Sungyeol remained on his pose as he hears that familiar voice and that dreaded one-of-the-many-nicknames of the younger.

After the man released his tight hug, sungyeol stood up right away and looked at him alarmed. It took a a second before he hugged the other in return and a minute before he pushed the man by the shoulder.

“Don’t you have a schedule?! Yah! are you skipping?!”

“Yah” The man whined, camera flashes everywhere “I did not! and this is part of the surprise!”

“Are you kidding with me?” Sungyeol arched his brow despite the obvious grin on his face, not even minding the murmurs and flashes everywhere “and what surprise?”

“Well, we’re on a break and CEO-nim wanted us to work and continue our studies so for the mean time, tadaaah~ ” He flashes sungyeol a grin "but we do start tomorrow, i asked hyung to come early because i wanted to see you soo~"

Sungyeol widened his eyes and opened his mouth ready to speak. Before he could do so, a hand s its way on sungyeol’s wrist and pulled him down.

“Yah! isn’t that—?!?!” Woohyun asked, his voice unbelieving.

Sungyeol laughed “Yeah, wait I’ll introduce you.”

“err” Sungyeol began, awkwardly scratching his cheek “you all know him but… his name is jaehwan or ken” He gestures for the man besides him.

“Hi” the man, Jaehwan said and smiled.

Sungyeol wanted to laugh as he sees sungjong’s eye twitching in happiness ready to combust any minute now, Dongwoo practically punching hoya and sunggyu looking at him, mouth agape. Woohyun facepalming and myungsoo looking at them, he knows because he saw his reflection.

Sungyeol gestured for jaehwan to take a sit as his friends still busy from recovering to ask questions that the brunette knows will come any minute now.

Jaehwan places his hand on sungyeol’s shoulder as the brunette dips a strawberry in chocolate and feeds him.

Sungjong, finally able to speak immediately asked “How do you—?! Why—? I—“

“We’re” Sungyeol was cut off mid sentence by a strawberry being shoved down his throat (damn it do I not have any time to speak, sungyeol thought) by none other than jaehwan.

“childhood friends” Jaehwan finished for him and sungjong yet again squeals in delight, jaehwan can’t help but chuckle at how cute the younger is and ruffled his hair.

Sunggyu, still mouth open, blinked and whipped his head towards sungyeol. “Why didn’t you tell us?”

“I tried to tell you early this morning” Sungyeol pouted

“early this morning” Dongwoo, finally gaining his voice back started “You had the whooooole freaking time!
