--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There was always the belief that everything happened for a reason. Whether that was true or not though, no one could necessarily say for sure. After all, anything could end up happening, whether it was completely random and by chance or if it had been guided by someone else, a reason isn’t always necessary present.

But this chance was finally open.

Daehyun couldn’t help but feel like fate had finally drawn him and Young Jae back together. Sure, Young Jae had changed quite a bit, everyone did as they aged, but it just felt like this was his chance to win Young Jae over. He just needed to somehow figure out whether or not the choices he made would eventually effect their relationship in a positive way. That meant that he needed to be as careful as possible around Young Jae while still pushing forward. After all, he didn’t want to end up scaring Young Jae away and ruining his chances of ever ending up with Young Jae.

So, he was nervous. It was rare for Daehyun to be nervous, but he was certain that today would be the day that he finally confessed his feelings to Young Jae. Wait. Hadn't he already confessed his feelings though? He couldn’t really remember, but he could have indirectly confessed when he brought up their promises. Either way, he wanted to do it officially and without beating around the bush.

Still.. it was something that he wasn’t used to doing. No one else has made his stomach feel aflutter. No one else made him constantly think about them, almost to the point that he’d go mad if he was away from him for too long. No one else.. seemed to have any sort of effect on him and yet, he knew that if things didn’t go the way he wanted it to, he would have to learn to move on. Until that happened, he would just keep his hopes up.

At the moment, Daehyun was cooking breakfast, his thoughts currently occupying his mind. Today was the day that he finally got to see Young Jae’s home and meet his parents, so it was quite nerve racking. Sure, they weren’t dating or anything, but he did have to make a good first impression on Young Jae’s parents. Maybe that way, it would impress Young Jae a bit and have him fall even a little bit for him.

His thoughts, of course, would soon be interrupted, as a sleepy Jongup slowly shuffled into the room. Jongup rubbed his sleep filled eyes, a yawn escaping his lips as he listened to the sound of cooking. It was always nice to hear and smell something delicious being created, but something just seemed to cross his mind as he looked up at Daehyun. With the temptation of sleep still taking up residence in Jongup, he shuffled up to the island as he sat down at one of the stools. “How can you wake up so early everyday...?” (JU)

Upon hearing Jongup’s voice, Daehyun pulled himself away from his thoughts as he focused in on Jongup. It took him a moment, but once he figured out what Jongup just said, Daehyun grinned as he quickly went back to his cooking. “How? Because I have to be responsible and get things done. You should try it sometimes.” (DH)

Jongup furrowed his eyebrows and stared for a moment as he tried to think. His sleep-filled mind wasn’t exactly working as much as he had hoped, so Jongup couldn’t tell what Daehyun was telling him to try. “Try what?” (JU)

“Getting some responsibility.” (DH) Daehyun quietly chuckled to himself as Jongup tried to think. When it finally clicked, Jongup was about to say something, but Daehyun turned the stove off before putting the eggs that he had just finished cooking with the rest of it. “Breakfast is done! Eat now so that you’re super hungry when we go to the party later.” (DH)

“Party?” (JU) Although he had spoken in a tone that only he could have heard, Jongup continued to watch Daehyun setting their food up on the island counter, expecting an answer of some sorts. When it was evident that he wasn’t going to be getting an answer any time soon, Jongup took a moment to think before the answer sparked in his head. “Party! Are you excited for the party?” (JU)

“Excited?” (DH) Daehyun set the last dish down before placing the palms of his hands on the edge of the counter and leaning forward a bit. One could say that he was excited, but he was also nervous. Taking in a deep breath, Daehyun let out a quiet chuckle as he made his way over to the fridge. “Yeah... You could say that.” (DH)

“Are you getting juice? I wan-” (JU)

“Orange juice, right?” (DH) Daehyun briefly turned around to see Jongup nod as he began getting whatever food interested him. Opening up the fridge, Daehyun looked around for a moment before grabbing the gallon of orange juice. He could have gotten a different kind of juice for himself, but orange juice would do just fine.

