It was a normal school day. Well, it could have been counted as normal if it wasn’t because of all the hearts that was glued everywhere from love sick girls. Maybe you wonder why they glued hearts on the walls, roofs, floors and toilet seats. It’s because it’s Valentine’s day. A day full of roses and chocolates given from people who are in love. It’s actually a happy day for some people, but not for everyone.

Baekhyun sniffed in the air. “I can smell the roses I’m not going to receive, and the chocolates I’m going to buy cheap tomorrow.” he said.

“Don’t be so negative.” Lay frowned. “Haven’t you seen the girls who been looking at you? I’m sure at least one of them will ask you out or give you flowers.”

Baekhyun rose an eyebrow at him. "You're positive just because Suho gave you twenty roses." he pointed his index finger at the bunch of roses that Lay held with his arms. "That must have been expensive..." he muttered as he eyed the roses.

"He's one of the richest students in this school." Jongdae shrugged casually like it was normal to know that. "I wouldn't be surprised if he gave Lay hyung a couple ring and heart shaped chocolates."

Lay's face started to redden. "He wouldn't do that."

"Not yet." Jongdae and Baekhyun wiggled their eyebrows at him as they smiled.

"Wait a minute." Kris blurted out that made the boys look at him while he stared at Lay. "Are you and Suho a couple?" he asked. Everyone stared at Lay with wide eyes. The little unicorn’s face was now red.

Luhan swung his arm around Lay’s shoulders. “Yixing.” he said Lay’s real name with a calm and smooth voice. Lay stiffened when Luhan smiled at him with a sweet smile. He knew that he was up to something that wasn’t as sweet as his smile. “We both have agreed on that we will tell each other everything, exactly everything, hm?" Luhan tightened his hug around Lay. "Is it true that you're a couple? Hmmm?" he gave Lay the tell-me-the-truth-or-I'll-hunt-the-rich-guy-and-hang-him-upside-down look with widened eyes. The rest slowly backed away from Luhan. They didn’t want to be close to him when he was mad as hell grumpy.

Lay gulped at the stares he recieved before he slowly nodded. "Yes." he quickly covered his ear when the boys around him gasped and let out shrieks. “We’ve been together since the day we played Snow White.” explained Lay with his hands still covering his ears. Another gasps and shrieks came from the boys.

“You traitor! You betrayed me!” Baekhyun cried and pointed at Lay. “Jooongdaaeeee~!” Baekhyun was going in for a hug but Jongdae stopped him by placing his hand on his face.

“Oh shut up, Baek.” Jongdae rolled his eyes and pushed away Baekhyun. “Besides, I already have someone.” he said and crossed his arms over his chest.

“It’s Xiumin, right?” Kris asked.

Jongdae nodded with a smile on his face. “But he doesn’t know it yet.” he cackled while everyone rolled their eyes.

“Are everyone coming out that they’re dating now? Then I wouldn’t be surprised if Luhan was Sehun’s boyfriend.” said Kris.

Luhan almost released his hug around Lay to beat up the giant for saying such an insult, but he sucessfully suppressed the urge to do so. “Don’t be silly now. I’m straight as Jongdae’s eyebrows.” he said with a slightly annoyed tone. “We need to discuss more later.” he told Lay before he took away his arm.

“Hey!” Jongdae frowned slightly when he finally understood what Luhan meant about his eyebrows. “They’re not that straight.” he his eyebrows.

“Yes they are.” Baekhyun agreed with Luhan. He then on Jongdae’s left eyebrow. “Do you pluck your eyebrows? Dang they’re straight and well plucked.” Jongdae shook his head and slapped Baekhyun’s hand away. “Stop bullying my eyebrows.” he muttered with a pout.

“Take it as a compliment.” Luhan said and grinned when Jongdae pouted more.

“Since it’s Valentine’s day…” said Lay slowly out of sudden. “why don’t you take the chance, Kris hyung?”

Kris looked at him in confusion. Lay wiggled his eyebrows and then Kris’s mouth formed like an ‘o’ when he understood what he meant. “Yeah.” Kris nodded. “Or maybe next time.”

“Nope. This is your chance and we will make sure that you get it.” said Jongdae and grabbed Kris’s left arm while Lay grabbed the other.

