We all sat at the dinner table quietly, the first time in a while that Uncle had been with us. Supposedly he had been on a business trip but with what Minah told me, I believe it was a load of crap. I bit my food harshly, trying to tolerate his presence. Minah glanced at me nervously every so often but never dared to spoke.

"So." I spoke up, catching everyones attention. "Uncle, how's the business?" Minah gave me a distressed look.

"It's good."

"Really? That's good."

"Are you interested in entering the business?"

"Your business? hmmm... no. I have other things to pursue."

Minah kicked my shin under the table. I winced but tried not to cause suspicion.

"Ah, I see." he smiled and nodded.

"What are you interested in pursuing?" my Aunt asked.

"Well, living in New York made me really curious about crime and investigating. Possibly in the drug unit. The trafficing and distributing of illegal drugs just makes me sick."

Uncle gulped down his food and only looked down at his plate.

"Oh really?" my Aunts interest obviously signalled that she had no clue of her husbands current business.

"Yeah. I just want to stop all these under ground businesses from ruining countless of peoples lives. Drugs is a dirty business full of dirty people." I looked up and Uncle was quiet, but so was Minah. "I hear that most drugs are traced back to big companies and corporations. They may be declining in business but they manage to have so much money. Suspicious right?"

"Ah, I think I'm going to bed. I still have jet lag. Uncle excused himself.
