Nicky was grabbing some things in her room. She managed to find a flight that same night so she and Leeteuk were leaving in two hours. “Boys, please be good. Rest and follow your schedules, arasso?”

“arasso Noona!” they all answered back. “Well then, see you soon” She was waving her hands goodbye and one by one the boys came and hug her, even Heechul!  She was surprised, they  all have became very close but still the skinship (as they call it) between them was limited.

 “Hyung, take care of her” Donghae told Leeteuk  “I will; you guys be safe” Leeteuk answered and they all hug him as well. “I’ll keep praying, be safe!” Siwon told Nicky. “Thank you. Ok then, let’s go” she said.

Nicky and Leeteuk were at the dorm door when she asked him “Wait! You have your phone?” .  “Neh” he answered.  “Wallet?” she asked again  “Neh!” he answered with a strange look on his face. “Good. Just making sure.” She added and he just looked at her with a confused expression before entering the elevator.

They arrived at the airport and in no time they were onboard the plane. Nicky was very silent and not her usual talkative way. Leeteuk wanted to listen to her but he was still not very confident talking in English . “You ok?” he managed to asked but Nicky was too absorbed in her own thoughts. “Nicky-ah? You ok?” he asked again and she finally snapped out it. “Oh! Yes, yes I’m Ok.” She answered with a little smile. “It’s going to be a very long flight, you should try to sleep Teukie” . She moved her hands a lot when she talked. Probably because she wanted to emphasize her words so they could understand her better. “You sleep too” he replied “I will, good night!” she said and both of them closed their eyes.

The flight from Seoul to New York was very long, but they slept all the way. Once in New York they had to take a flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico which added 4 more hours of flight.

On the plane, Nicky was seated next to the window, looking at it. Her head was resting on the window frame when a sigh escaped her lips and a tear came rolling down her face. Suddenly, a hand held hers and snuggled it softly. She looked to her side and faced Leeteuk looking straight at her. “Is ok, everything ok.” He said with a little smile.  “Thank you” she said wiping the tear away from her face and smiling at him.

They spent talking the rest of the trip, actually Nicky did most of the talking while Leeteuk tried his best to understand her. It was the first time they spent so much time together without the other guys around and it felt natural.

The plane landed and they grab their things, “Here we are” said Nicky walking in front on Leeteuk. “Everything ok” he said to calm her down. “Oh, I know. “

They went through immigration and walked outside the airport to hail a cab. “I’m here Tia, please hold on” Nicky thought while motioning for a cab. They both got in the car and Nicky turned to Leeteuk and said “Welcome to Puerto Rico, Leeteuk”.
