Spy me
Heart of Jealousy
Chapter 2.- Spy me
It was really early when Eunah woke up. She was still in the couch but she had half slipped to the floor during the night, so she was in a very uncomfortable position and her neck was hurting harshly. She badly needed a bath to relax her body after the far from perfect night she had had.
After taking a short shower she went out, ready to head to the practice room, when she met Hyora in the corridor.
“Where are you going so early?” Hyora asked with her eyes half closed because of being half asleep.
“To the practice room. I need to practice the vocals for our single,” Eunah said.
“Have you already had breakfast?” Hyora narrowed her eyes at the younger, suspecting that she hadn’t.
“Well, not yet, but…”
“No way, at least eat something before leaving,” Hyora said with her eyes a bit more opened. “You should take your health as something serious.” She looked a bit worried.
“Okay, I’ll take something to eat on the way there. Is that okay?” she half smiled. “Thanks for looking after me”
“You are not a child anymore. I shouldn’t be taking care of you so badly” Hyora said as she went to the bathroom and closed the door behind her.
Ahh, it is for the group’s welfare, doesn’t she realize? Eunah asked herself on her mind. She stepped to the kitchen, took an apple and a bottle of water and went out of the dorm.
During the walk to the subway she wore her headphones with the music as loud as they allowed and ate her apple. Soon she arrived to the SM building, took her headphones off and went inside.
“Good morning, Yongwoo,” she said to the doorman while bowing a bit.
“Good morning, Miss.” He bowed too and let her pass through the door while opening it.
She reached the lift with the doors of it opened, so she came inside.
This time she was going to the music room as she wanted to try her vocals and needed a piano to practice. She pressed the button with the number two written on it.
As she went out of the lift, she could hear some noises. This floor is noisier than the one where I always stay, she thought.
She went to the music room which was at the middle of the corridor between various rooms.
Eunah came inside, locked the door, left her handbag on a chair next to the window and took a look outside. Spring was coming. It wasn’t as cold as a few weeks ago. Huh, I miss the warm weather from Spain, she thought.
She took her sheet music and stepped to the piano. She turned it on. By the simple touch of the keys, she felt warmer. It was undeniable how much she loves music and that was a good thing since she is talented. She was accepted on the SM as a trainee even if she couldn’t talk in fluent Korean; not accepting her would have meant missing out a very talented person with such powerful singing skills.
I still don’t get the point of all these music sheet. She had never studied music or gone to music classes. She had just learnt at her school when she was a teenager despite the fact that she started learning how to play by her own but had never read any music sheet. Ever since she was a trainee she took piano classes, but those sheets were too much for her. How is it possible that I still can’t play them properly after practicing them for a whole month?
Eunah started to play the piano. It sounded soft and warm. Once she felt comfortable, she started singing. She was pr
