The viewers in that room could only stare in complete shock as the person on the platform soon began to rock their hips from side to side with a fist raised into the air. He stood there, doing this same action for a few more seconds before setting the stereo onto the ground. Placing his hands on his hips, he furrowed his eyebrows as he looked around; taking note of all the stares that he was receiving. “Come on people! What, ya’ll a bunch of stiffs? Well, in a moment, that’s not the only thing that’ll be stiffening!”

Turning around, he quickly grabbed hold of the pole behind him before he slowly, yet with such passion, began to grind up against the pole. With his free hand, the man began to move his fur jacket off, exposing his shoulder in a teasing way. He made certain that his shoulder remained exposed as he swung his leg around the pole before swinging around on it, making certain that he had a firm grip with both his leg and his hand. As he slowed down a bit, the man slowly slipped his jacket off as he let go of the pole with his other hand, leaning backwards as he arched his back.

Before his coat could completely slip off of him, he quickly spotted Young Jae before tossing his coat over to him. Luckily enough, Young Jae had side stepped out of the way, causing the coat to hit the ground behind him instead. The man on the pole was slightly agitated that that had occurred, but he just continued on with his performance.

Sadly, his performance would come to an end as Young Jae soon turned the music off before stepping back up onto the stage and taking hold of the man’s swinging arm. Pulling the man roughly, yet carefully, away from the pole and firmly back onto his feet, Young Jae cleared his throat a bit as he tried to keep a calm look on his face. “Sir… I believe you have the wrong address.” (YJ)

“Hm? Of course I don’t, dip! See? Right here. I got the address to prove it and everything.” The man quickly searched into his pockets in search for something, but when he didn't find it, he his hand into his pants and possibly underwear... if he was even wearing any. Everyone whom wasn’t necessarily fascinated with watching a man himself turned away as the man seemed to be fondling himself. However, a quick look of accomplishment showed up on his face before he pulled his hand back out, revealing a piece of paper. The man quickly unfolded it and dusted it off with a quick thwack of his hand before holding it out towards Young Jae. “See? It’s all right there.”

Young Jae hesitated as he stared at the paper. He didn’t necessarily want to touch something that had been in a complete stranger’s pants and most likely pressed up against their private parts. So, in order to avoid doing such a thing, Young Jae merely moved a bit so that he could see what was currently written on the piece of paper. Sadly, it seemed like the man wasn’t going to have it as he soon took hold of Young Jae’s hand before shoving the piece of paper into it. “Don’t be shy now! Just take the damn thing! I don’t need it.”

Bad chills instantly ran down his spine as Young Jae now held the piece of paper in the palm of his hand. Even though it was just a piece of paper, it was clearly warm from where it had been stored. Plus, the feeling the piece of paper seemed to give off made it completely uncomfortable to hold, especially since it seemed to be a little... moist. Keeping as straight a face as he could possibly produce, Young Jae finally looked down at the piece of paper before reading what was written on it.

Well, so far, the address was correct, however… he doesn’t recall ever hiring a stripper to his party. It may explain the platform and the pole, but it doesn’t explain why a stripper, whom seemed to go by the name of ‘Apple Belle’, was currently here. Looking back up at the other man, he could see that he held that confident smirk before the man quickly slapped Young Jae’s bottom. “Oh, lighten up! I can show everyone here a good time with my magic touches. Wanna be the first?”

The man had begun to reach for Young Jae’s private area when Young Jae quickly took a step back. Taking the man’s wrist, he shoved the piece of paper back into his hand before turning the man around. “I apologize, but your services were not requested by me.” (YJ)

“Hey, hey, hey! Being forward, are we?” Young Jae quickly took another step back as the man practically bent forward, sticking his bottom up into the air before looking behind him. He had that devilish grin on his face, to which Young Jae did not like. In fact… something about him felt familiar, but he couldn’t put his finger on it. “What? You not a top?”

