Finally.

We have arrived!

I wanted to kiss the floor of the airport lobby when we touched down.

The stewardess on flight announced our arrival in Beijing Airport, and for us to remain seated as the plane touched down and taxied to a halt.

I wanted to jump out of the plane and run home. LOL.

I was really excited to hug my pillows and sleep on my bed. I've missed my bed so much.

I might have shown my excitement too much, for mama held my hand to steady me. I was shifting on my seat, eager to stand up and step out of the plane.

Mama: Xiao Yi.

Me: Duibuqi, ma.

Mama: Wait until the plane has landed.

Me: Yes, ma.

Tao gege was on mama's other side and he leaned on mama's shoulder. 

Tao: Ma, can we go buy ice cream once we land?

Mama: Later, Zitao.

Tao: When we land, okay? Promise?

Mama: Yes.

Tao: Xiexie ni, mama. (And he hugged mama's arm and squeezed it tight)

On my left was Lay gege. He had his headphones on and swiping his phonescreen like crazy. "Where is it...? Dammit.." He kept on saying that until he found what he was looking for. Papa was seated beside the oldies in the rown in front of us. On Tao's other side was Sehun who was staring out the window. The plane just halted. The stewardess now informed for us to fall in line and disembark. The rest of the boys were on the rows behind us. Papa immediately instructed the oldies to help and supervise the younger kids. He himself helped. He led the way out the plane. We were in two lines while going out. Mama and me taking the rear.

Once in checkout,I saw Chanyeol and Chen hug the pillars in the hall. I chuckled. The other boys followed them, too. I saw Xiumin oppa pull Baekhyun away from hugging the pillar. They were attracting onlookers. -_- Idiots. LOL. Papa was probably in a good mood, for he didn't scold any one of them when the boys started taking pictures in the checkout area. The airport staff were laughing in the distance. Of course, my brothers looked adorable even if they were being idiots. Lay gege was able to persuade mama and papa to join the mini photoshoot. He asked a staff nicely to take our family picture.

Before we went out, Tao reminded mama about the ice cream promise, and mama obliged. All of us were our ice cream while we waited outside the building for Papa and Xiumin get the cars. As we rode back home, everyone was silent. It was either one slept on the way or looked out the window. It was late afternoon when we arrived and the sun was setting. Those who were awake all looked out the window as the sun set in the west. It was a beautiful sight. For some reason, I felt happy deep inside. And then, we saw the familiar driveway. Papa had installed a remote control security and automation system for the house. The lights were on outside. But the boys had to manually unlock the gate from the keypad installed. We were home. Don't get me wrong. We enjoyed every day we spent in Florida, even those days when Kai wasn't there. LOL. But, as the old adage say, "There's no place like home."

The cars parked in the garage, we trooped to the front door and waited for Suho to unlock the door. As he opened the door, my feet was itching to step inside and pushed him aside. LOL. I quickly ran to the nearest chair and sank down. I hugged a throw pillow and stretched myself on the sofa. Tao and Kai also sank on the unoccupied armchairs. Baekhyun squuezed himself between me and the pillows. I squirmed and tried to kick him off, but he hugged me. I was squished. Luhan saw and he pulled Baekhyun away by the belt. Sehun went straight up the stairs, dragging his suitcase. Chanyeol started to go up the stairs, but stopped in front of it and in the process, Lay gege who was dragging his suitcase to the stairs, stumbled on Chanyeol's luggage that was on the way. He flicked Chanyeol on the forehead and kicked his bag away. Papa didn't come inside right away. He inspected the outside of the house for anything that was missing or something. He asked Kris and Xiumin to go around the house to check as well. Mama came in with her handbag on and when she saw us sprawled on the sofa, she quickly poked us and commanded that we go up and put out luggage in our rooms. *Grumbling*

Mama: What is that grumbling I hear. Go upstairs now.

Tao: Maaaaa...

Mama: What? Zitao, you are 15 years old. Act like a man.

Tao: I'm not Luhan ge.

Mama: Luhan isn't the only man of this house, young man. You only have one sister. All of you are men. Now, go upstairs. Kai, you too.

Tao: But-

Mama: No buts. Upstairs. Now.

Shuffling of feet. Kai and Tao reluctantly got up and straightened up, stretched and proceeded up, heaving their luggage upstairs. I didn't wait for mama to scold me too, so I got up and dragged my suitcase. Chanyeol who was still standing in front of the stairs, suddenly came out of his reverie. He helped me drag my suitcase up. 

