UNCLE

Minho entered the shop with Yuri.

“Ah…Minho…there you are.” Said Hye Kyo “Did Yuri and you have a good stroll around the city? You should have taken your time.”

“It’s a small city.” Said Minho

Hye Kyo looked at Yuri then. It’s obvious that Yuri wasn’t happy of the outcome.

“Oh well…all right, we’ll be back some other time then.” Said Hye Kyo standing up.

“Oh…about the 2nd matter that I came to talk to you about.” Said In-sung

“Yes?” asked Hye Kyo

“The Hyuna branch went here the other day… For some reason, they found our trail…You know how careful we are on cleaning our trail…that’s why in the last place we stayed at…we were undisturbed for almost the entire 10 years we were there…except the last few months…But weird how Hyuna was able to follow us this time.” said Insung

“Hyuna won’t stop until they get Minho from you, Insung. Minho is the ultimate Demon Hunter, everybody knows that.” Said Hye Kyo “For branches like Hyuna’s, their goal is to clean this world of all Demons…They can’t do that until they found a way to kill even those that has sleeping Demon blood… For a Demon free world…they need you Minho.”

“But while you’re staying with Insung, those branches know that you will not use your ability to kill humans with sleeping demon blood… as long as you’re around Insung, they know you will only hunt awakened Demons… For them… that is a waste of gift and chance to finally clean this world.” Said Hye Kyo

“You have to be careful, Insung…Hyuna found you…Wonbin and the monk branch might just be around the corner waiting for their chance to get their hands on your son.” Said Hye Kyo

“I know.” Said Insung “I wanted to let you know that they found us…and that I am not certain I can keep my promise to remain silent…if they ever did anything in our territory.”

Hye Kyo massaged her head.

“Keep me updated regarding that girl. I want to know the slightest developments about her.” Said Hye Kyo

Insung nodded.

And then Hye Kyo and Yuri left.

Minho sat down.

“I think she hasn’t overcome her hatred towards me.” Said Minho

“huh? Hatred? Hye Kyo likes you Minho… She even offered her own niece, Yuri, to be your wife, remember?” asked Insung

 “And she’s still making ways to push it even if I have already said No.” said Minho

 Minho noticed a bag in the corner.

“Isn’t that Sulli’s?” asked Minho

“Ah right…I asked her to have her antiques cleaned up.” Said Insung “It has some Demon aroma.”

“Ahhh so that’s what’s been smelling bad here…I thought you just came from hunting.” Said Minho

“That….and this.” Insung brought out a vase.

Minho felt dizzy all of a sudden…the demon smell from the vase…is just too overpowering.

“I pity your gift, Minho…For me…it’s just a normal closed in demon smell…a bit less foul than usual demons…but from your reaction…I think you can smell  worse.” Said Insung

“Not because it’s too rotten…but because the demon smell has something else blended with it…” said Minho

“Like?” asked Insung

“Like…flower.” Said Minho

“Hmmm… flower again…” Insung knows there’s something fishy with this vase the moment he found it.

“I think it could be a Demon trap.” Said Insung

“It’s a unique Demon from the smell of it.” Said Minho

“The thing is…Demon traps can only be opened depending on why it was closed. There’s usually a curse upon a demon entrapment…if we don’t know the condition of the curse… it would be close to impossible to let the demon go.” Said Insung

“Maybe you just have to wipe it like a Genie from the lamp.” Said Minho “Only that no Genie will come out…only a hunter eating demon might.”

“I actually already tried that before I went back. But…wiping it doesn’t work…talking to it also did not work…” said Insung “Even singing and dancing in front of it doesn’t work.”

“Really? Can you demonstrate?” asked Minho

“I said I already tried it earlier…I have already proven that it’s useless.” Said Insung

Minho had a smirk on his face.

Minho took the bag Sulli left. “I’ll clean them.”

“I thought you hate that task? I usually end up doing the cleaning.” Said Insung

“Ummm….these are not too many…” said Minho “Besides…you’re getting old, Dad.” Said Minho