Looking around for a brief moment, he could see everyone watching while quietly talking amongst themselves. This has gone on quite long enough and Young Jae was getting quite fed up with the man. Looking over to a few guards by the door, Young Jae motioned for the men to come over. The guards immediately acted as they took the man by his arms and began to drag him away, though he didn’t seem to want to leave just yet. Despite attempting to break free from the guard’s hold, he was just merely dragged away. Letting out a sigh, Young Jae forced a smile on his face once more as he looked around. “I… apologize for such a display. Please, enjoy your meals while I handle everything.” (YJ)

Young Jae looked over at the quintet and quickly nodded, allowing the five instrumentalists to start up their music. After quickly motioning for the servants to begin serving the food, Young Jae stepped off of the platform before making his way towards the entrance. Rubbing his temples a bit, Young Jae attempted to keep himself calm when another person soon joined up with him. Looking to his right, Young Jae instantly let out a weary smile as he felt Daehyun’s arm wrap around his waist. “You alright? You seem frustrated.” (DH)

“I’m fine. I just don’t understand who hired a stripper. I know that neither mom nor Tiffany would have done it, but then there’s no one else wh-...” (YJ) Young Jae came to a stop as his gaze landed on a male whom was currently talking to the guards. Furrowing his eyebrows, Young Jae balled his hands into fists as he felt quite annoyed with the ‘prank’ that had just occurred. “Kyungsoo…” (YJ)

Daehyun turned his head forward, his eyes locking in on the man that Young Jae was talking about. From what he could see, the guards were now heading back to their previous positions as Kyungsoo seemed to be talking, and possibly apologizing, to the stripper.

As Young Jae and Daehyun came up close to the two, they both turned to look at them with smiles of sorts. Well, Kyungsoo was the one smiling. The other man seemed to be annoyed, but still have a sort of smirk on his face. Shifting his weight onto his other leg, the man chuckled a bit as he folded his arms. “I accept your apology! I get it. You didn’t want your boyfriend here to be jealous of something as y as I, right?”

The two stared at him for a moment before realization kicked in. Both of them looked down at Daehyun’s arm before they quickly stepped away from one another, their faces slightly red. “H-He’s not my boyfriend… And anyway, I did not hire you.” (YJ)

“I know. This guy did.” The man pointed his thumb at Kyungsoo, whom held his ‘innocent’ smile. The stripper then seemed to come to a realization as he pointed at Daehyun with slightly wide eyes. “Oh! I knew you looked familiar! You’re Daehyun, aren’t you?! Don’t think you can lie!”

The man stepped forward before roughly poking Daehyun’s chest. However, he paused for a moment before slowly turning to look at Young Jae. He narrowed his eyelids, realization slowly kicking in as he then pointed at Young Jae. Worry instantly kicked in as Daehyun quickly stepped in between them, a nervous smile on his face. “Ahahaha! S-Sungjong.. ah.. um.. a pleasant surprise! I, uh.. didn’t recognize you. Anyway, we gotta get going! Uh.. Be safe heading home and uh, have a good night!” (DH)

Daehyun turned around before putting his arm around Young Jae’s shoulders and quickly led him back towards the main room. Daehyun didn’t know Sungjong’s mental state at the moment, but he knew that Sungjong still hasn’t forgiven him for keeping him from getting Young Jae. If Sungjong recognized Young Jae, then there was no telling what he could do now. After all, there were a lot more ways of getting what one wanted as an adult as opposed to as a kid… and there was no way of knowing what Sungjong would do once he got what he wanted.

Of course, he didn’t want to find out. Daehyun had promised Young Jae that he would protect him, so that’s what he was going to do. Whatever it took, Daehyun was determined to make certain that Young Jae stayed out of harm’s way. At least this time, Young Jae had Yongguk and various other people as bodyguards, so he at least didn’t have to worry too much about what Sungjong would attempt to do. “That was... Sungjong?” (YJ)

The second they had slowed their pace, Young Jae had taken the opportunity to walk next to Daehyun before looking his way. Daehyun looked at Young Jae before nodding a bit. He didn’t know how Young Jae felt about Sungjong now, but Daehyun could only assume that he didn’t like him, even after all this time. It was hard to forget the bully that had made ones life miserable at some point in their life. “You okay?” (DH)

“Y-Yeah… yeah… I’m fine.” (YJ) Despite saying that he was fine and attempting to put on a strong front, Daehyun couldn’t help but feel as if there was a tint of uneasiness within Young Jae. With a small smile, Daehyun put his hand on Young Jae’s shoulder before giving it a firm squeeze.