"I'll be back for mine. Don't touch my suitcase."

Nobody heard him, but nobody really minded. Chen and Suho were already halfway up the stairs with their stuff. Kris and Xiumin finished checking the back yard and they were reporting to papa. Kyungsoo and Luhan were already upstairs. Baekhyun was the only one left downstairs. When I got up, he replaced me and stretched out on the sofa. Mama didn't see, because she already went to their room. But papa saw. He and the 2 oldies came inside the house and saw him. Papa nudged him by the shoulders.

Papa: Baekhyun. Go upstairs now.

Baek: Pa, I'll just lie for a bit here.

Papa: You're gonna fall asleep and then leave your things on the floor. 

Baek: I won't forget, promise.

Papa: Wu Bai Xian.

Baek: *grumbles but stands up*

So he didn't have a choice but to go upstairs with his luggage, too. Kyungsoo and Luhan were on the way down when we arrived the 2nd floor landing. They were laughing at something. I didn't bother to eavesdrop and proceeded to my room. Yo-oppa helped me with my suitcase and then went back down to get his own. I left my suitcase lying on the floor and took off my shoes. I plopped on the bed and hugged my pillow. I could sleep right away and not have dinner. But I know it was impossible. Dinner at the Wu house was a must, specially because the parents are with us. Breakfast and dinner were the important meal times in our home. It's the time that all of us are together. On school days, lunch were spent in school, and we don't always take it together. So, I slowly got up and changed my clothes. I'd wash up a little later. I'd just rest for a while.

I went downstairs and settled in the couch in the sitting room. So if in any case I fell asleep and it's dinner time, they'd be able to just poke me to wake me up. I found Kai already snoring on one of the couches. I plopped on the other couch and drifted off to sleep as well. I was only woken up to the sound of Kyungsoo shouting that he'd burn Chen alive if the latter didn't stop poking his finger in his tiramisu mix. Papa was in his office and he stormed outside to see what was going on. Chen automatically stopped and apologized with a sheepish smile on his face as he saw papa came out. Mama was probably in her office and didn't bother going out. She probably was avoiding a heart attack. LOL.

We had tiramisu for dessert that night, thanks to Soo oppa. Chen was punished to clear the table and wash the dishes himself, courtesy of mama. He couldn't complain because he knew he deserved it. All 12 of us were relieved that we didn't have any chores to do after dinner. The older boys went out to the back to lounge by the pool. Kai and Sehun went with them. I stayed inside and watched DVD with Tao and Soo oppa. Mama with us, she picked which movie to watch. Papa excused himself and said he'd turn in early for he had some work to do the next day. We said our goodnight to him and he went. Mama picked a classic movie, one of the Mafia series The Godfather. I think that's how Tao learned to be a spy. Heheh. 

We could hear the boys outside. It sounded like they were teasing Luhan again. I shook my head. My brothers were big flirts. LOL. Sometimes, I wanted to be a boy, so I could join whatever it is that boys do in times like this. But sometimes, I'm glad I was a girl, because I didn't have to join nonsense talks in times like this. I know. I'm not making sense. Hehehe. *Peace sign*

The movie ended and mama shoved us all to bed. Well, the ones who watched with her. She then went to the back door to probably tell the other boys to go to sleep. I went up the stairs dragging my feet. I was so tired. Jet lag, yup. But I was glad there wasn't school the next day. We had at least 2 more weeks to spend doing practically nothing. Next summer, I vowed to enroll in summer classes. Possibly piano lessons. Or guitar lessons. I would very much like to drive already, but I know I won't get permission from everyone else in the family  I'd be told to wait until I was 16. Which brings me to the topic on cars. I remember telling you about how my older brothers have cars since papa got promoted, right? Having a car was one luxury that we, the Wu kids, could achieve. Xiumin, Luhan, Kris and Suho each chose a car they wanted. And they went with papa to buy and do a test drive. The garage was full of cars. Papa was already thinking of renovating the house so he can have a bigger garage built. That would mean we'd have to move again temporarily. I hated moving. Lots of stuff needed to be packed and unpacked. Anyway, it probably won't happen soon, because papa had work to do. 