As Daehyun began to make his way back to the island counter, Jongup had already begun eating as he looked up at Daehyun. With a large smile, Jongup quickly took the gallon of orange juice into his hands before he opened it up and began to pour it into his cup. As Daehyun sat down, Jongup briefly glanced over at Daehyun. “When are we leaving?” (JU)

“About.. two hours before we have to. That way, we can pick up Jongin and still arrive early.” (DH) Jongup never did understand why Daehyun liked to show up early to, well, everything. It wasn’t a meeting or anything, but Daehyun did always say that it was more polite to show up early or on time as opposed to showing up late. Did it matter though? If they were friends with them, then they shouldn’t care if they showed up late! But, that can wait. For now, breakfast was calling to him and it was just as good as it usually is.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Daehyun let out a small sigh as he put his truck into park before switching his truck off. Did it make sense that he was buying groceries when they weren’t even going to be home later tonight? Well, it would be best to get it out of the way now as opposed to waiting until the next day to restock what they were currently missing. Plus, at least this way, he could make certain that Jin was going to be coming over to their house for the car pool as opposed to being picked up at his house.

Stepping out of the car, Daehyun took in a deep breath before letting out a long sigh. His nervousness had died down a bit since he’s had breakfast, but he couldn’t help but continue to feel nervous. He just.. needed to be himself. That’s all it had to take for him to get over this nervous feeling that continued to hold onto him. Though... it wasn’t as easy as he made it sound like. There was just something that made him feel as if he needed to act a certain way. What that something was, however, well.. it was rather obvious what it was.

Making certain that the car was locked, Daehyun pocketed his keys before he made his way into the grocery store. Picking up one of the nearby baskets that were normally placed by the front entrance, he looked around for a moment before he made his way towards the closest item on his list. Just as he stopped in front of one of the items that he needed, a random hand came swiping across his vision, causing him to look towards the person whom was now next to him. “Hey, Daehyun! Shopping for groceries?” (JI)

“Yeah. You’re working today? I thought you had today off.” (DH) Jin folded his arms as he nearly leaned against the racks. However, before he could do so, Daehyun had quickly put a hand to Jin’s arm before pulling him away from the rack. “Don’t do that.” (DH)

“Sorry. Anyway! I did have today off, but I got called in because the day staff took off today. It’s quite unfair, buuut.. I’m okay with it.” (JI) Jin nodded in approval as he soon ended up leaning against Daehyun instead. Daehyun smiled a bit as he shook his head, but he didn’t say anything about it. “By the way.. What are we supposed to wear to this party? Are there going to be any cute people there?” (JI)

This instantly caught Daehyun’s attention as he looked at Jin. He didn’t necessarily see Jin as the player type and if he recalled, Jin had a boyfriend. “Well.. something casual, but a bit formal and wait.. Don’t you have a boyfriend? Why are you asking if there’s any cute people there?” (DH)

Jin froze a bit as his eyes widened. How was he supposed to get out of this? He forgot that he normally faked his relationship just to seem cooler around everyone else. Of course.. he could have faked having a girlfriend too since people were more accepting of that, but that didn’t necessarily matter now. Maybe.. he could just tell Daehyun the truth. That would be a good way to get out of this, right? “Well, uh.. you see..” (JI)

Moving away from Daehyun, Jin cleared his throat as he rubbed the back of his head. Telling the truth was most definitely harder than it seemed, but maybe he could figure something else out. “Uh.. I.. broke up with him, or.. uh.. he broke up with me. So.. I’m just looking for someone else to move on! Yeah.. That’s what people do to get over a break up or rejection, right?” (JI)

“Yeeeah... I guess that’s what they do. There could be cute people there, but I wouldn’t know.” (DH) Picking up a few cans of tomato sauce, Daehyun turned and began walking towards the next item on his list. After all, he didn’t want to distract Jin from what he was supposed to be doing, which seemed to be restocking the shelves. Sadly, his plan didn’t seem to go as he had hoped as Jin quickly followed after him.