“If you’re sure, then… okay. Let’s go eat, yeah?” (DH) Young Jae nodded a bit as the two made their way over to their table. He was rather glad that Daehyun had pulled him away before Sungjong had a chance to talk to him. Young Jae had hoped never to see him ever again, but… it seemed like fate had a different plan in mind. Of course, he had to put a lot of the blame on Kyungsoo as well. If it wasn’t for him, then Young Jae wouldn’t have had to worry about coming face to face with the man that made the first few months at the Orphanage a horrible place to be.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“So... You know Daehyun?” (DO) Sungjong stared for a moment longer before turning to look at Kyungsoo. He smirked as he looked back at the two, his eyes practically glued on pair, whom were now taking their seats. He didn’t necessarily care if he had either one of them. Attaching oneself to a single person just seemed like a completely pointless thing to do, especially with so many other delectable choices to play with. In fact, he’s had his fair share of men that he’s enjoyed during the time he’s been away from the Orphanage, so he didn’t care about getting into their pants. What he did care for, however, was the revenge he’s been waiting for this entire time. For whatever reason, he just could not let go of the fact that Young Jae had not only slipped away from his grasp, but that Daehyun had also been the one to humiliate him in the process.

“Yeah… I know him. Tell me, is the other one Young Jae by any chance?” (SJ)

“Yeah, why? Did you two go to the same Orphanage?” (DO) Sungjong merely nodded as his eyes seemed to practically give off his true intentions. Kyungsoo found himself giving off a smirk as well as he turned to look at the two. “So… Did something happen between you three?” (DO)

“More than you could imagine…” (SJ) Sungjong turned to look at Kyungsoo before resting his elbow on his shoulder. He held his own jawline in the palm of his hand as he stared at the man, causing Kyungsoo to turn his head towards Sungjong. “You were the one who hired me, right? You wanted to embarrass Young Jae since it seems like this is his party and not yours. What’s your deal with Young Jae?” (SJ)

“Heh… That obvious huh? Yeah, I hired you. I want to make Young Jae’s life as miserable as possible. Why? Because he’s my little brother. That’s all the reason I need.” (DO) Sungjong scoffed as he held his smirk, turning back to look at Young Jae. If that was the case, then he didn’t even need to get his revenge anymore. Someone was already making his life somewhat miserable, despite the kind of setting he was living in. “Think you’re up for another job?” (DO)

“Oh?” (SJ) Sungjong looked back at Kyungsoo, curiosity just faintly tapping along his skin. It was enough to grab his attention, especially since he was thinking more about the kind of job he did in the bedroom as opposed to the kind of job that Kyungsoo was thinking of, but a job was a job. “I’m listening.” (SJ)

“Well… You don’t like Young Jae and Daehyun, right?” (DO) Sungjong chuckled a bit as he pulled away from Kyungsoo before folding his arms once more.

“Don’t like... is an understatement.” (SJ) Kyungsoo slowly nodded as he folded his arms as well.

“Then you wouldn’t mind helping me… obtain… Daehyun.” (DO) This quickly grabbed his attention as Sungjong raised a single brow, a devilish smile playing on his lips as he looked at Kyungsoo. What, exactly, was he trying to pull here? No. That was a stupid question. Sungjong already knew, but might as well hear it directly from this man’s mouth.

“And why, exactly, do you want to obtain him and what do I get from this… little arrangement?” (SJ) Kyungsoo looked his way before pulling out a small piece of paper. He held it out to Sungjong, whom delightfully took hold of the piece of paper before looking at what was written on it. The second he realized that it was a number, his eyes glistened with greed before looking at Kyungsoo. “Money is lovely and all, but… I see no other benefit from you obtaining the so-called man of your dreams, the man that you seem to worship his over. What I want, including the money of course, is revenge.” (SJ)

Kyungsoo smirked as he folded his arms, his gaze turning back towards the duo at the table, now seemingly enjoying their food. So, he was now worshipping another man’s ? If it wasn’t for the fact that he could possibly use Sungjong for his own benefits, then he would have beaten the out of the man. However, he wasn’t about to do that just yet. “Don’t worry… You’ll get your revenge. After all, how heartbreaking would it be for Young Jae if Daehyun ended up with a person he highly detested?” (DO)

