After recovering from the shock of finding that Leeteuk was staying right next to her in an adjacent   room, Nicky decided to go upstairs to the open deck of the ship and call Michelle. “How’s everything?” Michelle asked over the phone. “It’s okay. Lots of fans, all the idols are very excited.” Nicky replied. “Have you checked your room? How is it?” Michelle asked.  “That’s……….interesting” Nicky said with a sigh. “What do you mean?” asked Michelle.  “My room is one of those adjacent rooms with a door connecting it to next room. And….. guess how is staying in that room?” Nicky said.  “OMG! Please say is Leeteuk!” Michelle exclaimed very excited.  “Yes, it’s him. I’m in hell!” Nicky replied. “No! You’re in heaven!!!! Oh! This trip is turning into a Love boat!” Michelle said laughing. “No love boat! I’m here to work! I can’t have feelings for him!” Nicky said lowering her voice.

 “Unnie, it is not whether you can or cannot have feelings for him. It is about whether you do or don’t have feelings for him. And I know you do love him.” Said Michelle. “I know I do, Michelle. I do love him but……….. he’s just my friend” Nicky said. “He’s just your friend because you haven’t done anything about it!” Michelle interrupted her. “And he’s younger than me” Nicky added.  “Excuses! Excuses! No more excuses! Just let things happen, don’t shy away or block him or anything like that, you hear me?” Michelle told her. “Give me a moment” Nicky told her and looked at some fans that were approaching her. They asked for a picture with her and she accepted. Once the fans left she continue talking to Michelle. “Sorry, some fans wanted a picture with me” She told Michelle. “See? Even the fans like you!” Michelle said. “This conversation is over Michelle. I need to concentrate on my job” Nicky replied. “Good luck concentrating when the guy you love is just a small door away from you!” Michelle added.

“Noona!” Donghae was knocking on Nicky’s door, Kyuhyun  and Shindong were with him. They kept knocking  until Leeteuk peeked out of his room. “She’s not there.” Leeteuk told them. “How do you know?” Kyuhyun asked. “Come here” Leeteuk told them and they all entered his room.  Once inside, they noticed the opened connecting door. Leeteuk have asked Nicky if they could keep the door open and after much consideration she accepted. “You dirty old man! You share the room with her?” said Shindong laughing. “Ani! We each have our room but they connect through this door” Leeteuk said laughing. “You lucky bastard!” Donghae said laughing. “Now is your chance, Hyung. You’re confessing right?” Shindong added sitting on his bed. Leeteuk just shrugged his shoulders. “You have to!” Donghae added. “You better do. Yunho is going to ask her out.” Kyuhyun said sitting down. “How you know that?” Leeteuk asked. “Changmin told me” Kyu replied. “You better not lose her to Yunho, hyung.” Donghae replied.

Nicky returned to her room and found all the boys in Leeteuk’s room. As soon as they heard her they all run to her side. “Noona!” said Eunhyuk hugging her. “Hello boys!” she sat on a little sofa and Sungmin sat next to her, playing with her hair. “Minnie, if your hand gets tangled in there you will lose it ‘cause I’m not cutting my hair.” She said laughing and Sungmin laughed as well. They all talked for a while and suddenly Nicky’s laptop started beeping. Kyuhyun jumped on her bed and grabbed it, answering the skype call. “Hello” Kyu said looking at the screen. It was Jessy,  Nicky’s friend from Puerto Rico.  “Well, hello there!!” she replied a little surprised. “I’m Cho Kyuhyun” he said. “I’m Jessica” she replied. “Nice to meet you Jessica” he said with a smirk and Nicky took the laptop away. “You guys need to stop invading my space! Go on to your rooms! Or go do something around the ship, just don’t get in trouble! Arasso?” Nicky said and they all left. “Why did you interrupt? He seems interesting!” Jessy said. “He’s 25 years old” said Nicky. “He’s a grown man” Jessy replied. “You e!” Nicky said laughing. “Says the woman who lives with a bunch of younger guys! Who’s the e now?” Jessy replied and they both laughed.

The ship sailed and the games and activities started. The guys were scattered around different  rooms doing all sorts of games. All the group leaders were at the main stage participating in a game were the prize was a dinner date with each of them. All the fans were going crazy as each group leader was call on stage. Nicky was watching from the sidelines, laughing at the questions and answers given by the participants. The winners were selected and she felt a bit of jealously over the girl that won the date with Leeteuk, the girl was very pretty and was crazy about him. She shrugged that feeling away and left the room to check on the other boys. She found Yesung coming out of another stage and he asked her to go with him to eat something.