“Hey! Are you gonna woo Young Jae off of his feet? You’re going to bring him to bed and rock the bed all night, right? Since the party is at his house, it makes sense for you to rock his bed all night, right? Right?!” (JI)  Despite his cheeks turning red just by thinking about doing such things, Daehyun tried to keep a calm face. Seeing just how excited Jin was getting about the idea, Daehyun had to make certain to keep him calm, otherwise he may get more ideas.

“I.. don’t know what you’re talking about.” (DH) Jin grinned a bit as he quickened his pace a bit until he was in front of Daehyun now. Coming to a stop and causing Daehyun to stop as well, Jin folded his arms a bit as he leaned forward slightly.

“I can see it on your face, Daehyun! You’re blushing! You were thinking about it, weren’t you? Come on, you can tell me! I can even help you get to that stage!” (JI) Jin would have continued asking Daehyun about his plans, but the second they heard the back door open, Jin’s eyes widened as he looked over towards it. Once his eyes spotted their manager close the door behind him, Jin quickly rushed off to wherever he was supposed to be at that very moment.

Letting out a small sigh of relief, Daehyun rubbed the back of his neck as he continued on with his shopping. Once he had everything on his list, then Daehyun could at least figure out what he would wear for the party. There could be a possibility that how he looked could draw Young Jae in a bit more. As that thought crossed his mind, Daehyun came to a stop as he looked at the make up on the shelves. If he recalled, Young Jae tended to wear a bit of make up, though not too much of it. If Young Jae wore light make up to make himself look better, would it be wise to try it out himself?

Maybe he should give it a try after all.

Pursing his lips, Daehyun looked through the products that were on display. He really did not know how make up worked, but he wanted to give it some sort of try. Taking whatever seemed like the best things to use, Daehyun let out a sigh as he rubbed the back of his head. If he had known anyone that could show up at a moment’s notice to give him make up advice, he would ask them about it, but he didn’t know anyone at the moment. At least he could look up make tutorials and what not and if the make up wasn’t the one he needed, then he could just come back and return it.

Looking up, his eyes landed on a large basket that seemed to have quite a number of bouquets for sale. There were a number of different bouquets, so the colors seemed to clash with one another, but it also drew a person’s attention. Making his way over to the bouquet basket, Daehyun carefully looked through the bouquets before spotting a familiar kind of flower. Picking up the bouquet, Daehyun took a moment to think.

Would it be a good thing to bring a bouquet..?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Finishing up the last of what the tutorial told him to do, Daehyun closed the small tube before setting it down onto the counter. It took him quite a while to follow the various tutorials, especially since this was his first time using make up or doing his hair, but the time and effort spent had to be worth it all. Looking at himself in the mirror, Daehyun slowly turned his head from side to side as he examined himself.

He was wearing a black graphic tee with a red blazer over it. Along with his black leather pants, which he rarely ever wore for some reason, he quite liked how the outfit looked. He tilted his head downward a bit, looking at his hair. Although he liked how it was styled, he kind of wished that his hair was a different color. As nice as pink has been on him, Daehyun felt like a different color would have been better on him with this outfit. Still, he quite liked how he looked regardless. Even his make up made him look better, to which Daehyun was quite surprised about. Since it was his first time putting make up on, Daehyun hadn’t been certain about how things would have gone.

Once he approved of how he looked, Daehyun looked over at the bouquet of flowers that he had placed into a vase of water. Taking a few steps closer to it, he placed a single hand on his waist as he rubbed the back of his neck. The flowers were pretty and all, but would Young Jae like them? Daehyun couldn’t exactly remember what kind of flower Young Jae had given him, but these flowers did look just like the flowers that Young Jae had given him back when they were kids. It was a nice notion and all, but Daehyun wasn’t certain if Young Jae even liked flowers anymore.

Still, that didn’t mean that he couldn’t at least try. Maybe it would stir up some memories and maybe then, Young Jae could end up falling for him a little more. If he could find anything that would get him a step closer to possibly ending up with Young Jae, then Daehyun was determined to take it... as long as it wasn’t anything bad, of course.