He thought on it for a moment before Sungjong smiled a bit. The idea was quite tantalizing and although it wasn’t necessarily the most filling revenge, it was at least one step towards having his revenge. “Hm… So that’s your idea? Alright. You have my attention.” (SJ)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

While at the table, the two had separated once more as they sat on opposite sides of the table. Daehyun sat between Seohyun and one of the other guests while Young Jae sat between Tiffany and another guest. As they ate, they seemed to constantly glance up at one another from time to time, only to look away once more. Daehyun wanted things to work out between them, but he would just have to respect Young Jae’s wishes. Just being close to him is good enough for Daehyun. He didn’t want to make things anymore awkward and possibly end up pushing Young Jae away. “So, Daehyun, right? I heard from Young Jae that you were a pretty good friend of his! How was he like as a child?” (TF)

Daehyun looked up, surprise clear on his face as he looked at Tiffany. Tiffany had that eye smile of hers on, clearly eager to hear about Young Jae’s childhood. Now, Daehyun didn’t necessarily know Young Jae for that long, maybe about four to five months before he got adopted, but he could still clearly remember their time together. With a small smile, Daehyun set his hand on the table as he tried to think. “Well… he was a quiet kid at first. He didn’t really talk to anyone, but he would always talk to his Teddy bear, especially if he was feeling scared or uncertain about something. He was… well, he was really cute and that’s what drew me to him. Though… he was even scared of me at first when I tried to talk to him the first time.” (DH)

“H-Hey! I wasn’t scared! I was just… surprised is all!” (YJ) A small chuckle escaped his lips as he briefly glanced over at Young Jae. He could see a faint shade of red on Young Jae’s face, showing that the words being spoken were possibly embarrassing him. Still, he was merely answering Tiffany’s question in an honest manner.

“Shh! Let Daehyun tell the story!” (TF) Tiffany quickly, but gently enough, slapped Young Jae’s arm before looking back at Daehyun. She was quite interested to hear more about Young Jae, especially since he rarely ever spoke about his time at the Orphanage. He did, however, speak about Daehyun often after they had reunited, though he never really went into detail. “Go on! How did you two meet? How did it go?” (TF)

Looking over at Young Jae, Daehyun could see the uncertainty on his face, but he could also see that Young Jae was looking forward to what Daehyun was going to say. As Daehyun took a brief moment to gather his thoughts, Daehyun couldn’t help but smile as he begun talking. “There was this kid, Sungjong, who used to pick on Young Jae when he first got there. For the first week or so, Sungjong had bullied Young Jae, picking on him, hurting him, anything he could think of to hurt Young Jae in some way or form. I… should have done something sooner, but I finally got fed up with what Sungjong was doing. So, when Young Jae came back to the Orphanage around late at night, I… came to his room to talk to him, but he quickly assumed that I was a bully.” (DH)

Daehyun chuckled a bit as he remembered the tear-stained face that had shown itself once the blanket had been removed. It was sad, but Daehyun had at least done something to try and make sure those tears didn’t stain that face anymore. “I... heh… I said that I would be his hero and that I’d come running from then on.” (DH)

“You also left me candy.” (YJ) Everyone looked over at Young Jae, whom instantly turned red before looking away. He cleared his throat, reaching for the glass of water as he tried to keep himself calm. “It was important... the um… the candy… you know… since it’s the first thing anyone gave me at the Orphanage…” (YJ)

Could he help it? It was the first kind thing that has happened to him then, so it had been implanted into his memory all this time. Young Jae even remembered the type of candy that Daehyun had given him, which had quickly become his most favorite type of candy after that day. “Yeah… I gave you candy. About… eight pieces? I think I gave you what was left of my hidden stash that day. A bunch of sour candy and some chocolate to balance it out.” (DH)

“Yeah! They were really great. I became addicted to that kind of candy for a while.” (YJ) Both males smiled towards one another, staring for a brief moment before the rest of the world quickly came back into their view. They awkwardly looked back down at their plates, smiles still on their faces as they began eating again. Tiffany couldn’t help but smile, seeing how the two loved to reminisce about the past. It was sweet and in a way, Tiffany wanted to do the same thing with her closest friends.