“Wait a minute.” Kris eyes shot up when he realized what they were up to. “Help me!” he pleaded to Baekhyun and Luhan before they dragged him away.

“Don’t be such a sissy and be a man, Krissy.” Jongdae grinned.

“Let’s go!” Lay pumped his fist in the air.

“HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP~!!!!”

This is it. Today will be the day when Kris finally tell Tao about his feelings after crushing on him for years.(It was actually for almost one year but I wanted to be a little dramatic now) Kris was standing behind a pillar, looking at Tao who was chatting with Suho and Xiumin a few meters away. Lay told him to go and take him to the always empty classroom before he confess to him. It sounded easy but now when his crush was right infront of him, he couldn’t move. Was he ready? Was he ready to let him know about his feelings? He didn’t know but he was sure that if he didn’t tell him soon he will explode of feelings. Kris saw Lay and Jongdae approach them, just what they had planned to do, and then they walked away with Suho and Xiumin, leaving Tao all alone. Kris took a deep breath, trying to calm down his beating heart, this was his chance. He walked towards Tao and smiled when the black haired boy noticed him coming closer. He waved his hand, motioning for Tao to come to him.

“I have something to say. It’s important.” Kris said when Tao walked to him.

“Alright.” Tao nodded, he wondered what he wanted to tell him.

“Can we talk in privacy?” asked Kris. “I don’t want anyone to hear us talking.” he explained.

“Sure, my hyungs left me all alone when your friends came.” Tao chuckled when he thought of Xiumin’s annoyed expression when he saw Jongdae approach them.

They walked to the side of the school where there wasn’t so many students. Kris led Tao to a hallway where there wasn’t any students to be seen. He decided not to go into an empty classroom since they were alone. Tao waited for Kris to talk first. He noticed that he looked nervous and shy. When they standed there in silence Tao decided to speak up.

“What do you want to tell me?” asked Tao.

“Erm…” Kris looked at him as he scratched his neck. “Eu… Ah… I-I-I uhm…” stuttered Kris. Dangit! Pull yourself together!, he scolded himself. This was harder than he thought it would be. He bit his bottom lip. Tao was standing infront of him and here he was looking like a fool. “I wanted to tell you this for a long time now.” said Kris. Good beginning, he mentally praised himself. “I don’t know how to say this…” he continued.

“It’s alright, ge.” Tao laid his hand on his shoulder. “You can tell me everything. I won’t judge you.”

“I-I…” stuttered Kris. “I…”

“Say it, say it out loud.”

“I’m from Canada.” said Kris with a straight face.

“Really?” Tao rose his eyebrows in surprise. “I didn’t know that.” he blinked his eyes. He chuckled. “I thought that you were going to say that your eyebrows were fake.” he shook his head at his ridicules thought.

“My eyebrows are not fake.” Kris blinked his eyes. “But I was not going to say that I’m from Canada.”

“Then what do you want to tell me?” asked Tao.

Kris took a deep breath. He’s gonna tell him now. “Tao, I…” he fidget a little where he standed. He sighed. It was time for him to know about his feelings. “I like you.” He released the bomb of his feelings for him. “I have liked you since the day I first laid my eyes on you, which was the day when you transferred to this school. And ever since then I couldn’t stop looking at you. I guess I can say that it was love at first sight. Every time I got the chance to talk to you and be with you, it was the happiest moments in my life.” Kris said with a calm and steady voice. He knew he was cheesy but this was how he expressed his feelings.

Tao was silent for a long time after he was done telling him. He stared into Kris’s eyes with an unreadable face, not knowing if he was joking or not. He knew deep down that Kris was serious but there were still a small part of him that thought it was all a joke.

“I understand if you don’t feel the same way as I do but I wanted you to know how I feel because you’re the cause of it. That was all I wanted to say.” Kris said with a low voice, almost like a whisper. He felt rejected when he saw Tao’s unreadable expression. The thought of Tao avoiding him struck him. It tugged his heart to think that but he knew that everything was done. He confessed to him and now maybe Tao hate him for that. “I will go now.” whispered Kris and slowly walked past the shocked panda who continued to stare at the spot where Kris left.

