After walking you home, DaeHyun entered his silent house.

His parents were always somewhere else, busy with their own lives, so he lived on his own.

Slowly taking off the scarf you gave him, he breathed in your scent.

Dropping his bag on the floor, he got a change of clothes and went to take a shower.

While the hot water ran, his thoughts ran wild.

Especially the conversation he had today.

~ Flashback ~

DaeHyun froze to see YeRin's younger sister, YeRi.

Instantly, he became emotionless, "What are you doing here YeRi?"

The girl's expression turned sour, "What's with that kind of greeting DaeHyun oppa?"

He smirked, "Are you being serious right now?"

She slowly approached him, "The younger sister of your dead love comes and this is how you greet her? Tsk tsk, unnie would be disappointed. In fact..."

An evil glint filled her eyes, "She'd be hurt to death at the way you're treating me."

DaeHyun's fists were clenched, "Shut up. You disappeared. Right after YeRin's death."

YeRi rolled her eyes, "Oh boo hoo. Stop acting like I killed your girlfriend."

"You might as well have."

A flash of hurt passed YeRi's face.

Her voice dropped to a dangerous whisper, "You were supposed to love me. Not her. I loved you first. You were MY first love, not unnie's."

DaeHyun growled, "Well I don't love you. Or YeRin anymore-"

"I know. You're with that new girl. That shouldn't be-"

DaeHyun hissed, "If you knew what was good for you, you wouldn't say a word about _________."

YeRi frowned.

*He was never like this..even for YeRin unnie.*

YeRi murmered, "You must really love this girl."

DaeHyun became silent.

YeRi glared, "But I loved you first. I love you more. I can do better. I'm not gonna let unnie's death be in vain-"

"SHUT UP."

YeRi gaped at him.

Never had she seen DaeHyun so fierce, so angry, even when him and her sister had fought.

"Aren't you ashamed that you're going after your deceased sister's ex-boyfriend? What would she think of you?"

YeRi cruelly smiled, "She'd want US to happen. Her death happened for a reason, it's fate DaeHyun oppa-"

DaeHyun gave a harsh laugh, "Do you hear yourself?"

YeRi stared at him.

"You're...not the girl you used to be YeRi. I never loved you..maybe as a younger sister. But not in the way I loved YeRin and not in the way I love _________."

She opened to speak.

He cut her off, "If you had any respect for your sister's death and an ounce of sanity in you, you'd leave me alone and never bring up YeRin in front of me again."

He gave her a hard look and stormed off.

YeRi sadly smirked as DaeHyun walked away, "Stupid oppa. I wonder if you'd be acting like this if you knew the truth."

Wiping his hair furiously, he checked his phone to see if you had texted or called.

There was one message from you: Oppa feel better! Saranghae <3

Smiling he called you, you picked up and the two of you talked about your days and everything.

"Hmm?"

"Can you do me a favor?"

"Of course."

"Can you sing for me?"

You laughed, "Haha it seems like our roles are switched today."

DaeHyun's smile faltered but instantly it came back when you sang him a sweet lullaby.

His half-lidded eyes closed and he fell into a peaceful slumber.
