Kona Beans opening ceremony was a total success. All the Juniors were there and Nicky was there as well. She helped with everything and had lots of fun seeing the fans interact with the boys behind the counter. Leeteuk just looked at Nicky and smiled, she got along very well with his mother even though their oral communication was minimum, InYoung was translating for them. For him it was very important that his mother approved his relationships and seeing them spending time together was amazing. Kyuhyun kept bothering Nicky about her Hangeul and Sungmin kept feeding her cookies which made everyone laugh. They all left Kona Beans and went to their schedules for the rest of the day.

 Nicky returned to the dorm late that night and finished decorating for Christmas. She hid the boys’ gifts in her room and kept putting decorations around the dorm; the boys thought she went overboard with decorations but she was just trying to make the place more like home for her. Christmas in Puerto Rico was a huge, family celebration but here it was more of a normal day. She missed her aunt more than ever and knowing that this year she wouldn’t receive her call on Christmas day made her sad. Leeteuk entered the dorm and found her putting up the nativity set on a table. “Hi” he said getting closer to her. “Hi Teukie” she responded kissing him. “What you do?” he asked hugging her from behind. “I’m putting the nativity set. It’s pretty right?” she responded. “Neh. Where baby?” he said looking down at it. “Oh, no. Baby Jesus will get there on Christmas day” she responded moving the figurines. “Who?” Leeteuk asked pointing to three bearded figures inside the box. “Those are the Three Kings who went to see baby Jesus” she said taking one of the figures in her hand. “This was a gift from Tia Vicky” she added. “You miss her” Leeteuk said. “Yes, this time of year was our favorite……….” She responded. “I see” Leeteuk added looking around the dorm and laughing. “I might have gone overboard with the decorations……” she said looking around as well. “Is good……..Omma invited us home at new year” Leeteuk said. “Home? Her house? She wants me in her house?” she replied. “Us….she wants us home” Leeteuk responded. “That’s nice….but you guys are working on Christmas, and New Year’s.” she said. “Neh…week after, holiday?” Leeteuk said. “That’s right! We get a week off! “ Nicky said excited. On Christmas morning, Nicky went very early to church with Yesung’s parents and returned to the dorms to give the boys their gifts before leaving for the schedules. They had a packed schedule but they all made sure to give Nicky a nice Christmas.

The holidays came and went  very fast for Nicky since the group was busy with shows, presentations and individual schedules. They were finally having a whole week off and she was spending it with Leeteuks at his mother’s house. They arrived there and she greeted them warmly. InYoung was also there and Nicky was more than happy to see her, she would help her communicate with Mrs. Park. They had dinner and his mother served some wine to propose a toast. Nicky was a little nervous about the wine since she didn’t handle alcohol well but she was not going to say no to her “mother-in-law” (as she asked her to call her). Leeteuk just looked at Nicky and smiled, knowing that she was going to take the wine just to please his mother.

 The evening was great, they all talked and enjoyed being together. ”Well, I’m going to bed. Jung Soo make sure she’s comfortable. Nicky-ah, good night” Mrs. Park said standing up and leaving the room. “Good night! Thanks for everything“ Nicky responded “I’m leaving as well. Good night!” said InYoung and she followed her mother. “Jung Soo, finish the wine so it don’t get wasted.” Mrs. Park added and left.  “You ok?” Leeteuk asked Nicky looking at her playing with the wine glass. “Yes………well….I think” she replied rubbing her forehead. “Why you took wine?” he asked her laughing. “I was not saying no to your mother” she replied standing up. “Whoa! I’m a little dizzy!” she added sitting down. “You drunk?” Leeteuk asked laughing. “No! I’m just……..a little tipsy.” She answered. “Go sleep” he said standing up and helping her stand up. Nicky stumbled a little while walking and Leeteuk just carried her bridal style to her room. “Oh! What are you doing? I can walk…….I think” she said laughing.

They got to the room his mother prepared for her and he placed her on the bed. He lay right next to her on the bed and closed his eyes. “What are you doing? Nicky asked him. “Sleep” he answered not looking at her. “You are not staying here” Nicky said looking at him. “Is not dorm” he replied smiling. “It’s your mother’s house. We are not staying together in your mother’s house. What is she going to think of me?” Nicky said looking at him. “She knows we stay in hotel” Leeteuk replied smiling. “She what? Is there anything you don’t tell?” she asked him in shock. Since the concert in Japan, Nicky have let him stay in her hotel room since it was the only way they could spend some time together.

Leeteuk opened his eyes and looked at her smiling. “She ok. I go now” he said standing up. Nicky sat up on the bed and tried to stand up. “Whoa! I hate wine” she said falling back on the bed. Leeteuk kneeled in front of her with a huge smile, grabbing her by the waist. “I sleep here?” he asked with a smirk on his face. “Go!” Nicky replied laughing, pushing him away. He tackled her down on the bed playfully and started to tickle her. “Stop it! Teukie! Everyone’s asleep!” Nicky said laughing and trying to be quiet. Leeteuk stopped the tickles and kissed her. “I love you….. Omma  and noona love you” he said looking into her eyes. “I love you too. And I love them” Nicky replied combing his hair with her fingers. He stood up and walked to the door. “Maybe….you could stay here for a while” Nicky said sitting on the bed; Leeteuk smiled at her and sat next to her. “You’re not sleeping here though; you’ll go to your room.” She said. “Arasso” he responded and hugged her.
