L.JOE’S POV:

I then thought back to an incident in the past;

*FLASHBACK*

I placed my ear to the bathroom door.

Although I could only hear excerpts of the conversation, I was able to gather necessary information.

“I have a month of vacation!”

“Meet me at my dorms at 5pm.”

WHAT! I thought Chanhee and I could hang out today and he’s betraying me for someone else?

That night, Chanhee left the dorms without even saying bye.

Although I had to admit that he looked pretty handsome, wearing a dark blue shirt and his hair fell on his face naturally.

I took a jacket and quietly followed him out to see where he was heading. I saw him waiting outside, looking out. I guess he’s still waiting for his special someone. I took my phone out of my pocket and checked the time- 4.44 pm.

Finally, bring out the courage to press send, my text message to Chanhee was the following-

-Hey Chanhee, I’m currently at the dorms. Just wondering if you want to see a movie and then get pizza for dinner?-

I saw Chunji take out his phone, that he had just put back into his pocket.

He frowned and I felt like running out there and moving his mouth to a smile instead.

He looked out, up towards the top of the hill that the road faced.

Then he started typing, as I wondered what my reply was going to be. Finally I received a reply;

-Hey Byunghun, sorry but my parents just called me out for dinner, so I’m on my way to their place right now-

I frowned. Wow. As if.

I checked the time. It was 4.52pm.

I quickly replied, trying not to sound desperate.

-Okay, have fun! I’m going out with CAP. I’ll see you later. B-

I felt guilty about lying, however I got a pretty quick reply;

-Have fun. Ttyl. C-

Hmm. He must really want to go to dinner with his parents. He’s probably getting picked up by his chauffeur. I put my phone into my back pocket and then looked up to see someone wrap their little arms around my Chanhee.

Those arms traveled higher- around his neck, as Chanhee’s arms seemed to wrap around the other person.

His chauffeur wouldn’t do that.

I looked around them, looking for a car- but didn’t see anything different.

That’s weird. No chauffeur. Or car. Or taxi.

That’s definitely not his parents either. Oh my.

He moved slightly, and I got a clear view of what was happening. Or clearly what he was doing.

Wrapped in Chanhee’s arms, was a petite girl, in a pink dress.

They were hugging.

They then kissed.

It was definitely not his mum.

Being shy, I looked away, allowing them to have some privacy.

I felt tears building up in my eyes and hurriedly went off, embarrassed that someone, especially Chunji would see me.

*end of flashback*

I felt Chanhee stir in his seat next to me and before I could put the photo back, his voice broke my chain of thoughts.

“Yah!”

“Oh, you were about to-”

“Give it back!”

I handed Chunji his photo back.

“Are you okay?”

“Nae, just want to see my baby ___, that’s all. Sorry I snapped at you.”

“Hmm, it’s okay. By the way, I have a plan.”
