CHAPTER 19

ENOUGH!

Sulli entered the chartered plane, relaxing herself. And then she felt a presence.

“Are you ready?” asked Heechul

“Yeah. It’s been so long since I last went to the beach.” Said Sulli

“And not just an ordinary beach. I prepared us…an island.” Said Heechul

“Does the pilot know?” asked Sulli

“Of course he does. The pilot has been there a couple of times.” Said Heechul

“He…does?” asked Sulli “You know the pilot?”

Heechul smirked.

“Better than most people.” Said Heechul “Hey captain! Introduce yourself please to the young lady.”

The pilot then turned his head to face Sulli and Heechul.

The pilot…is none other than…MINHO.

“Min…ho…is our pilot? But…how can that be…can you really fly a plane?” asked Sulli

What does this woman think he spent his centuries doing? Just hunting day and night?

“I studied a lot of things in the past. Flying is one of them.” Said Minho still with his cold expression…showing an ID that he’s licenced.

“You too?” asked Sulli

“Yeah…Insung, Minho and I pretty much studied survival skills a lot…we drive…we fly…we can navigate ships…pretty much everything in terms of transportation.” Said Heechul

“Wow…that will take years to learn.” Said Sulli

“How old do you think we are?” asked Heechul “We are hunters, Sulli…we are not ordinary humans. We are more than what your eyes can see.” Whispered Heechul close to Sulli’s ears.

It sent a different feeling to Sulli and Minho saw that. The way Sulli’s eyes fought from closing as Heechul whispered to her ear…that made Minho’s blood start boiling.

“So…how old are you…exactly?” asked Sulli

Heechul chuckled.

“Can you guess?” asked Heechul

“25? But you said you studied all those stuff….so you are probably older…30? Surely not 40!” said Sulli

Minho looked at the mirror where he could see his back. Sulli and Heechul are talking enthusiastically about age guessing. It’s so irritating.

Heechul laughed. “Keep guessing.”

Heechul then leaned his face near Sulli’s again whispering something that Minho can actually hear.

“I am older than some of your Antiques at home, Sulli.” Said Heechul

“No…way.” Said Sulli…the youngest of her Antiques….is probably 80 years old.

Sulli’s thought immediately went to Minho…so Minho he…Sulli looked at the pilot seat and saw Minho looking at her through the mirror. She immediately looked away…he was looking at her…that made Sulli’s heart skip a beat.

“I actually could no longer recall when I was born. It has been a long time. But I can tell you that I’ve already seen several wars. Wars are the hardest for hunters. That’s when massive demons appear.” Said Heechul “That’s the time when Hunters could not get sleep because demons attack every minute of everyday.”

Sulli nodded.

“So how do demons appear? Are they born demons?” asked Sulli

Heechul bit his tongue. He immediately looked at Minho. And though Heechul can only see Minho’s eyes from where he was sitting, Heechul could see the anger in them…telling him that he should have just shut his mouth.

“That’s a very long and complicated process to discuss.” Said Heechul “About the island we’re going…” Heechul hopes his diversion will work.

“It’s a real beauty. It’s the best island you can ever go to. It’s still untouched….I mean it’s really natural….no developments except for the house we’ve built there.” Said Heechul

“You’ve built?” asked Sulli.

Here goes his mouth again.

“Yeah…I haven’t told you we also know a lot about carpentry?” asked Heechul “Well…we do.”

“Wow…you guys…are so great…I mean…I thought at first you were just a bunch of good looking men who runs a bogus antique shop. But you’re right…you three are definitely more than what the eyes can see.” Said Sulli amazed.

Heechul nodded in satisfaction.

“So…how does a demon get born?” asked Sulli

“I’m really curious…I want to know.” Said Sulli

“Umm…demon’s birth is not my specialty Sulli. Demon’s death IS my specialty. I’m a hunter you know.” Said Heechul

And then Heechul whispered at Sulli. “Maybe you can ask Minho once you get the chance to talk to him. He knows more about demon’s birth than I do.”

“Shut your mouth, Heechul.” Said Minho irritated.

He heard that?! Sulli’s eyes widened.

Heechul chuckled. So Minho was listening the entire time.

Sulli woke up on a bed in a very beautiful room filled with white curtains.

What place is this?

Where…am I?

“You’re awake.” Said a familiar man’s voice. Sulli turned around to see Minho…wearing his pilot uniform…entering the room.

“You fell asleep in the plane. We didn’t want to wake you.” Said Minho

“Oh…really.” Said Sulli. Sulli can’t look straight at Minho…he’s just…too handsome…too glowing with that white uniform.

“Where’s Heechul Oppa?” asked Sulli

She just woke up and the first thing she asks…is Heechul…Oppa?!

“Your Heechul Oppa is currently swimming alone. Having fun…on his own.” Said Minho

“Oh really?!” Sulli went to the window pulling the curtains on one side to see the view.

Wow…a paradise…white sand all over…lush greens on the side…wild flowers of intense colors…Just Beautiful…

“It’s a gem isn’t it?” asked Minho standing beside Sulli looking ahead at the view.

Sulli nodded. “It is.”

“At that right side is the best view of the island.” Said Minho

“There by that rock?” asked Sulli

“That high rock gives the best view. I’ll take you there later.” Said Minho

I’ll take you there? Sulli felt a melting feeling inside… Minho said…he’ll take her there…

“So…why did you…really asked Heechul’s help to train you on relationships?” asked Minho

“Huh?”

“I mean …I don’t think there is really a way to prepare for a relationship…you can only learn once you are already in one. Experience is the best teacher.” Said Minho “And Heechul…he has been avoiding women for a lot of years now…he might not be the best person to help you.” Said Minho

Sulli smiled as she looked at the view.

“You seem to know a lot about relationships.” said Sulli. “Did experience teach you a lot?”