“I’ll go with you sweetie but I don’t feel like eating anything.” She said walking with him. “Noona, You sick?” Yesung asked her. “No, just getting used to the ship’s movements.” She replied. They went to the buffet were fans took picture of Yesung and asked for autographs. Then they moved to a secluded and private ‘idol only’ area where they sit. Nicky had some coffee in her hand and drink it. “Oh goodness! This coffee is bad!” she said putting the cup away and Yesung just laughed. “Your mother’s coffee is really good” she added. “Omma misses you in shop.” He said. “She’s so lovely. Too bad I can’t communicate much with her. I have to really learn Hangeul” Nicky replied and they both laughed. “Omma wants me to date you” He added eating a piece of fruit. “What?! She knows I’m just your noona; what did you tell her?” Nicky asked surprised. “That you are Leeteuk hyung girl” he replied smiling.  “WHAT?!?! Kim Jong-Woon! I’m nobody’s girl!” she said in shock. “He loves you; know it right?” he added. “Yesung!” she said looking the other way.  “He gave you his wings” he added laughing. Nicky looked at him confused and he just pointed to the earrings. “His wings. You have”  he said.“It was just a birthday gift” Nicky said. “More. Accept hyung, he good” he said standing up and left.

Nicky stayed there while processing what Yesung just said. “Why is everybody onto this? Don’t they know that I’m having a internal conflict over it? Aishhhh!!!” she said to herself and left the area.  Tiffany and Jessica saw her and brought her to the karaoke room to sing with them. They had a lot of fun and all the idols were there.  After a while she returned to her room and got ready to sleep when someone knocked on her door.  “Noona” Ryeowook knocked. “Wookie? What’s wrong sweetie?” she asked opening the door. “Head hurts” he said entering her room. “Oh, baby come here, sit there.” She told him and looked for her medicine bag.

Leeteuk entered his room at that moment and heard Nicky talking to Ryeowook. He stood in the connecting door frame to look at them. “You don’t have a fever. What else do you feel?” she asked him putting the thermometer away. “Headache” Wookie replied. “Maybe is just until you get used to the movement; I’m a little dizzy myself. Drink this and let’s take you to your room.” She said giving him some medicine and standing up. “Wookie, you can walk?” Leeteuk asked. “Yes hyung, is only my head. Noona gave me medicine. I’ll sleep” he responded. “I’m taking him to his room. Go to sleep is late” Nicky told Leeteuk and she got out of the room with Wookie.  Leeteuk stood there for a moment; she was perfect, so nurturing, she would be a wonderful mother someday. He suddenly smiled at his own thoughts. “Yah! Jung-Soo!” he told himself and got into his bathroom.

Nicky returned to her room and tried to sleep but the ship movement was really bothering her. She couldn’t lay down because her dizziness got worse, so she sat on her bed. Leeteuk got out of his bathroom and peeked though the connecting door. “Nicky-ah you ok?” he asked. “I hate boats!’ she said and he laughed. “Don’t laugh! I can’t sleep” she added throwing a pillow at him. “Watch movie?” he said smiling  and she hesitated for a minute. Yesung’s words where still on her mind. “Ok, maybe that will calm my head” she said standing up and moving into his room. They sat on his bed and started flipping channels looking for a good movie. “Seriously!? Who will watch Titanic on board a cruise ship?” she said and Leeteuk laughed. All the movies available were either Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Titanic or Castaway. They decided to watch one of The Lord of the Rings. “Maybe looking at Orlando Bloom will help my case” Nicky said laughing and Leeteuk just looked funny at her.

The sound of her alarm in the distance woke Nicky up. She rubbed her eyes and looked around trying to see clearer. She noticed that she was on Leeteuk’s room and that the TV was still on. “We fell asleep during the movie” she thought sitting up and stretching her arms. She looked to her left and saw Leeteuk,  still asleep, right next to her. He looked so peaceful and sweet that she couldn’t stop staring at him. Suddenly she felt a strong urge to kiss him; she bite her own lips trying to control herself. “Veronica, stop it! You are not risking your job over this!” she thought looking the other way. She felt him move and she stood up. “Good morning” he said rubbing his eyes and hugging his pillow. “Good morning Teukie” she replied and turned the TV off. “I guess the movie was boring or we where very tired” she added with a shy laugh. “Neh” he said smiling at her. “Get ready, you guys are very busy today. Bye!” She said and moved to her room in a flash. Leeteuk just smile and hugged the pillow one more time; it was her pillow, the one she tossed at him the night before.
