"I can manage"
Ambivalence“Since when?” the man before sungyeol asked as he looks out of the window of the empty classroom.
Sungyeol sighed, he knew there was no denying this time (not that he denied before. He just wasn’t asked) “way longer than you think.”
The man looked at sungyeol and walked towards him, sitting in front of sungyeol “So that’s why you asked me before….” The man shifted again, sitting closer to the brunette leaning on the taller.
“you’re an idiot”
Sungyeol looked down, his face painted with a pained smile. The man furrowed his brows, knowing how sungyeol must be feeling “I know.”
“Why don’t you confess?” The other sighed, ruffling his hair. He would never have known sungyeol had feelings for the raven if it wasn’t for that glint he saw last time or the looks he gave the younger when they were talking or not. It took him a week and half before he concluded that sungyeol did, in fact, liked the younger.
“you know why I can’t”
“Still” the man began “doesn’t it hurt?”
“it hurts” Sungyeol answered after a few minutes “but I can manage.” Sungyeol raised his hand and gripped on the shirt just above his heart. He hated talking about his feelings because when the actions are stated, he feels like it really isn’t meant to be.
“there’s only so much pain a person can take” The other started “didn’t you say so yourself, before?” Sungyeol did say that. Sungyeol adviced him.
“Hyung.. I” sungyeol bit his lips “I can manage.”
“Sungyeol” The other sighed.
“just… please don’t tell anyone. Even hyung..” sungyeol covered his face with his hand, rubbing his face and ruffling his hair. He looked broken.
“Sung—“
“woohyun-hyung” Sungyeol began, his voice muffled because of his hands on his face “please.”
Woohyun who was looking at his friend, sighed and nodded. He kind of wished he hadn’t noticed this but at the same time he was thankful he did. Earlier, he was ecstatic because he finally noticed sungyeol’s act