This is Luhan's car. It's a Volvo XC90. I just feel like it suited his personality. And I am a Volvo fan, TBH. LOL. He uses this car to drive us to school and back. He also mostly uses this when he's scheduled  to buy groceries. No one from the middle children wants to ride with him to school. IDK why, but us  maknaes are the ones who're comfortable riding with him to school. Maybe because he was a strict gege,  that the others don't find it fun with him in the same car. Hahaha. When he arrives from school, you'd find sticky notes on the windows all over his car. Mostly are from his fanclub girls. Hahaha. We'd have fun reading them and him crumpling them and tossing them in the nearest trash bin. xD

Luhan wasn't fun when it came to discussing his fangirls. He was always awkward about them. But he looked so cute when he was annoyed, so we annoyed him some more. There was this one time when a group of girls came about writing his name on his car door and also drew hearts around it in lipstick. He was pissed off about it, but didn't show it. He only slammed the door and ordered the first person he saw coughBaekhyuncough to scrub the lipstick off. Baekhyun, who was outside the house when Luhan arrived, just stood and stared at Luhan, mouthing "What did I do?" But Luhan likes girsl, actually. Just not the kind of girls who'd go out of their way to annoy him. He was always looking at girls who didn't wear makeup. Him and Kris gege got along when it came to choice of girls.

This is Xiumin oppa's car. It's a Volkswagen GTI. He liked the color red, so he asked papa personally if he can get this particular car. IDK why he chose this, but when he's in it, he looks really good. And as he says, he looks good when he's in it and he's wearing white. I couldn't agree more. This is also the same car that Baekhyun-ge crashed. LOL. There's a little dent somewhere under the hood, but if you don't look really closely, you won't recognize it. Xiumin has gone to the mechanic to have it repaired, but he was told that it would take at least a month for them to do it, because they had to find the exact paint color to finish up the car job. Papa hasn't found out until now, by the way. Girls were always found taking selcas in front of his car at their campus. Maybe they also claimed he was their boyfriend. OMG. No. Nobody owns my geges except me. LOL. I'm a selfish little sister when it came to my brothers.

Now, this is Kris gege's car. It's a Chevrolet Volt. I know. This car screams his name. And girls also scream his name whenever he arrives in school driving this. It's our official grocery car. LOL. Luhan gege's car is used only when he's scheduled. But even if Kris-ge wasn't scheduled, we still use this. Don't get me wrong. We have 2 other cars that we use as a family. Anyway, his backseat was full of GQ magazines and Michael Jordan clippings. Yep. My giant brother was a big fan of the Chicago Bulls legend. He also had clippings of some of the old Dream Team guys, namely Tony Kukoc, Anfernee Hardaway and Scottie Pippen. I knew these guys because I always saw them when Kris drives us to school. LOL.

Like Luhan, his car would have sticky notes and flowers stuck in his windshield when he came from school. He didn't bother to remove them while driving and just lets us do whatever we wanted with them. He couldn't be bothered with fangirls, but we know he likes girls. So much. His section practically made him their president, just so the girls would have an excuse to talk to him. For the times we went to the senior high campus, I always saw that my brothers cars were always the ones who had sticky notes and flowers on them. Talk about being popular. And in demand.

Suho-gege's car. It's an Audi S4. It's not as ostentacious like Kris' or Xiumin's car. But it's as sleek as Suho's personality. You'll know it's his car, even if it's the first time you saw it. IDK, but maybe because of it's sleek design, you can see my brother's personality written all over his car. Hahahah. I'm also an Audi fan. He had regular passengers, like I mentioned before. Kyungsoo and Chen. Hehehe. This car is always seen in the carwash station near school. Suho wants his car to always look clean before and after school. That's how vain he was when it came to his stuff. I figured, Tao gege would be like this when it was time for him to get his own car. He's been practicing driving this car, too. But unlike Baekhyun, he hasn't crashed this car, so Suho ge lets him practice on this one. 

Lay gege will be having his car next. I wonder what he will choose. Hmmm... It probably will be one where he can stuff all his musical instruments inside. Like a truck or something. xD Hehehehe. But I doubt he'll choose a truck. He'll just probably get a van for himself. A truck would be Kai's choice of vehicle. A hummer, to be exact. Because he'd like to drive on rough roads. Well, that's just a guess. He was always talking about how he wanted to try driving one of those military vehicles. Anyway, I don't think girls would like to ride in a hummer on dates, right? I would. But, Lay gege and a truck for his car? Nah-uh. Not gonna happen.

Uhmm... Hi. Hehehe. IDK, but I just felt like posting pics of the oldies' cars and having Xiao Yi talk about them. LOL. I hope you don't mind, but even before I started this story, I have already picked out which cars they would drive.
