CHAPTER 9

I WANT TO SEE HER

“I want to see her.” Said the head

“She doesn’t know her Demon Blood yet.” Said In-Sung

“I said I want to see her In-sung.” Said the head

“And what if you saw her? What will you tell her?” asked In-sung

“I spent my shining years hunting that clan, In-sung. You know that!” said the head “I want to see her.”

“We can’t let any of our family go near her… Until we find out why she’s different, we have to stop her blood from wakening.” Said In-sung

Hye Kyo took a deep breath.

“How is Minho taking this?” asked the head

“I think he’s intrigued.” Said In-sung.

“I agree, In-sung…nobody outside your branch can know this yet.” said the head “They will all treat her as the biggest threat to our family.”

“I know.” Said In-sung

“And if that happens….you know I can’t side with your branch against the entire family.” Said the head

In-sung took a deep breath.

“I know.” Said In-sung.

“I promise to be very careful…so prepare a meeting between me and the girl.” Said the head.

“You will still have it your way, huh?” asked In-sung

“That’s the benefit of being the head. You still have a chance to be the head if you want to.” Said the head.

In-sung just smiled.

“Then I’ll keep it for now.” Said the head.

Minho entered the room…it was dark…but he can see well…

He took several steps to the bed and saw the woman’s sleeping form.

The smell of a flower bud…

Minho checked the woman’s pulse… it’s normal… it seems she’s better.

Minho noticed the woman’s shirt reaching her flat stomach. He touched the skin looking for the wound. And then he saw the gauze…he opened it to check…and then his eyes narrowed.

The wound…has disappeared…completely…

Even with the blessed water…it was not meant to heal a human this fast. Can it be the demon blood in her?

Minho pulled Sulli’s shirt down and lifted her blanket up her chin.

“I know there’s something different about you….whatever it is…I won’t let you die until I find out.” Said Minho

“What…is this?” asked Vic

It was the blood stained clothes Sulli worn the other day. She secretly washed it…but since she’s not good at washing clothes….she wasn’t able to get the stains out…the thing is…it has that terrible hole at the back and front.

“What is this?” Vic repeated

“A dirty dress.” Said Sulli

“I know it’s dirty…” said Vic

“And torn.” Said Sulli

“Yup, I see that too.” Said Vic

Sulli stood up to go to the bathroom.

“But the more important question is…how did it end up this way?” asked Vic

Sulli closed her eyes

“The guards said somebody took you away…we put a red alert on…and then you suddenly appeared in the house calling the search off.” Said Vic “But then I saw this dress.”

“I was in an accident.” Said Sulli. It’s not good to lie to Vic…but she can’t say a Demon attacked her right? “It’s a minor accident.”

“With this much blood?” asked Vic

“Umm…most of it wasn’t mine. Oh, Vic I was so traumatized that I don’t want to recall it anymore…” said Sulli “so…can we…please not talk about it?”

Vic’s eyes narrowed.

“Dad is coming home later today.” Said Vic