Picking up the bouquet of flowers, Daehyun smiled slightly as he adjusted the flowers a bit. It may have been redundant or cliche to bring a bouquet of flowers, but Daehyun thought that it was still romantic in a way. Was Young Jae into romantic things? He wished he knew more about Young Jae, but it was better to find out about these things as opposed to already knowing. It made relationships feel more worth the work to keep it together.

Once he felt okay with how the bouquet looked, Daehyun took one last glance at himself in the mirror. With a few minor adjustments to his hair, Daehyun smiled a bit before he turned around and made his way out of the bathroom.

Making his way out of his bedroom and into the hallway, Daehyun took in a deep breath as he made his way towards the living room. How would the others react to his transformation? Would it be a positive reaction or a negative one? He really hoped that he ended up receiving a positive response from his new looks though..

Pausing at the end of the hallway, he peeked his head out into the main room before looking around the living room. He could see Jongup currently sitting on the couch while texting on his phone. From what he could see, Jongup was wearing a gray cardigan over a white, v-neck t-shirt as well as black skinny jeans. Daehyun felt a bit over dressed now, but he still couldn’t help but grin a bit before stepping out into the main room. Clearing his throat, Daehyun slightly raised his arms a bit as Jongup turned to look up at him. In that instant, Jongup’s eyes widened as his mouth hung agape, complete surprise taking over as he stared at Daehyun. Whether it was a good thing or a bad one, Daehyun would just have to wait as he held his grin. “So? What do you think?” (DH)

“Wha... What?! I.. big brother! You look so different!” (JU) Jongup set his phone onto the couch as he slowly got to his feet. He hunched his shoulders as he moved closer to Daehyun, checking to make sure that it was really him. When he was finally close enough, Jongup stood up straight as he narrowed his eyelids and began to circle around Daehyun. Looking the older male up and down, Jongup couldn’t help but feel in awe at the person in front of him.

Stopping in front of Daehyun, Jongup leaned in a little closer as he closely examined Daehyun’s face. A small gasp escaped his lips as he leaned back a bit before pointing at Daehyun with a surprised look on both of their faces. “You’re wearing make up! Why are you wearing make up?! You're.. even wearing contacts!” (JU)

“What? Does it look bad?” (DH) Daehyun chuckled a bit as he rubbed the back of his head. He knew Jongup would have been surprised by this. After all, Daehyun was the type whom normally didn’t care too much about what he wore or how he looked like. As long as he was comfortable, then it didn’t really matter to him too much.

“N-No..! You look really hot!” (JU) In that instant, Jongup’s face reddened as he quickly turned around and rushed over to his phone. The amount of awkwardness he felt was high, especially since he’s not once ever thought about Daehyun in that sort of way. Clearing his throat while keeping his back towards Daehyun, Jongup rubbed the back of his head as he tried to think of what to say in order to fix things. “I-I mean.. You look really good with that on.” (JU)

“I understood. Thanks.” (DH) Daehyun made his way over to Jongup before patting Jongup’s shoulder a bit. Before anything else could be said, the buzzer sounded, quickly pulling their attention. With a grin, Daehyun quickly jogged over to the intercom before pressing the button. “Jung and Moon residence! Who is it?” (DH)

“DAEHYUN! WE’RE HERE!” (JI)

“Hold on a sec. We’re heading out now.” (DH) Daehyun and Jongup quickly gathered what they needed and slipped their shoes on before heading outside. The second Daehyun had emerged from the apartment, both Jin and Baekhyun stared at Daehyun with surprise before Jin quickly pointed at Daehyun.

“Wooooow! You went all out to impress Young Jae! A new look, great outfit, and even flowers?! There’s no way you even need our help now!” (JI) Jin gave a thumbs up as he grinned. Daehyun chuckled a bit as he rubbed the back of his head, his cheeks reddening a bit from Jin’s comment. He really hadn’t expected this kind of reaction, but so far, things were looking bright for him.

