A car pulled up on the other side of the road, and you heard a voice call out from it.

“Yah! ~~~-ah! I thought you said you were busy after school!“

You turned around to see Sungyeol getting out of the car, your eyes brightened.

He ran up to you, waving as he got close.

“Yeol-ah~! I’m sorry, I wasn’t sure what time I’d get out today.”

You began explaining to him how you had somehow gotten yourself into a detention, and were late getting out of school.

“You.. you’re drenched..” he pointed out, before you finished.

Sungyeol looked at you sort of disapprovingly, then walked closer and wrapped his arms around you.

“You must be cold…”

“Y-yah~ you’ll get all wet,” you warned.

“You think I mind~?”

You giggled and pulled him into a tight bear hug, covering his own shirt in water.

He pouted as you pulled back away.

“You asked for it.”

The two of you laughed.

“Well… I think I should take you home.”

Sungyeol took your hand.

With your hand in his, he began walking you to his car. You leant your head on his side while you walked beside him.

“So…” Sungyeol started, unsurely.

“What exactly happened back there? You’re.. covered in water…”

You laughed a little, remembering what had happened.

“Just had a water fight, no big deal.”

“But your clothes are all wet and you might get a cold this time…”

You shrugged.

“I don’t think I will, don’t worry.”

“Well… I don’t think you should have water fights in the river.”

He had a somewhat ‘professional’ expression on his face.

“No matter what the weather is like and who you’re with~”

You looked at him, slightly amused.

“Not even with you, huh?”

He coughed to himself.

“Well.. no, with me it’s fine…”

You poked him in the side.

“Ow!”

“You’re jealous?”

“Jealous? Of what?!”

“Jealous I had a water fight without you!”

“No! That’s silly!! Why would I be jealous of something like that?”

“Whatever you say then,” you smiled and skipped ahead of him, “I don’t believe you, though.”

“Hey! Why not?!”

“Jealous~”

“I’m not!!”

“Mehrong~”

“That’s it.”

Sungyeol had his game face on, and your eyes rounded.

“Oops…”

You began running for the car, Sungyeol chasing behind you.

“I won’t say it again!” you shouted over your shoulder, laughing back at him.

“Yah! How can I trust you now~?”

“I won’t! I promise!!”

You reached the car and pulled on one of the doorhandles, but all of the doors were locked. Sungyeol caught up to you, lightly grabbing your shoulders from behind, and you playfully wriggled around, trying to break free.

“I wasn’t serious~”

“How do I know that? You sounded serious. Don’t tease your oppa.”

You turned around, pouting, and leaned against the car.

“Well.. you seemed jealous. That’s all~”

“Well I wasn’t, okay…”

He scratched the back of his neck, leaning on the car with one hand.

“You sure?”

“Yes…”

You looked at him with the slightest hint of disbelief.

“Okay. Fine. Maybe a bit..”

You let out a tiny laugh.

“I knew it!”

He sighed.

“Jeaaaal-“

Before you could finish, Sungyeol leaned in and kissed you, his hands on either side of you against the car. Then he pulled back again, his eyes aligned with yours only centimeters away.

“... lous..”

Your cheeks went pink and he cupped a hand around your face.

“Only a little.”
