Chapter 9.- A big surprise

Everybody was at the practice room: all the F(x) members, Taemin, some of SNSD and all EXO.

“She’s coming” Soomi said as she went inside the room running.

“Alright, let’s do it as we planned it” Hyora said.

Soneul opened the door slowly, she wasn’t in a good mood and it was understandable: receiving a talk from your manager and having to spend the day practicing on your birthday could annoy anyone.

“Surprise!!” everybody scream and threw confetti to the air.

Soneul’s face changed from annoyed to surprised and then happy.

“What the…”

“Our dear maknae…!” Hyora said hugging her.

“Have you prepared all this for me?” she said with crying eyes.

“Yes, G5 loves you” Soomi said. The five members hugged.

“You must blow your candles” Eunah said holding her wrist and walking to the table where the cake was.

“Happy birthday to you…” they all started singing. Soneul was crying. She has passed through very difficult times since she was a trainee, but being about to debut and having found the best four friends ever made this birthday the most special. Furthermore, a cake, friends, a party…! That was too much, she couldn’t be happier.

“Make a wish” Hara said clapping her hands.

I wish that our debut comes soon and that we all stay healthy this year.

Soneul blew her candles followed by applauses.

“Now let’s have fun!” she said.

The girls were having a nice time. Soneul was next to the music player talking with the SNSD girls; Soomi was eating, as you could imagine, sitting next to the table where the food was; Hara was playing with the ballons with the F(x) members; and Hyora was playing computer games with some EXO member.

Eunah was sat down, looking at everybody have fun.

Kai came where she was and also sat down next to her.

“Hey” he said with a slight smile.

“Hey” she said too, smiling.

“Are you having fun?” he asked watching at the screen.

“Actually not too much” she laughed.

“Have you already eaten something?” he asked.

“Yep!” she said palming her belly.

“And cake?” he asked pointing at the cake.

“Not yet” she said.

He stood up and took a piece of cake on a dish and one spoon. He came back to the couch where she was.

He ate a piece of cake. “Do you want some?” he asked. His intention was no other than approaching her and trying to get closer to the girl.

“But there is only one spoon…” she said looking at the cake. In fact, she wanted to eat some, but she felt uncomfortable.

“It’s ok, let me feed you” he said putting his arm behind her shoulders.