“Thanks.. But I still have to work hard to win him over. So, uh.. ready to go?” (DH) Daehyun looked around at everyone and when they all nodded, the four of them began walking down the hallway. All they had to do was go pick up Jongin and then they could make their way to Young Jae’s house.

Hopefully, things went as he hoped it would.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Driving along the road, everyone in the car couldn’t help but look out in awe. These houses didn’t exactly look like normal houses that everyday people would have. Yes, they were very nice and modern looking, but these houses were still fairly big and most likely very expensive. Of course, this neighborhood was more known for their money and status, so.. it was a huge surprise that the address that they were heading to ended up leading here.

This bit of information, however, was what brought about a bit more nervousness than usual for Daehyun. Wouldn’t that mean that his parents were rich? Would his parents even accept the possibility of Young Jae dating a man? This really did make things much more difficult than it should have been, but.. Daehyun had to keep trying. There was always that slim possibility that things would turn out okay.

Pulling up to the address listed on the invitation, Daehyun attempted to swallow the lump in his throat as they reached the gate. They even had a gate large enough to keep trucks out. Was this alarm enough to tell him that he shouldn’t even try winning Young Jae’s heart over or.. was this simply a hurdle that he had to get over.

Coming to a stop at the gate, Daehyun lowered his window as he looked at the security guard inside his mini building. The security guard stepped out of the small office before making his way over to the car. “Hello. We’re here for the reunion? I have an invitatio-” (DH)

“Mister Jung, I presume? Master Yoo has requested that you be let in without being checked. Please proceed on through.” Daehyun nodded, though he was a bit confused as to how the guard knew that he was the one that Young Jae was talking about. He didn’t recall taking any sort of pictures or videos with Young Jae, so there shouldn’t have been any sort of image for the guard to use as a reference. Well, either way, at least it made things easier.

As the gate opened up, Daehyun waited until it was wide enough before he began to drive forward. Everyone looked around, taking in as much as possible as they pointed out every little thing that caught their attention. Since none of them were really exposed to stuff like this often, might as well try to get everything engraved into their memories while they had the chance. “Wooow.. They even have a fountain! How rich is Young Jae anyway?” (JI)

“I don’t know.. He never told me he was rich.” (DH)

Coming to a stop in front of the house, Daehyun shut his car off before everyone filed out of the car. With the car doors closed behind them, each of them walked slowly towards the house as they continued to examine their surroundings. “Jeez... this house is so big! What do they even use these rooms for?” (JI)

“Maybe each one has a different theme for role play.” (BH)

“Role play?” (JU) Baekhyun grinned as he put an arm around Jongup’s shoulders.

“Of course! With a mansion like this, imagine all the erse things the owners or even the servants could get away with! Think about it. The rich guy always has some sort of human toy to play with! That’s probably what it is. Imagine, a person to have with in each and every room! Not a single one of them similar. Isn’t that amazing?!” (BH) Obviously, Baekhyun was just joking around, but Jongup was actually taking him seriously and.. well, imagining the possibilities. The more erse his imagination got, the more his face reddened. In that instant, Baekhyun quickly pinched Jongup’s cheek before laughing a bit. “Are you actually thinking about it? Look how red you are!” (BH)

“C-Come on, Baekhyun! I get it!” (JU) Jongup could hear the snickering escaping from the others, only further increasing his embarrassment. Could he help it though? He hadn’t seen any movies with anything like that nor had he heard of such a thing. Sure, he’s seen some movies where the man has a mistress of sorts or the woman has another man to sleep with, but not once had he heard of a mansion filled with rooms.

