in the mood to drink alcohol anymore, but he considered it rude to deny the first few drinks offered. As he took a hold of the cup, he looked at Kyungsoo and gave a sort of nervous smile, before he began to take a sip of his drink. He would have stopped there, but Kyungsoo had been quick to force Daehyun to continue drinking. “Don’t be shy! Drink more! More!” (DO)

“Are you trying to kill him?! Stop trying to force him to drink, idiot!” (YJ) Kyungsoo merely shot a glare at Young Jae as he pulled his hand away from Daehyun’s glass. Daehyun had quickly set his glass back onto the table as he wiped his mouth with his hand. If he hadn’t managed to catch it in time, the drink most likely would have spilled all over himself. Whether Kyungsoo had intended that or not, Daehyun didn’t know, but he still needed to be careful around him.

“So, how was it? Good, right? I’ll get you some more.” (DO) Before Daehyun could even protest, Kyungsoo had gotten up and quickly made his way over towards the bar. Daehyun let out a sigh as he leaned forward a bit, holding his forehead in the palm of his hands. It was quite frustrating and sooner or later, he may end up losing his patience, but for now, he had to remain calm.

“Are you alright?” (TF) Daehyun looked up to see a worried look on Tiffany’s face. He merely smiled and gave a quick nod in an attempt to ease everyone at the table. It would be easier to just ignore Kyungsoo’s actions, but of course, it was easier said than done.

“Should we do something about him…? I don’t know how tolerant your alcohol levels are…” (SH) That was true. Daehyun didn’t have too high of a tolerance for alcohol, but it was high enough for him to down a few drinks. However, judging by the last drink he just had, it was quite a strong drink to the point that he was already feeling a bit buzzed. One, maybe two more drinks, before Daehyun would end up getting drunk again. Still… he didn’t want to cause a scene of sorts.

“Let’s just wait and see, alright?” (DH) Although they weren’t exactly okay with Daehyun’s plan, they decided to go with it. Young Jae would have strongly objected to it, but Kyungsoo had already arrived with the next drink. Kyungsoo was all smiles as he presented the drink to Daehyun, whom currently had a sort of nervous smile on his face. “I, uh… I don’t think I need anymore.” (DH)

“Oh, go on! Don’t be shy! A little drink won’t hurt, right?” (DO) Despite Kyungsoo’s innocent looking smile, Daehyun already knew that Kyungsoo wasn’t exactly the most innocent person in the world. Looking back down at the drink, Daehyun cleared his throat a bit before picking it up. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun took his time to drink the concoction that he had been given.

Sadly, the alcohol was much stronger than what he had been drinking when he first arrived, so it was hitting him a lot harder. Even if he attempted to put the cup back down to let himself take a break of sorts, Kyungsoo would merely raise it back up for him to drink more. Finishing the drink, Daehyun finally set the cup down, but not without its consequences. “See? It was good, right?” (DO)

Daehyun merely hummed in response as he tried to keep the alcohol from kicking in too quickly. He knew that in a couple of minutes, he was probably going to end up drunk and that was a feeling that he didn’t want to experience… again. This time though, instead of letting Kyungsoo get up to get yet another drink, Woohyun decided to speak up. “Why don’t you lay off and leave him alone? If he wanted to drink, he would ask for it.” (WH)

Kyungsoo shot Woohyun a glare as he stopped himself from getting up once more. Who the hell was this guy anyway and why did he feel the need to interfere where he wasn’t related to the situation whatsoever?! He wanted to tell this guy to go himself, but he needed to keep a ‘good boy’ image while in front of Daehyun. Well… at least until he was able to pull Daehyun into his bedroom. Then that image will disappear in less than a heartbeat. “If he… didn’t want anymore, then he would say so. Right Daehyun?” (DO)

Before Daehyun even had a chance to piece together what they were arguing about, Young Jae quickly intervened. Well… it was more like he joined Woohyun’s side, but he stepped in regardless of the situation.  “Just leave already! It’s obvious that you’re doing this just to get into his pants.” (YJ)

This was at least one moment where he can possibly expose Young Jae for what he really wants. With a sly smirk, Kyungsoo leaned in a little closer to the table as he slightly tilted his head to the right. “Oh? Why so angry? Is it possible that our little Jae-Jae realizes that he wants a man on top of him?” (DO)

How was he supposed to respond to that? His face was turning red from the thought of it, but he had to remain calm. He needed to come up with something to say back to Kyungsoo so that it refocuses on him. “Tch… Says the man whose trying to get Daehyun on top of him through sleazy tactics.” (YJ)