“You two must have loved it when you two were children.” (TF) The two looked up at one another for a brief moment before Daehyun looked at Tiffany and nodded.

“Yeah… I miss those days.” (DH) Those words seemed to slowly cause Young Jae’s smile to fade as his thoughts went back to what they had spoken about on the balcony. Letting out a small sigh, Young Jae sat up a bit before pressing his elbow on the edge of the table and resting his jaw in the palm of his hand.

Over at another table, Yongguk was sitting with his head facing downwards in an attempt to hide the obvious embarrassment that was on his face. Now, he was usually a calm, collected, and quiet person. Yes, he was quiet now, but he was currently embarrassed simply because of one person. Who that one person was? Well, it was the person sitting next to him and that person just so happened to be Himchan. Even after all of this time, Yongguk still harbored quite a… crush on the man.

Of course, his little happiness of being next to Himchan would soon be slightly disrupted as another man sit on the other side of Himchan. Yongguk looked up, his eyes narrowing as he stared at the man. Unlike Daehyun and Young Jae, Yongguk had instantly recognized Sungjong. Yongguk had quite the connections and although he didn’t necessarily feel proud of it, Yongguk had been around here and there. No, not in the making relations type of being around, but more of the type to just be here and there, specifically in shady areas. How else would he be more knowledgeable about the area if he didn’t go to these places himself? “Yongguk? Why are you so quiet?” (Z)

“Hm? Oh… don’t worry about it.” (BY) Zelo frowned a bit as he leaned back in his seat. Leaning forward, Sungjong looked over at Yongguk. A sly smirk played along his lips as he looked at Himchan, whom was currently eating comfortably. Leaning forward, Sungjong set his elbow on the table as he rested his chin in the palm of his hand. He held a playful smirk as he used his free hand to wiggle his fingers at Himchan.

“Hey y beast! How have you been?” (SJ) In an attempt to be subtle, Yongguk ly his gaze over to the two as he unintentionally glared at Sungjong. When Sungjong noticed this, his smirk only seemed to grow as he looked at Himchan. He reached forward with his free hand, slowly sliding his hand along Himchan’s thigh in an attempt to get a response. “Woooow… Do you work out? Your thighs feel so big and firm. I wonder what else has gotten… bigger.” (SJ)

Before Sungjong’s hand could move where he had wanted it to go, Himchan calmly moved Sungjong’s hand away from his person before he turned his attention back to his food. He did respond to Sungjong’s first question, though he didn’t bother turning to look at Sungjong. “I’m fine, but keep your hands to yourself. I don’t want to catch whatever disease you caught.” (HC)

Sungjong narrowed his eyelids a bit as he slowly pulled away. Yongguk couldn’t help but smirk with amusement as he finally lifted his head, sitting up with a bit more confidence. He was glad that Himchan rejected Sungjong’s advances and hopefully, it ended up staying that way.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“So, Tiffany. What’s your relationship with Young Jae?” (SH) Daehyun instantly looked up at Tiffany as he waited for an answer. He was thankful that Seohyun had managed to ask the question that has been on his mind the second he had seen the two at the top of the staircase. Technically, he could have asked Young Jae about their relationship himself, but Daehyun hadn’t wanted to learn about their relationship at the same time. In a way… he kind of wanted to keep himself blind to the truth. Now, though, Daehyun felt like he needed to know just to be certain about Young Jae’s current situation.

“Me? Well…” (TF) Before an answer could be given, the sound of clinking glass sounded throughout the room, pulling everyone’s attention away from the conversations that they had been having. In the center of the room, standing atop the platform, was Young Jae’s mother, holding a drinking glass in one hand as well as a small spoon in the other. Once she was certain that she had everyone’s attention, Hanbi smiled as she set the glass and the spoon on the tray that a nearby servant was currently holding.

“I do apologize for pulling everyone from their meals and their nice conversations, but an announcement must be made! It is a very special announcement involving my youngest son, Young Jae, and my current business partner and friend’s daughter, Tiffany. Say hello, sweetie!” (MY) Hanbi waved over at Young Jae and Tiffany, whom both waved in response. Of course, since Young Jae was facing the platform, his eyes landed on Daehyun, whom was currently staring at him. Slowly, Young Jae lowered his hand as well as his head, finding it uncomfortable to look Daehyun in the eye at this point. Sadly, his attempt at blending in with the background was cut short as Tiffany gently nudged him with her elbow.