“Hey hey hey! Pull it together guys! We can’t let these rich people think that we common folk are a bunch of rowdy people! Let’s show them we can be just as rich acting as they are.” (JI) Daehyun briefly glanced at Jin, noticing that Jin had fixed his posture. Daehyun knew that Jin had nothing against rich people, but he also knew that Jin was the type to act as if rich people were throwing a challenge their way. Well, as long as Jin didn’t get into trouble, then it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

Stopping in front of the double doors, Daehyun looked around for a moment before pressing the doorbell. Even from outside, they could hear just how loud the doorbell sounded throughout the house. He would imagine that the doorbell needed to be loud enough for the entire house to hear it. Though.. he was rather curious how long it took to get to the front doors if someone was at the farthest end of the mansion.

It took no longer than ten seconds before the door opened. All five men stood up a bit straighter, their eyes all landing on the butler whom quietly examined all five of them. Without so much as a single word though, the butler merely stepped aside as he gave a forty-five degree angle before motioning them to come in.

Each of them bowed as well as they walked into the mansion one by one. Daehyun made certain to hide the bouquet behind his back as he looked around. The inside had a modern day look to it, filled with all kinds of furniture and decorations that seemed to bring the main entranceway to life. Judging by how big the place was, there didn’t seem to be any sort of shoe rack as well, so they may not be the type of people whom took their shoes off while at home. Well, they might, but they might have separate shoe racks at their own rooms.

“Wow! Look at this painting! It’s really pretty.” (JU) Daehyun slightly looked over to the side where Jongup had rushed over to. He was currently looking at a painting of a zoomed in flower, which had been painted with a rose-like color. He probably would have continued examining the painting, but the sound of footsteps quickly drew his attention.

Looking up, Daehyun instantly smiled as he saw Young Jae coming down the steps. However, the smile slowly faded as he saw the girl currently holding onto his arm. Who.. was she? Was she his sister? Maybe just a friend? Or... was she more than just a friend? These thoughts swarmed around his head, but he tried to keep at least a small smile on his face.

They were only about halfway down the steps when Young Jae finally noticed whom had arrived. The second his eyes landed on Daehyun’s face, he nearly slipped down the steps from just how different Daehyun looked. If it hadn’t been for Tiffany, Young Jae probably would have stopped walking altogether. “Hey.. You okay?” (TF)

“Y-Yeah... Just.. lost my bearings is all. I’m fine now though.” (YJ) Young Jae cleared his throat a bit as the duo continued forward. His eyes were practically glued on Daehyun, his mind taking in as much of this different side of Daehyun as possible. He was just so very... good looking. What made him decide to change his appearance like this?

As they neared, Young Jae attempted to bring his smile onto his face as he slightly bowed his head towards everyone. He hoped that his little slip up hadn’t been too noticeable and in a way, he was kind of wishing that he had upped his appearance a little more than usual. “W-Welcome to my home! I, uh.. I hope that you all have a good time. I am Young Jae and this lovely lady is Tiffany.” (YJ)

“Hello!” (TF) Each of them bowed their heads before engaging in a small conversation. Daehyun, however, stood off to the side as his hand tightened over the bouquet that he was still holding behind his back. If Tiffany was Young Jae’s girlfriend, then... his advances wouldn’t matter anymore. His eyes shifted back downwards, his eyes honing in on Tiffany’s hand. He wanted to question their relationship, but at the same time... he felt as if he already knew what their relationship may be.

Noticing Daehyun’s distance, Young Jae was about to pull away and ask Daehyun what was wrong, but Jin had interrupted his thoughts as he asked if they had any appetizers to eat. With a small smile, Young Jae briefly glanced once more over at Daehyun before leading almost everyone in to the main room.

With a small sigh, Daehyun turned to face the table that currently stood in the middle of the main room. Setting the bouquet down onto the table, he looked at the flowers as he carefully touched the flowers. He wasn’t even sure about anything and yet.. he was giving up so early. Maybe he just wasn’t cut out for romance if he was going to give up so easily.

Slowly sliding his hand off of the table, Daehyun weakly smiled before he followed after everyone else. It would be okay.. right? It’s not like they were supposed to be together anyway. Plus, they didn’t really know each other so.. he shouldn’t necessarily have fallen so hard for Young Jae so easily.