Kyungsoo raised a single brow as he kept his smirk on his face. That wasn’t exactly a denial to his claim, but it wasn’t enough to prove anything either. Still, it felt like he was one step closer to his victory. “Now what made you come to a conclusion like that? I was just merely… trying to be a gracious host by offering him a few drinks. I don’t see you offering him anything.” (DO)

“I’d rather not offer him anything as opposed to giving him alcohol poisoning. You do realize it’ll be your responsibility if he has to go to the hospital, right?” (YJ) Not that Young Jae would trust Kyungsoo with Daehyun’s healthy anyway. He already knew that Kyungsoo could care less about Daehyun’s health and with how much money Kyungsoo already makes at work, the hospital bill would feel like nothing to Kyungsoo.

“I… will be right back.” (DH) Daehyun shot up to his feet, only to stumble a bit. If it hadn’t been for Seohyun, Daehyun probably would have fallen over in the process. With a small smile, Daehyun patted Seohyun’s head before he began staggering his way towards the bathroom. Kyungsoo quickly jumped to his feet as he pulled out his wallet. As he followed after Daehyun, he quickly checked the contents within before a grin spread across his face. Almost instantly, Young Jae knew what Kyungsoo’s motives were. After all, the only thing he would ever actually check for was either for his cards, his money, or a and it was obvious which one he was checking for this time.

Young Jae was not about to let Kyungsoo get away with it.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The sound of the running water seemed to be exactly what Daehyun needed to hear right now. It had a sort of calming effect for him and he greatly appreciated this opportunity to get away from it. He probably should have objected stronger in order to prevent all of this drama to unfold. Seeing and hearing everyone getting angry and arguing with one another is something he could have prevented. Still, right now, he wasn’t exactly in the best state of mind.

Looking up at the mirror, he stared at his reflection.

Daehyun would have washed his face, but each time he looked into the mirror, he was reminded of the make up that he was currently wearing. Well… maybe it would be best to wash the make up off. He needed a refresher of sorts, but… how does one wash make up off? He was just going to look it up when he got home, but he felt like now would be the best time to do it.

Well, maybe he could ask Seohyun about it. Until then, he just needed to make sure that he never drank ever again. Alcohol had a pretty bad taste to it and it was bound to get him into trouble sooner or later. Letting out a small sigh, Daehyun moved finished up in the bathroom before making his way out.

The second he stepped out, his eyes landed on Kyungsoo, whom was currently leaning against the opposite wall with his arms folded. Judging by that smirk on his face, though this was already obvious by the amount of alcohol he had been offered earlier, it was quite evident that Kyungsoo wanted something. “Isn’t there something that you want? Something that only that special someone can give you?” (DO)

“What…?” (DH) Why was Kyungsoo asking him this all of a sudden? Of course, it seemed like he was going to be getting his answer as Kyungsoo pushed himself off of the wall and made his way over to Daehyun. Putting his hands into his pockets, Kyungsoo held that smirk of his as he leaned on one leg and tilted his head to the side.

“You wanna be happy, right? You want to be the happiest person in the world, right?” (DO) Daehyun didn’t really get where Kyungsoo was going with this, but he merely stayed quiet as he decided to listen to whatever else Kyungsoo had to say. Though, just to let the conversation continue, Daehyun slightly nodded his head more out of curiosity than anything. “It’s understandable. It’s human nature to want to be happy, right?” (DO)

Kyungsoo chuckled as he moved over to Daehyun’s side before putting an arm around Daehyun’s shoulders. More out of curiosity and confusion, Daehyun began walking when Kyungsoo had begun walking. Although he didn’t notice it, Kyungsoo was leading Daehyun farther away from the main room. “I can show you how to be happy. I can make you extra… happy.” (DO)

“What do you have planned…?” (DH) Kyungsoo tilted his head a bit as he looked at Daehyun with that smirk of his.

“I’ll show you.” (DO) Considering where they were, Daehyun had to stay on guard. Despite the fact that he was curious about what this sort of ‘happiness’ Kyungsoo had in store, that didn’t mean that he was going to go in like a fool.

Unknown to the two, there were two other people following close behind. They made certain to duck behind corners and into bedrooms to stay hidden, but they never let Daehyun or Kyungsoo leave their sights.

