The white stick rested on top of the sink while she looked at the instructions in the box. “Two pink lines means positive for pregnancy” she read in a low voice while her eyes moved from the box to the sink. Her watch alarm went off signaling that two minutes have passed. She moved closer to the sink, taking a deep breath as she picked up the white stick. Eyes glued to the stick and looking at the box to confirm; she stared wide-eyed at the results. “Two pink lines………………..”

Super Show 5 preparations were running high, opening night was just a couple of days away and the boys were practicing nonstop. Nicky was also practicing, the boys convinced her to play the piano on stage with them during “Haru” and now she was a bit nervous about it. During her free time she went to Kona Beans to help Leeteuk’s mom; Nicky was now able to communicate better in Korean since she started taking advanced classes with a personal tutor and his mom was better proud of her for that.

While helping at Kona Beans, Leeteuk’s mom brought her a cup of tea. “Omma, why do you keep giving me panax tea?” Nicky asked while looking at her. “I just want you to be healthy.” Leeteuk’s mom answered smiling. “I know what they use panax tea for.” Nicky added with a smile. “You do?” Leeteuk’s mom said, a bit surprised. “Yeah.” Nicky responded . “Well…I guess I just can’t wait to see my grandchildren with curly hair.” Leeteuk’s mom said caressing Nicky’s hair and smiling. “I’ve seen that Korean genes are very strong, so I guess our kids won’t look like me” Nicky responded and they both laughed. “We will see. Have you decided on the date?” his mom asked. “Well, they confirmed his discharge date to be July 29. He wants the wedding to be that Saturday.” Nicky answered. “That Saturday is….. August 2nd. Good! We can secure the venue and continue with the planning before you leave with the group for the tour. Now, drink your tea.” Leeteuk’s mom said. “Arasso!” Nicky responded laughing and grabbing the cup.

It was the day of the first Super Show 5 concert and Nicky was nervous. She has called Michelle but she was out of town so they just talked on the phone for a while. “Everything’s gonna be fine! Don’t worry.” Michelle said. “I know…..but…..” Nicky said. “But nothing! Go there and do your stuff! When I return we will have some ice cream and we’ll talk, ok?” Michelle added. “Ok” Nicky responded with a smile and hang up. The concert started and they boys were amazing. They were nervous because it was their first time without Leeteuk but Nicky assured them that everything was going to be alright. Yesung enjoyed everything since it was going to be his lasts shows before enlistment. Nicky watched from backstage until it was her turn to go in. They called her and moved her to the stage with the grand piano while the boys changed clothes. She was nervous about being on stage, in front of so many fans and without Leeteuk , but she promised the boys to be there so she was not backing up now.

The music started, the lights went on and she started playing the chords to “Haru”. Fans started screaming when they recognized her and the place went nuts when the boys came out. Niicky laughed when she noticed that she was dressed just like the guys, white shirt and white pants, that was definitely their idea. The song went on, the boys were amazing. They got closer to her, sat next to her and even played with her. Near the end of the song they all got away and came back with a hand behind their backs. At the end of the song all boys had on a mask with Leeteuk’s face. They all surrounded Nicky and when she looked up and saw them she got shocked and started laughing. All the fans started screaming and laughing as well. Nicky, stood up and they all hugged her. She was now surrounded by a bunch of Leeteuks, a dream come true!

When Michelle returned, she took Nicky out for ice cream and they talked about everything. “How’s Leeteuk?” Michelle asked. “He’s okay. We talk often, he calls me every chance he gets.” Nicky answered. “How are you holding up?” Michelle asked. “I’m ok. But I miss him so much. I was used to seeing him every day, you know.” Nicky responded. “And now you miss him even more…..your body misses him!” Michelle said in a low voice and laughing. “Michelle!!!!” Nicky said blushing. “Come on! You had a taste of him, you’re going to crave more!!!” Michelle said laughing. “Shut up! That’s………..personal! What about you? What have you been up to lately?” Nicky responded laughing and throwing a napkin at Michelle. “Not much……..well……….” Michelle said but was interrupted by a waiter. They kept talking for a while and Nicky noticed that Michelle was a bit odd. “Are you ok? There’s something different.” Nicky said looking at her. “I’m fine. Just…excited about seeing you. Have you guys set a wedding date?” Michelle asked. “August 2nd. A couple of days after his discharge.” Nicky responded. “Good, he can hardly wait to get married!” Michelle said and they both laughed. “August, huh? That’s good. I should be back in shape by then.” Michelle added looking at her ice cream. “Back in shape? What are you talking about?” Nicky asked looking suspiciously at her. Michelle just looked up and smiled. “I’m pregnant”. She said and Nicky squealed. “You are?! Really!?!” Nicky asked laughing. “I am! That’s why I was out for some days, I needed to internalize the news!” Michelle said. “Oh my God!” Nicky said and stood up to hug her. “You’re going to be a mother!” Nicky added. “Can you believe it?” Michelle said laughing. “How’s Min Woo?” Nicky asked. “He’s on cloud nine. Extremely happy” Michelle responded. “You guys are going to be excellent parents!”Nicky said. “I hope so……I’m excited but also scared!” Michelle said. “It’s going to be great!!!” Nicky said and they kept talking for a while.

The next day Nicky was at SM finished some stuff when he phone rang. “Hello?” she answered. “Jagiya!” Leeteuk said on the other line. ‘Teukie!!! Hi!!! How are you?” Nicky said and moved to a quieter area. “Good,and you?” he said. “I’m good. Busy but good. ” She responded. “How was the show?” he asked. “It was great! The guys were nervous but it was awesome. They miss you” Nicky responded. “I miss them too. And I miss you.” Leeteuk said. “I miss you too” Nicky said. “I can’t wait to see you. How is things?” Leeteuk said. “Good, working hard on the tour. Oh! And I have some news! Michelle is pregnant!” Nicky said. “Really? Good! She happy?” Leeteuk asked. “Very happy! And Min Woo too. They are very excited.” She said. “Nice. And you?” Leeteuk asked. “Me? I’m happy for them.” Nicky responded a little confused. “Ani; are you pregnant?” he asked with a smile on his face. “What?!?!...No….No, I’m not!” she responded, surprised. “Oh, I think you were going to say you are pregnant.” He said laughing. “I am not!” she responded. “You could be.” He insisted, laughing. “Park Jung Soo, stop it! Trust me, I am not pregnant.” She insisted. “Arasso. I will work harder next time.” He said laughing. “You what?!?! That is not happening! You naughty boy!” Nicky said, embarrassed. “I love you” he said. “I love you” she responded. “Have to go now. Say hello to dongsaengs.” He added. “I will. Take care please” she said. “See you soon, my bride” he said and hung up. Nicky put her phone away and looked outside the window with a smile on her face. His eagerness for her to be pregnant was surprising, but at the same time she felt happy that he couldn’t wait to start a family with her.

My dear readers: I'm so sorry for the delay. It have been a couple of rough months for me and I lost the inspiration, but I'm still working on this story.
