The next few days after the incident were... they weren't awkward but if people were to walk into the apartment, they could tell that something had happened previously. 

Nothing much really happened after the incident. The only thing that happened was that Kris and Baekhyun spoke to each other, sorted out their differences and made up. After the incident Kris just told everyone to rest. Told them to catch up on sleep, visit wherever they wanted- making sure they weren't caught- and just to do whatever they wanted to do. 

One thing that Kyungsoo had noticed since the incident was how much closer Kris had become to Tao. Sure they were close already but something had happened when Tao ran after Kris and bought him back to the apartment. Since then, the two were always sat close together and whenever Kris walk of somewhere Tao was watching his ever move like a hawk. 

"Are you alright?" Kyungsoo asked as Tao tore his eyes away from Kris, turning to Kyungsoo with a smile 
"Fine" he replied before lowering his voice 
"Just making sure that he doesn't do a runner again... you know?" and Kyungsoo shot him a reassuring smile, patting him on the knee.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Joonmyun asked, bending down to help Yixing when he saw the pained expression on the latter's face 
"Perfectly fine" Yixing replied before wincing 
"You don't look it" Joonmyun said, eyes widened a little when Yixing placed a hand on his arm to push on so he could stand up. 

"I'll be fine, I just need a few pills down me and time to rest for a bit. I'll be back on my feet in no time!" he replied walking over to the medicine cabinet whilst Joonmyun watched on worryingly.

"You look like you're thinking about something" Sehun said when he saw Kyungsoo's expression 
"That's because I am" Kyungsoo replied 
"What are you thinking about?" Sehun asked taking a seat next to him. 

"When Baekhyun freaked out the other day and said he couldn't take it anymore, helping people and risking his life. It made me wonder that because you guys have been doing this for so long, when are you going to stop?" he asked as everyone turned towards him 
"Stop?" Tao asked and Kyungsoo nodded his head. 

"Nothing really lasts forever. Surely you'll stop this eventually" Kyungsoo said 
"Yeah but if we do, what are we suppose to do then? We've dedicated most of our lives to this" Joonmyun replied as Kyungsoo stood up from his seat, all eyes trained onto him. 

"It's not the end of the world is it? There are opportunities out there probably waiting for you!" he began turning to Baekhyun 
"Your friend is part of the police force right? Well then why don't you join the force as well? You don't neccessarily have to be the one out there fighting crime, you can sit back and take a more commanding role behind the scenes" to which Baekhyun frowned. Him, be a part of the police force? 

"And Joonmyun, you were so close to getting into university right? Well then you can always re-enter and get a degree surely?" Kyungsoo continued and Joonmyun pondered the thought for a second 
"And Kris, you're the one who made all of this up because you like to help people. Go volunteer to help those who need it! Go help in orphanages or help in aid programmes abroad. Don't you guys see? Anything is possible!" he finished. 

"And you really think we could change our lives like that and do well?" Jongin asked 
"Well if someone as clumsy as me could get a job in a chemist, you guys can do anything" Yixing piped up, earning a few laughs around the room. 

"And what about you Kyungsoo?" Kris asked silencing the room instantly 
"If one day I was to suddenly let you go because we were all going to stop this, what would you do?" he asked 
"Simple. I'd go back home, talk things over with my parents and get back on track with my life. If they still don't agree to allowing me freedom, then I always have my grandparents to help me out" Kyungsoo replied. 

"Or you can just stay here with me, I'd be lonely if these fools left me" Yixing added and laughed when he heard protests being thrown at him. Finally things were beginning to go back to what they were originally.

"That was impressive" Kyungsoo heard a voice say, looking up to find Jongin leaning against the door frame 
"I was tired of everyone being down and quiet. I wanted the atmosphere to be lively again" Kyungsoo replied as Jongin nodded his head and kicked himself away from the frame. 

"And what about someone who never got to finish school? Never did his exams? Fully relies on Joonmyun and others to help him out? Is there hope for him in this world?" he asked walking over to Kyungsoo and sitting next to him on his bed 
"I dont see why not. The possibilities are vast and I don't see why you shouldn't be able to make your life better. Educated or not" Kyungsoo replied. 

"You really think so?" Jongin asked and Kyungsoo nodded his head 
"I don't see why that shouldn't be the case" he replied and watched as Jongin smiled, turning to him. 

"There's something about you Do Kyungsoo" he began slowly running his fingers through Kyungsoo's hair and making the guy freeze, his heart beating erratically 
"I don't know what it is. There's just something about you that makes you so" but he didn't finish his sentence. Instead he shrugged his shoulders, ruffled Kyungsoo's hair and exited the room. 

What the heck? 

Why did he do that? 

Why was Kyungsoo's heart beating so erratically? Why was he blushing?

"Sehun" said Kris, calling him over and pulling him into his bedroom, Yixing and Tao watching with a frown as Sehun was pulled away and out of sight from everyone else. 

"You called?" Sehun asked when Kris let go of him 
"I have a feeling I know who it is. The mole" Kris replied and Sehun nothing but nod 
"Is it who I originally thought it was?" he asked and it was Kris' turn to nod before sighing. 

"For a while now I always tried to deny it... but now it just... it seems so obvious" he said 
"What do we do now?" Sehun asked and a good question it was. 

What would they do now? 

Ooooooo!! 

Disclaimer; the beginning of the last chapter where Tao stopped Kris from leaving, I would like to point out that it was no way influenced by the current situation at hand. I read comments from people saying it reminded them of it and I'm here like "No!!" D: The chapter and every chapter I've written so far and afterwards was planned before the whole situation right now. Okay... cool... 

Whilst writing a certain part to this chapter, the perfect song came up which I think will fit perfectly for a future chapter. What is it? Well... you'll have to wait :P 

And this chapter kind of reminded me of this; 

In fact I was watching this when the inspiration for this chapter popped into my mind. Gotta love Disney!