Peaking their heads from behind on doorway, Young Jae narrowed his eyelids as he tightened his grip on the wooden frame. Daehyun wouldn’t willingly fall into Kyungsoo’s evil clutches, right? It was just because Daehyun was drunk that he was following Kyungsoo… right? “Kyungsoo better not do anything to Daehyun…” (YJ)

“We’ll stop him before he does.” (WH) With a nod, both men quickly stepped back out into the hallway before following after the two once more. Young Jae was determined to get Daehyun as far away from Kyungsoo as possible. Just as Daehyun had saved him from Sungjong, Young Jae wanted to do the same for Daehyun.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the music played and the people continued moving between dancing and resting, two men were currently sitting next to one another in silence. They had spoken to one another earlier, but since then, not a single word has escaped their lips. While one was waiting for the other to say something, that person was having difficulty gathering up the courage and words necessary to break the awkward air between them. It was only a matter of time before either the silence was broken or the party came to an end and luckily, it was the former of the two options.

“So… how have you been?” (BY)

“Good. And you?” (HC)

“Good…” (BY) Sadly, that seemed to be the extent to their conversation as the silence once again filled the space between them. Yongguk didn’t understand why he was having such difficulties trying to come up with something to say. Of course, he was a naturally quiet person to begin with. He was always in the background, keeping to himself while watching over Young Jae. Could he help that he couldn’t come up with any sort of icebreakers?

“Are you seeing anyone?” (HC) It seemed as though Himchan had lost any patience he had as he came right up and asked the question that either one of them had been hoping to ask. Yongguk looked at Himchan, though Himchan was still staring forward, watching the dancers before them.

“No. Are you?” (BY)

“No.” (HC) Yongguk turned his head forward as he watched the dancers once more. Should he just ask him right then and there? If he didn’t do it sooner or later, it would only end up becoming awkward once more before his chance would be lost. It was either now or never. Taking in a deep, yet quiet breath, Yongguk turned to Himchan.

“Hey… I was wondering if you’d, yanno… like to go on a da-” (BY)

“Hey stiffies! It’s time for my to work my magic on you. Gukkie-kins~ Let’s get going! You’ll just be begging me for more later.” (SJ) Yongguk silently cursed the second Sungjong interrupted his sentence. He would have beaten up Sungjong right then and there, but that would only cause a commotion. Despite his attempts to ignore and decline Sungjong, Sungjong had managed to pull Yongguk onto his feet before he began pulling him towards the dance floor.

Before Yongguk had been completely dragged away though, Himchan had gotten to his feet before making his way over to Yongguk. Matching his movements so that Sungjong didn’t notice what was going on, Himchan leaned in as he whispered into Yongguk’s ear. “I’d love to go on a date with you…” (HC)

The second he got his sentence through, Himchan stopped walking as he grinned while waving. Yongguk stared at Himchan, a look of surprise and content on his face before an embarrassed grin graced his lips. He hadn’t expected it to be that easy and, well, he was glad that he had gotten it over with. Now… all that was left was to get rid of the annoying leech that was currently pulling him away.

Once on the dance floor, Yongguk stood in place with his arms folded while Sungjong was dancing in a rather provocative way. Legs spread, hips moved all over the place, and a lot of crotch ing, Sungjong was practically having the time of his life with little to no care of what anyone else may have thought of him. It was only when Sungjong had begun to take off his shirt was when Yongguk quickly reached and pulled Sungjong’s shirt down to keep it on him. Sungjong smirked, a single brow raised as he turned his head to look at Yongguk over his shoulder. “Ooo~… You a shy one?” (SJ)

“No. You’re just irrational. Keep your clothes on or get out.” (BY) Sungjong scoffed as he moved his hands away from his shirt.

“Fine, fine. I’ll be a good little boy and follow what daddy says.” (SJ) Yongguk shivered from the words spoken and it wasn’t the good kind of shiver. It disgusted him whenever people used that kind of wording. It made him think of a son and a father and with the way Sungjong spoke mixed in with the way he moved and dressed, it wasn’t exactly the most innocent image to have.

Turning around, Sungjong quickly wrapped his leg around Yongguk’s waist, pressing their crotches up against one another as he leaned in close and wrapped his arms around Yongguk’s head. His lips were mere inches away from Yongguk’s as he attempted to give a seductive smirk, though Yongguk didn’t seem to be all that phased by it at all. “Come back and work for me, Yongguk… Think of all the pleasure I could give you. Just the feel of my warm, wet tongue and my warm mouth on you-” (SJ)

“No. You’re a prick.” (BY) Without any warning, Yongguk shoved Sungjong away, causing Sungjong to land roughly on the ground. Yongguk smoothed out his clothes before folding his arms and looking uninterested once more. Sungjong chuckled a bit out of amusement, but also out of annoyance, as he slowly got to his feet before dusting himself off.

