CHAPTER 12

CONTROL THE BLOOD

Sulli noticed a familiar set of clothes by the window…That blue shirt and that pants…it looks like…

Is that Minho?!

“Is there a problem?” asked Sulli’s Uncle

“Oh…just a bit tired, Uncle….ummm…do you need help to find what’s missing?” asked Sulli

“No Sulli, I can handle looking for that. Just go ahead and rest all right?” asked Sulli’s Uncle.

“All right, you shouldn’t stay up too late, Uncle.” Said Sulli

“I won’t. I’ll sleep in a while.”

Sulli went out of the office. Her chest felt like a drum….it’s beating so fast at the sight of Minho by the window…

What is he doing here?

Shouldn’t he be spending time with his…fiancée? Sulli closed her eyes and walked towards the stairs…

I should not be affected by his presence…I should not be excited….

Sulli tried to walk normally…she did not hurry….actually…she tried walking as slowly as she can…

If Minho gets impatient and leave…that’s going to be fine.

When Sulli reached her room she took a deep breath…if he has already left…I shouldn’t get disappointed.

She grabbed the door knob and entered her room…It’s dark and only the moon from the window lights the room. She walked towards the window and saw the white curtains being blown by the wind. And then she saw him…Minho…sitting on her window…looking at her…waiting for her.

“You…” said Sulli feeling like something suddenly blocked .

“I know this house is big…But I didn’t know it will take you that long to reach your room.” said Minho

Sulli knew she was slow…but she found a little satisfaction that Minho stayed waiting for her.

“You could have left, you know.” Said Sulli

“Yeah…but I wanted to explain something to you so I waited.” Said Minho

“Explain?” asked Sulli…is he going to tell her what is between him and Yuri.

“This.” Minho opened a bag and brought out all of Sulli’s antiques. “You left it in the shop. I already  cleaned it…well we sort of call it purification…”

Sulli went to look…some of them still has dirt all over.

“Not clean.” Said Sulli

“I took the demon elements out…but they are all still the way they were.” Said Minho

Sulli nodded. “How much do I owe you?”

“The purification is free.” Said Minho

“And the delivery?” asked Sulli

“If you give me something of yours…that will be enough.” Said Minho

“Like?” asked Sulli

Minho looked around the room and then he saw a handkerchief by the table. He took it and put it around his wrist, tying it tight.

“I’ll take this.” Said Minho

“That doesn’t cost much.” Said Sulli

“I wasn’t asking for payment.” Said Minho

Then there was a moment of silence.

“Why were you the one who brought this? I thought you would still be with Yuri by now.” Said Sulli

“Now why would you think that?” asked Minho “Ah…right…that Heechul and his big mouth.”

“Don’t make her misinterpret you by coming here too often.” Said Sulli

Minho’s eyes narrowed.

 “If I were her…I wouldn’t want my man to keep going to another woman’s house.” Said Sulli

Minho took a step forward making Sulli take a step back.

And then Minho received a phone message.

The head is calling for him.

“I need to go.” Said Minho

“All right…” said Sulli looking away…her heart suddenly sinking at the thought that Minho is leaving already.

“You should take better care of your Antiques…they are very fragile.” Said Minho

Sulli took a deep breath as she nodded.

“And I am not Yuri’s man, Sulli.” Said Minho “So don’t go making assumptions.”

Sulli’s eyes widened…her heart quickened.

And then Minho jumped away.

Minho entered Hye Kyo’s office…what could be there to tell him that she wasn’t able to say earlier?

“I’m here.” Said Minho

“Oh, there you are.” Said Hye Kyo

Yuri would normally always be on Hye Kyo’s side… But now she isn’t around…perhaps because she knows Minho is coming…and the conversation they had earlier did not end well.

“If it’s a mission, you could’ve just given me a message.” Said Minho

“You really hate going here, huh?” asked Hye Kyo

“Whenever I go here…it’s always because you want me to do something you don’t want Insung to know... You know how much I hate keeping things from him.” Said Minho

“I promise you that this is for the best.” Said Hye Kyo “Everything for the safety of the family and this world.”

“This sounds like trouble.” Said Minho

“Well actually…it’s a prevention of a possible trouble in the future.” Said Hye Kyo “Sulli.”

Now that got Minho interested.

“What about Sulli?” asked Minho

“We’re not sure yet if she belongs to that strong Demon clan...but we have to stop her from being a demon at all cost…all cost Minho.” Said Hye Kyo “We will do everything to control her.”

“How do you plan to do that?” asked Minho

“You  mean us?” asked Hye Kyo “We’ll s
