Time kept passing in Nicky’s life; she was very busy with work and with wedding preparations. What once seemed like a faraway date was now approaching fast. Not being able to see Leeteuk constantly was difficult for her but they were coping. She was now very excited about Super Junior’s tour dates since they were going to South America, but at the same time she was sad because Yesung will not be able to go on the tour. His enlistment date was set and he was not allowed to leave the country anymore.

During the South America tour, Nicky was able to speak Spanish everywhere they went. On top of that, Kyuhyun was able to bring Jessy along and Nicky loved spending time with her best friend while exploring new countries.  The group had a camera crew with them most of the time documenting their adventures for a special show. She was missing Leeteuk a lot because she wanted to show him around the new places the boys were seeing. Most of the fans were great with her and stopped her to congratulate her on the coming wedding.

Once they returned to Korea, the group continued touring through Asia for some months. Nicky was able to say goodbye to Yesung when he enlisted even though he went to the base privately. Sadly her time with Leeteuk was cut even shorter because the Celebrity Army Unit was dissolved after some bad behavior from some idols. At the end of August, Heechul was finally discharged and ready to be back into Idol life. 

InYoung and Leeteuk’s mom finally convinced Nicky to go wedding dress shopping. She thought that shopping for a dress in September was to soon but they change her mind. So one lovely afternoon Nicky went wedding dress shopping with Leeteuk’s mom, Inyoung, a very pregnant Michelle and Heechul who for some reason decided to tag along.

“I still don’t understand why are you here Heechul” Michelle said sitting down. “I know what JungSoo like. I’ll choose for him.” He responded while doing some hand motions to the store owner. “It’s Nicky’s dress, she will choose.” InYoung said pointing a finger at him. Nicky was looking around, all dresses were pretty but she haven’t found THE ONE.

“How about this one?” Leeteuk’s mom said while holding a strapless dress. “It’s pretty” Nicky responded while touching it. “You have to try them on. They may look OK in the hanger but once you’re wearing them it’s totally differrent.” Said Michelle. “THIS is THE dress!” Heechul said while holding a dress and giving it to Nicky. “What fo you know about wedding dresses Heechul?” Michelle asked lifting an eyebrow.

“Believe me, this is your dress. Try it on.” Heechul added.

“Heechul, I…” Nicky hesitated “Try it!!!!!!!!” Heechul demanded while pushing her. “He won’t stop bothering until you try it on” InYoung said and TeukMom laughed. “Do it! Do it!” Heechul insisted while pushing her towards the fitting rooms.  The store owner helped Nicky while the others waited outside. There was no mirror inside the fitting room so she had to wait until she got outside to see herself.

“Yah! Curly! Hurry up!” Heechul shouted. “Hold on! I’m almost done.” Nicky shouted back. She started walking out of the fitting room and all the people outside just gasped…..she looked stunning! “So…what do you think?” she asked. Michelle, Teukmom and InYoung looked at her with tears in their eyes while Heechul smiled triumphantly. “You gorgeous!” Teukmom said while brushing a tear away.

The store owner moved Nicky in front of the full size mirror so she could look at herself, and when she did she froze. The dress was gorgeous and fit her perfectly. “Oh goodness!” Nicky said while looking at her reflection. Heechul stood beside her, looking at her trough the mirror. “I told you it was your dress.” He said smiling. “It IS gorgeous.” Nicky responded.  “And it’s yours.” Heechul whispered. “What?” Nicky asked turning around to face him. “The dress is yours. My gift to you.” He added and Nicky just hugged him. “Oh my! Heechul, this is… this is too much!” Nicky said while hugging him. “You make my hyung happy and you take good care of us. You deserve the world.” Heechul whispered making Nicky cry.

“Thank you Heechul! Thank you so much!” Nicky said as they brake the hug. “This is the dress people! We are done!” Heechul said and they all laughed. “Who would have known you had so good taste for wedding dresses.” Michelle said with a laugh. “Please, I’m Kim Heechul” he responded and they all laughed.

Nicky kept looking at her reflection in the mirror; she totally looked like a bride and it dawned on her…this was really happening. She was going to marry Leeteuk soon and it was going to be perfect.