As Daehyun stepped into the main room, Hanbi made her way down the steps before her eyes landed on the bouquet of flowers on the flower. A smile graced her lips as she quickly made her way over to the table before picking up the flowers. Examining the bouquet, she held her smile as she gave it a small sniff before looking up at the butler whom was currently still by the door. “Who left these here?” (MY)

“A young man, ma’am. He had.. I believe pink hair and was wearing a red blazer.” Hanbi briefly glanced back down at the bouquet, her smile never wavering as she touched a few of the petals.

“Do you know who the recipient is?” (MY) Hanbi looked back up at the servant, but disappointment ran through her as he merely shook his head. Turning around, Hanbi kept her attention on the flowers as she began walking. Well, maybe she could give it to his intended recipient. They were such beautiful flowers and it would just be a terrible waste to let the flowers whither away before his recipient could see them!

Back in the main room, Young Jae had one of the servants start up the music before having a few of the other servants go to their stations. The second one of the servants showed up at the bar, Daehyun made a bee line towards it before sitting down on one of the stools. Young Jae probably would have questioned Daehyun once more, but he couldn’t leave Tiffany on her own with everyone else. After all, she didn’t know anyone else here, so he didn’t want to end up making her uncomfortable.

As Young Jae and Tiffany mingled with Jongup, Jongin, and Baekhyun, Daehyun turned to look at Young Jae. He seemed happy, so he should be happy for him, right? So then.. why did he feel this way? Letting out another sigh, Daehyun turned back towards the bar before taking hold of the drink that the bartender had finally concocted. Just as he was about to drink the entire thing in one go, a hand came up and rubbed his back. Looking to his left, Daehyun noticed Jin, whom was currently grinning. “Don’t worry Daehyun! Me and the other guys got a plan to get you and Young Jae together, so don’t worry about it!” (JI)

Daehyun smiled a bit as he looked down at his drink. Well, at least one of them was thinking positively. “Don’t worry about it.. It doesn’t really matter anymore.. right? I’ll just get over it.. So go and have fun.” (DH)

“Wow.. You’re such a downer! I’ve never seen you like this. No way am I letting this go now!” (JI) Jin sat down on the stool next to Daehyun before leaning against the edge of the bar. Folding his arms, Jin furrowed his eyebrows a bit as he stared over at the currently conversing group. “I still want to get you two together, so don’t give up just yet.” (JI)

“Don’t give up.. huh..” (DH) Taking a sip of his drink, Daehyun raised his glass a bit before swirling his drink around, watching as the ice spun in his glass. It sounded like something he would say, so.. why had he given up so easily? He could listen to Jin and hold onto his hope, but.. was it the wisest decision to make?

Chapter 48: I swear this is like one of the best fanfic I have ever read. The childhood part was really interesting and nicely done, I wish you would detail some scenes but that's okay. And now... I don't know where you are going with this but I feel so excited. I am sad for Jin though because for the first time, he found someone important and yet, he lost it. That's so cruel you know. R. I. P Taehyung ~ ;-; Kyungsoo is a freaking bastard, hope he would end up in prison. Seungjong too! Feels like you are plotting something with him haha! Especially since he didn't get his revenge. Damn.... Daehyun will get to suffer again. X) about DaeJae, I love how slow you are making it. That's frustrating and sweet at the same time. And BangHim gosh, I want them to be together officially. But each time something interrupt them. X) is their couple going to be part of your plot or is it not that important? That's funny because I thought from the childhood that Himchan would have ended up with Sunny ~ By the way, that's been a long time we haven't seen her, is she going to make a cameo haha?
I also found it funny how Zelo and Jongup didn't like each other and how dependant Junhong seems to be towards Jongup when they both grew up haha! I actually laughed a lot when they bickered back then and now Junhong likes his hyung haha! Funny ~ Anyway I'm just going to end this review because I spent the last four nights reading these 48 chapters, I feel like I'm not making any sense anymore haha! Well, fighting for the next chapter, I am kind of excited to read it now! Fighting!!!!