“Hey… Smile and look up. Everyone’s watching.” (TF) Young Jae nodded a bit as he forced himself to sit up straight and look back up at his mother. He tried not to look at Daehyun, but since Daehyun was sitting in front of him, it was rather difficult not to. Of course, luckily, Daehyun had turned to look back up at the woman in the middle of the room.

“Initially, it had been planned that Young Jae and Tiffany give this announcement, however, they had both voiced that they were both shy and embarrassed by this announcement, so it came upon me to aide them in their ability to move forward with such a momentous occasion!” (MY) With her usual smile, Hanbi looked around to make sure that everyone was still listening to her. “I am very proud to say, for their friends to hear, that Young Jae and Tiffany are happily engaged! Please, let’s raise a glass for the newly engaged couple!” (MY)

As Hanbi took hold of the drinking glass, everyone else seemed to follow suit. Tiffany and Young Jae each smiled, bowing their heads as Tiffany raised her glass in response. However, when Young Jae looked at Daehyun, he could see a torn expression on his face before a weary smile quickly replaced that expression. Noticing this, Young Jae knew he had to say something. Why he had to say this though, he wasn’t certain. “Dae-“ (YJ)

Before Young Jae could even attempt to figure out what he wanted to say, Daehyun raised his glass to Young Jae as he attempted to brighten his smile. Daehyun nodded, his gaze flickering towards the glass that was currently in front of Young Jae. Young Jae looked downwards, his gaze spotting the glass before he hesitantly reached for it. Taking in a deep breath, Young Jae forced a smile onto his face as he raised the glass in front of him. “Cheers.” (DH)

Everyone else seemed to follow suit as they each said their cheers or congratulations before pretending to clink glasses with one another. As Daehyun brought the glass to his lips, Young Jae slowly lowered his glass as he continued to stare at him. What had Daehyun been given to drink? From the looks of it, it must be juice, but then again… Daehyun could have asked the servant to add some sort of alcohol to it. Still… he could only hope that Daehyun wasn’t planning on drinking again.

Once everyone went back to enjoying their dinner, with a few people now up on the dance floor to dance along with the quintet’s music, Kyungsoo quickly swiped up the seat next to Daehyun. The servant whom had followed after Kyungsoo quickly took the other person’s plate and cup away before replacing it with the one that Kyungsoo had been using. Daehyun looked to his left, a wee bit surprised by Kyungsoo’s entrance, but he merely smiled as he turned back to his food. Kyungsoo instantly took this as a good sign as he leaned in a little. “So, Daehyun, right? I don’t believe we’ve formally met. I’m Kyungsoo, Young Jae’s older brother.” (DO)

Holding his hand out, Kyungsoo held as bright a smile as possible as he waited for Daehyun to shake his hand. Daehyun wasn’t necessarily in the mood to talk with everyone else, but he kept the smile on his face as he briefly shook Kyungsoo’s hand. “Yeah… my name’s Daehyun. It’s nice to meet you.” (DH)

“Likewise. Anyway, how do you like the food? Is it to your tastes? I can get the servant to bring it back and bring you a freshly made dish if you don’t.” (DO) He just needed to get on Daehyun’s good side in order for his plans to work. After all, if he could convince Daehyun that he was a good guy, then it made it much simpler for his plans to reach completion. His eyes flickered over to Young Jae, a smirk playing on his lips as he saw just how annoyed Young Jae looked.

“No, no… It’s fine. The food’s fine.” (DH) Despite them having only small conversation with no hint of interest in the other whatsoever, Young Jae was still feeling a little annoyed that Kyungsoo was talking to Daehyun. He couldn’t be jealous… could he? No, no! That couldn’t be the case. There was just no way that Young Jae was heart broken or jealous or anything like that. He was just more… concerned for Daehyun’s well being. After all, this was Kyungsoo they were talking about! Kyungsoo could potentially end up hurting Daehyun in some way, shape, or form and that was something that Young Jae just couldn’t allow.