“That’s what I like about you, Yongguk. You play hard to get and you’re very manly. I’ll ask nicely one. Last. Time. Come back and work for me and I’ll make it worth your while.” (SJ) Yongguk scoffed before shaking his head in a disapproving way.

“Go yourself.” (BY) Just as Yongguk began walking back to Himchan, Sungjong chuckled once more.

“Well, if you feel that way… then I’ll have to play with little Zelo.” (SJ) Yongguk instantly stopped in his tracks as his hands slowly balled into fists. Taking in a deep breath to keep himself calm, Yongguk slowly turned back around to see a smug looking Sungjong.

“Explain.” (BY)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“All my plans are just in here.” (DO) Kyungsoo moved his arm from Daehyun’s shoulders as he moved to open the door. Pushing it wide open, Kyungsoo smiled with satisfaction as he stepped into the room first. Daehyun was about to follow after him, but two pairs of hands had quickly grabbed hold of Daehyun’s arm before pulling him away.

Once Kyungsoo had stepped out of the way of the doorway, Kyungsoo turned around and had just begun to motion for Daehyun to enter, but noticed that he was no longer there. Furrowing his eyebrows, Kyungsoo stepped back outside and looked down either side of the hallway, but he couldn’t find his target anywhere. “Dammit… Where the hell did he go?” (DO)

Slowing to a stop the second they were at a safe area, Young Jae let out a relieved sigh before he quickly wrapped his arms around the back of Daehyun’s neck. Daehyun’s eyes widened with surprise and he looked at Woohyun for answers, but Woohyun merely shrugged as he held a confused look.

When it was evident that Young Jae wasn’t going to be letting go just yet, Daehyun wrapped his arms around Young Jae’s waist, smiling a bit as he rested his head against Young Jae’s. It was rather nice to hold Young Jae like this, but he couldn’t think too much about it. After all, Young Jae was just a worried friend and may have decided to hug him merely because he was relieved.

However, the second Young Jae finally realized what they were doing, Young Jae quickly pulled away. His eyes were wide and his face was completely red, but he tried to recompose himself as he straightened out his clothes and cleared his throat. “S-Sorry… I don’t know what came over me. Anyway, don’t trust Kyungsoo ever! He’s just a bastard that wants to get you into his bed. The second he gets his way, he’ll throw you away when he’s done with you, so don’t fall into his trap! Okay? Promise me!” (YJ)

Young Jae held his pinky out, waiting for Daehyun to create a pinky promise with him. However… it was relatively difficult for Daehyun to create a new pinky promise with Young Jae. After the events that unfolded today, it felt almost empty to create any more promises. Still… he couldn’t bring himself to deny Young Jae. With a weak smile, Daehyun raised his pinky and wrapped it around Young Jae’s before they sealed the promise with their thumbs. “Alright… I promise I won’t fall into Kyungsoo’s traps.” (DH)

Young Jae’s face instantly softened as a smile graced his lips. He looked relieved and it seemed to bring a sort of happiness to Daehyun’s heart. “Well… let’s head back now before we’re missed.” (DH)

“Okay.” (YJ)

Chapter 48: I swear this is like one of the best fanfic I have ever read. The childhood part was really interesting and nicely done, I wish you would detail some scenes but that's okay. And now... I don't know where you are going with this but I feel so excited. I am sad for Jin though because for the first time, he found someone important and yet, he lost it. That's so cruel you know. R. I. P Taehyung ~ ;-; Kyungsoo is a freaking bastard, hope he would end up in prison. Seungjong too! Feels like you are plotting something with him haha! Especially since he didn't get his revenge. Damn.... Daehyun will get to suffer again. X) about DaeJae, I love how slow you are making it. That's frustrating and sweet at the same time. And BangHim gosh, I want them to be together officially. But each time something interrupt them. X) is their couple going to be part of your plot or is it not that important? That's funny because I thought from the childhood that Himchan would have ended up with Sunny ~ By the way, that's been a long time we haven't seen her, is she going to make a cameo haha?
I also found it funny how Zelo and Jongup didn't like each other and how dependant Junhong seems to be towards Jongup when they both grew up haha! I actually laughed a lot when they bickered back then and now Junhong likes his hyung haha! Funny ~ Anyway I'm just going to end this review because I spent the last four nights reading these 48 chapters, I feel like I'm not making any sense anymore haha! Well, fighting for the next chapter, I am kind of excited to read it now! Fighting!!!!
