I’m so lonely… Baekhyun thought as he scooped one spoon strawberry ice cream into his mouth. No one wants to hang out with me. He mentally sobbed. He was sitting on Swensen, eating ice cream all alone. The other boys were too busy finshing all their school homeworks. Baekhyun, who had already finished his for a long time ago, huffed before he scooped another spoon of strawberry ice cream into his mouth. With the spoon still in his mouth, he fished up Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets. "Let's see where was I? Oh yeah, page 394." he muttered before he started to read.

After a few minutes Baekhyun got disturbed by a few giggles from three females that sat a few tables to the left from him. They were staring at him and giggling with each other. They seemed to be in the same age as himself- or they may not be in the same age as Baekhyun(he didn’t wanted to be rude), but with their heavy make up on their faces, they looked like clownes with wrinkles. Baekhyun decided to ignore them and continue read his lovely book. When he heard one of the girls walk to him, he quickly got up from his seat and walked away with his gaze still on the book. He heard that the girl tried to call for him but he didn’t turn around. Infront of him walked one of the workers, holding onto an empty tray. Suddenly the worker slipped on a banana peel-

Yes, you read that right. The clumsy worker slipped on a banana peel.

-and fell backwards. Baekhyun dropped his book and catched the worker into his arms before he could reach the ground. The tray landed on the ground with a loud thud. Everyone was staring at Baekhyun and the almost fallen worker. The worker had his eyes clenshed shut, then he slowly opened and stared into Baekhyun’s eyes. “Baekhyun?” the worker blinked his eyes.

Baekhyun blinked his eyes. “...Chanyeol?” he tilted his head.

Chanyeol widened his eyes and quickly straighten himself. “I’m sorry.” he bowed to everyone and Baekhyun. He picked up the tray and the book from the ground. “Thank you.” Chanyeol smiled and handed him the book. Baekhyun only stared at him without saying anything. “Hey, are you heading home? I just finished my shift, maybe we can take the bus together home to the village.” he smiled. Baekhyun slowly nodded his head, still staring at Chanyeol. “Great! You can wait here while I head to the locker room for workers and change my clothes.” he then speeded away.

Baekhyun blinked slowly, trying to register what just happened. Why did his mind went blank in the moment when his eyes met Chanyeol’s? Confusion rose withing him. He shook his head and sat down on a nearby chair. Now he had to wait for the giant elf to change his clothes.

It was dark outside when Baekhyun and Chanyeol was waiting for the bus to come at the bus stop. And it was silence between them. Baekhyun shifted his weight on his legs, feeling slightly uncomfortable. He glanced up at Chanyeol and saw that the taller boy was staring straight ahead in daze. Chanyeol noticed that someone was staring at him, he looked over to Baekhyun as the shorter boy quickly turned his head away. Chanyeol checked the time on his phone, “The bus will come soon.” he told.

Baekhyun nodded his head. “Yeah.”

Once again silence.

Chanyeol cleared his throat. “Thank you.” Baekhyun looked at him, confused. “Thank you for saving my life, literally. You saved me from getting my head smashed on the ground. If you weren’t there then I would surely get concussion, maybe brain damage and in the worst case; I would have died.” he gasped.

Baekhyun couldn’t help but chuckle. “I imagine myself read the news paper’s headline ‘Boy killed by the floor’.” he chuckled more.

The younger boy nodded his head. “Who was this master mind behind this murder? A banana peel.” he said with a low tone. Both looked at each other before they laughed. Baekhyun realised that Chanyeol wasn’t that awkward and boring like he thought he was. A pair of light came into their vision and they saw the bus driving towards them. Aw, man. When things become fun the bus will of course come and ruin it. Baekhyun mentally pouted. He stepped into the bus but turned around when he noticed that Chanyeol wasn’t behind him.

“I live in a different area of the village and there’s only one bus that goes there.” he explained. Baekhyun’s mouth shaped like ‘o’. “Hand over your phone.” he raised his hand and looked straight into his eyes. Without questioning and thinking he gave his phone to Chanyeol who began to tap on it. In the next second a beep sound came from Chanyeol’s phone before he handed him back his phone. Chanyeol smiled and waved. “We talk soon.” he said before the doors to the bus closed.

Baekhyun hurried to get to his seat after he paid his ticket and sat down on a seat beside the window. His phone buzzed and he looked down and saw an unknown number display.

He chuckled when he realised who the text came from.

Baekhyun smiled. That Giant elf was a lot better than he thought. That guy was funny. He couldn’t help but smile whenever he heard his phone buzz on the way home. And he fell asleep with a smile on his face.

He didn’t know that Chanyeol did the same.

I'm very tired after a big test in school but I tried my best to be creative and I'm really sorry for grammar and mispelling mistakes. I will update the rest of the OTP's whenever I have time.
