Onew's POV

"Tell me something about Soo Hee, won't you?" 

I bumped into Minho this morning while I was buying something from the bookstore. We had a little talk about school and stuffs and it eventually led to him and Soo Hee.

"You should find out for your self you know!" I said, jokingly.

"I guess your right!" He said, avoiding argument. "Have you ever felt you want to..."

"Hmm?" I waited.

"to make someone really really REALLY happy?" He continued.

He seems really quiet when I see him in school, always looking at Soo Hee, always staring at her beauty. I realized that long before he confessed to her and so I wanted to stop everything before it even started. I didn't want Soo Hee to get hurt even before it happens. But I failed. And now, they're serious. But Soo Hee said she wants to be happy. And I guess this will make her happy.

"Of course, I have." 

"Oh yeah. I've heard you have a girlfriend!"

Min Jee.....

"Yes I do."

"I don't know if I have to say this but..." He paused, taking a deep breath. "I really envy you. You've been with Soo Hee for so long and you've known her ever since. I wish I was with her that long too."

I didn't respond. I didn't know what to say. This guys is really something! He's so in love! 

"I really want to make her happy. The happiest in the world." Minho said. There is a faint sign of sadness in his voice, as if he wasn't sure if he could do anything about it.

You can make me happy. You really can....

I heard Soo Hee's voice echo in my head. She did say I can make her happy. I felt a sudden happiness in me, as if I won this battle. I am the one she wants. Not this guy. How pitiful.

"When she kissed me, everything felt real, you know" 

WAIT. WHAT? THEY KISSED?!

"It made me even more determined to be the best boyfriend in the world!" He bragged. 

"So you kissed, huh?" I asked, sounding sarcastic.

"Yes. And I know it doesn't even matter to you or I shouldn't bother you with these but I've always wanted to ask you this."

"Yeah?"

"Will you let me be her boyfriend?"

"What? Why are you asking me that?"

"Because you like her, Onew."
