Chapter 7.- Arranging chords

“It seems like that” she said plainly and broke the eye contact.

 “I must go upstairs, are you coming or not?” she said trying to be distant. He is still the rude boy, having been nice for just half an hour doesn’t prove anything.

“I thought you didn’t mind” he said realizing that something on her was still wrong.

“And I don’t” she said standing up and taking the tray.

“I will do it” Kai said standing up fast and holding the tray too.

“I can do it” she said pulling the tray

“You are still weak, I will do it” he said again looking at her in the eyes.

“Whatever” she said letting him take it. She didn’t wait for him, she just walked away. He had to run a bit for reaching her at the elevator. The doors almost closed before he could enter.

“Hey…” he said breathing hardly “Why are you like this now…?”

“Like what?” she said without even looking at him but straight to the elevator’s doors.

“Like this… distant, serious!” he said “Rude! That is the right word, rude!” he nodded.

She glared at him. “You started the game, remember?” the elevator’s doors opened. She went out.

It took a few seconds for him to react. “Hey, wait!” he reached her and hold her wrist, so she turned around

“What?” she said with irritation on her eyes

“Alright, I’m.. I…” he was looking at the floor. “I am sorry for being this rude”

“Good to know” she said turning her face to her right side. Is he being polite for once?

“Eunah, I did it wrong, ok? Can we start again?” he tilted his head.

We are going to spend time together from now on, so it will be better to agree

“Ok” she nodded looking at him

“Good” he smiled

“Can you let my wrist go?” she said raising an eyebrow.

He didn’t want to, but he did it.

“Thanks” she said and turned around, heading to the music room.

Even being angry, she looks cute he thought without moving from his place as he saw Eunah entering the room.

“Fiiiiiiinally” Soneul sang.

“Finally what?” she said plainly

“Somebody is not having a good day?” Soomi said playfully.

The four girls were around a piano, and Hyora was playing it for leading the vocals.

“Eunah, can you play it? I’m not sure of some of the chords” Hyora asked

“Sure” she said approaching the members.

Eunah left the door opened, so Kai came inside.

“Annyeong” he bowed to the girls

“Oppa!” Soneul flipped the chair and went almost running to him.

“Hi noona!” he hugged her. “Have you been working hard?” he said approaching the piano.

“Yep, very” Soomi nodded.

“I hope my presence doesn’t bother you girls” Kai asked looking at the girls.

“No, Jinsoo said that you would come later” Hyora said.

“Have you finished greeting, talking and having fun? We have many things to do” Eunah said looking at Hyora and Soneul, but avoiding eye contact with Kai.

“Unnie, keep it cool” Soomi slapped her arm lightly.

“Ok, let’s start” Hyora said.

Kai sat down on a chair and enjoyed looking at