When Kris was five steps behind him, Tao turned around. “Kris ge, wait.” he said and Kris halted his steps with his back facing the younger boy. Tear was slowly blurring his eyes and he didn’t want Tao to see that. Tao walked up to him and gave him a back hug. Kris widened his eyes but he still didn’t turn around. “I like you too.” Tao said with a small voice. Kris’s heart fluttered when he said that sentence. He liked him? “At first I didn’t like you because you made my hair and shirt wet.” Tao chuckled at their first meeting. “But after that time you slowly interacted more and more into my life. You became a part of it. And then you got my heart. I don’t know when you captured my heart, maybe it was the time when you turned everyone in our chemistry class into smurfs, or maybe the time when we spyed on Suho ge and Lay ge at the mall.” he smiled. “I really like you.” he repeated his words.

“Tao…” Kris turned around so he faced the younger boy. Tao was staring into his eyes. Kris raised his hands and cupped Tao’s face.

“Kris ge…” whispered Tao as Kris slowly leaned in. The distance between their lips decreased slowly and Kris closed the distance when he couldn’t wait any longer to feel the younger’s lips on his.

“Oh. My. God.” someone gasped behind a corner as he stared at the lovely scene that was going on infront of him. “They finally kissed!”

“Shut up, Jongdae.” The person behind Jongdae hissed. He didn’t wanted to be seen by Tao or Kris.

“Don’t be rude, Xiumin hyung!” Suho frowned at him.

“That’s alright, Jongdae doesn’t care.” Lay said and patted him on his shoulder.

“TIHIHIHI! I took a picture of them on Snapchat! Wait till I send this to Baek, he will go crazy when he see this.” Jongdae saved the picture he took of Kris and Tao before he sent it. The other rolled their eyes at his behaviour.

“I’m so proud of Kris hyung.” said Lay and smiled. “He finally became a man.” he patted his chest in a proud manner.

“My son is growing up fast.” Suho wiped away a fake tear. He was really proud of Tao. “Shall we take a drink? My treat.” Suho grabbed Lay’s hand when Lay nodded and then they walked away to the cafeteria.

“Okay, it’s enough. Stop taking pictures of them, gosh, let them have their privacy!” Xiumin shoved Jongdae back behind the corner so he couldn’t take more pictures.

Jongdae was grinning as he looked through the pictures he captured. When he looked up he saw Xiumin staring at him with furrowed eyebrows. “You look so cute when you’re mad.” he blurted out. That caught the older boy off guard. “It’s Valentine’s day,” said Jongdae as he leaned closer towards Xiumin. The bun backed away till he hit the wall with his back. Jongdae placed both of his hands beside Xiumin’s head so he couldn’t escape. “will you be my Valentine?” asked Jongdae.

“No.” said Xiumin with a straight face.

Jongdae chuckled as he continued to lean in. “I thought you would say that. Too bad I want to be yours.” he whispered. Xiumin didn’t knew what to do. Should he let him get closer to him or kick his jewels? He really wanted to kick him but his body didn’t want to move at all. Then out of sudden, Jongdae pecked his lips and smiled. “Happy Valentine’s day.” he sang before he ran away. Xiumin stood frozen against the wall. What just happened? Did he just… kiss him? Xiumin touched his lips. Damn you, you camel eyed bastard! He took his first kiss! That mofo! A part of him wanted to strangle him, the other part liked that kiss. But Xiumin liked the part of strangling him more.

“Kim ing Jongdae.” Xiumin breathed. “I’m gonna hug you with my hands around your neck!” he hissed before he ran after the troller.

On this story I mainly focused on the three ships: Taoris (of course), Xiuchen and Sulay. Mostly Taoris and Xiuchen because they were more fun to write. If there are any ships you want to read more like Kaisoo, Hunhan, Baekyeol or maybe more Sulay, let me know. I'll maybe write special chapters (or one-shots) with those ships if I have time.

Aaaaand I literally cringed when I wrote the Taoris kiss scene. I'm so awkward with the lovey-dovey couple stuff. But I hope it was at least okay xD I'm sorry if it was bad.

Right now I think I will try to re-editing this story, like correcting all spelling and grammar mistakes from earlier chapters, and maybe add more words into it. I've tried to read all the chapters but I cringed at the spellings and grammar. I began to write this story for more than a year ago, so my english have got more better through the time. I will do my best to correct everything.
