Onew's POV

I dialed her number, impatiently waiting for her to answer my call.

"Yah, Min Jee, tonight's dinner. You ready? I'll fetch you in 10 minutes."

"Oppa! I'm still not ready yet. I have to get my make up done!" 

"What? Why? How long does it take for you to get ready?" Girls! What takes the so long to get ready? Even when they go to the bathroom, it takes a lot of time. You just pee inside the comfort room. It is not like you're watching TV there! It's only 5 minutes!

"You told me to dress properly and look nice. You told me we'll meet your friends tonight! I have to look presentable you know!" She sounded as if it was all my fault.

"Alright. Alright. I'll park my car outside your house and wait there. Just don't over do it, okay."

"Thanks oppa! Love you!"

Min Jee went outside her house 30 minutes after I called her. She went inside the car and strapped her seat belt on. "Let's go!" she said, excitedly. 

There was an awkward silence while I was driving. I didn't talk, so did she. I don't know if I should say something or what. All i know is, it seemed really awkward.

"Oppa. I want to ask you something."

"What is it?" I looked slightly at her, then to the road again.

"Are you doing this for someone?"

"Doing what?" I didn't know what she really meant.

"Come on, oppa. You know what I mean!" She was annoyed at me because I didn't know what she meant. But really she hasn't said anything about what she meant.

"Really, now. What do you mean?" 

"I just think you are..." She looked down.

"Hmm?"

"You are doing this for someone." 

"Can you please specify what you mean by 'this'?" 

"If you like someone else, oppa, you should be with that person, you know!" She blurted out, like a teacher giving lectures.

"You didn't answer my question." 

"I was the first one who asked something here and you didn't answer that!"

"Because I didn't know what you meant." Really, what does she mean?

"If you like her, you should be with her!"

"And what if I like you?" I smirked.

"Oppa!!" She blushed and hid her face in her hands. I looked at her partially. She was smiling. 

"Let's just enjoy the dinner, okay? We are almost there."

I turned the car on the next corner and when I saw the restaurant they were in, parked the car on the parking lot. I went down first to opened the door and helped her get down the car. I placed my arm on her shoulders and kissed her on the forehead. We walked towards the entrance and she placed her arm around my waist.

"This is going to be a wonderful night, Min Jee." I could feel myself smiling widely. I bet it would a long, wonderful night.