“Go away, Kyungsoo. Daehyun clearly doesn’t want to talk to you.” (YJ) Kyungsoo quickly shot a glare at Young Jae, but he merely scoffed as a smirk played along his lips.

“I’m allowed to be here and I’m preeeeeetty certain that if Daehyun didn’t want to talk to me, then he would say so. Right, Daehyun?” (DO) Kyungsoo nudged Daehyun, whom only gave the kind of smile that showed that he didn’t exactly agree with his words, but only smiled to be polite. With a satisfied grin, Kyungsoo stabbed at a piece of meat on Daehyun’s place before swiping it away and eating it himself. “So, what kind of things do you like?” (DO)

“Sir.” Kyungsoo looked up, a bit annoyed as he looked at the servant that had made his way over to him. He was about to tell the servant to go away, but the servants at the household knew that they had to quickly say what they needed to say in order to make sure that the message made it through. “Madame Hanbi wishes to speak to you.”

Kyungsoo looked over towards where the servant was motioning his hands. His eyes landed on his mother, whom currently had her arms folded and did not seem all that amused. Letting out a quiet curse under his breath, Kyungsoo quickly got up from his seat before heading over to where his mother was.

She just HAD to get in the way.

Young Jae let out a relieved sigh, but he quickly heard another similar sigh from across the table. Looking up, he found himself smiling as he saw Daehyun seem to relax a bit. Had Daehyun been hoping that he would go away as well? “So… uh… What do you think of Kyungsoo so far?” (YJ)

Daehyun looked up as his eyes widened out of curiosity. He stared for a brief moment before a slight chuckle escaped his lips. Daehyun wasn’t necessarily certain on how Young Jae’s words from before had fit in this situation, but Kyungsoo didn’t seem so bad so far. “He seems… nice so far.” (DH)

“Don’t fall for it. That’s the kind of mask that he wears when he wants something.” (TF) Daehyun looked at Tiffany, whom seemed just as relieved as Young Jae. “Any time when we were kids, he always pretended to be nice to get something from me or from the adults. Then, when Young Jae came along, he always tried to make it seem like he was the bad guy by putting on that fake mask. I’m telling you, he’s definitely up to something.” (TF)

He nodded in response as Daehyun looked back down at his food, rolling Tiffany’s words in his head. If someone else was speaking up about being wary of Kyungsoo, then that meant that he really did have to be wary about Kyungsoo’s motives. He already had Young Jae’s words, but he had somewhat wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Though… that probably didn’t seem like the greatest idea now. Looking back up at Tiffany, Daehyun smiled as he nodded a bit. “Thanks for the information.” (DH)

“Anything for Young Jae’s hero!” (TF) Tiffany chuckled a little as she looked at Young Jae before nudging him with her elbow. Young Jae had turned a bit red as he looked at Tiffany, an embarrassed smile on his face as he briefly glanced up at Daehyun.

“Yeah… My hero…” (YJ)

Chapter 48: I swear this is like one of the best fanfic I have ever read. The childhood part was really interesting and nicely done, I wish you would detail some scenes but that's okay. And now... I don't know where you are going with this but I feel so excited. I am sad for Jin though because for the first time, he found someone important and yet, he lost it. That's so cruel you know. R. I. P Taehyung ~ ;-; Kyungsoo is a freaking bastard, hope he would end up in prison. Seungjong too! Feels like you are plotting something with him haha! Especially since he didn't get his revenge. Damn.... Daehyun will get to suffer again. X) about DaeJae, I love how slow you are making it. That's frustrating and sweet at the same time. And BangHim gosh, I want them to be together officially. But each time something interrupt them. X) is their couple going to be part of your plot or is it not that important? That's funny because I thought from the childhood that Himchan would have ended up with Sunny ~ By the way, that's been a long time we haven't seen her, is she going to make a cameo haha?
I also found it funny how Zelo and Jongup didn't like each other and how dependant Junhong seems to be towards Jongup when they both grew up haha! I actually laughed a lot when they bickered back then and now Junhong likes his hyung haha! Funny ~ Anyway I'm just going to end this review because I spent the last four nights reading these 48 chapters, I feel like I'm not making any sense anymore haha! Well, fighting for the next chapter, I am kind of excited to read it now! Fighting!!!!
