“K-Kangin?” Leeteuk stuttered. Kangin stepped closer to Leeteuk so their faces were only inches apart. Leeteuk felt his knees weaken as he thought he was dreaming.

“Yes, Jung Soo. It’s me.” Kangin said softly, though he felt overjoyed that he finally got to see Leeteuk again.

“H-how?” Leeteuk whispered.

Kangin smirked and shrugged. “I heard you were in town.”

Leeteuk felt speechless. He opened and closed his mouth, trying to come up with something to say. Though, what could he say? His boyfriend came to see him on Christmas eve after Leeteuk himself had gotten him expelled.

Kangin couldn’t control himself anymore. He cupped Leeteuk’s face and leaned in to capture Leeteuk’s lips with his own. Leeteuk felt shiver go down his spine as he stood there. Soon he felt Kangin’s tongue poking his lips, asking for entrance. Leeteuk didn’t hesitate and parted his lips for Kangin’s tongue to explore his wet cavern. As they were kissing, Leeteuk couldn’t help but moan softly to the incredible feeling.

Kangin slowly pulled away to stare into Leeteuk’s eyes while still cupping his face. “I’ve missed you. A lot.” He said and smiled warmly.

A tear rolled down Leeteuk’s cheek as he stared at Kangin. It was so hard for him to formulate a proper sentence. He wanted to tell Kangin that he missed him too and that he was terribly sorry about what happened. He wanted to tell Kangin that he loved him and that wanted to make everything right again.

“Jung Soo?” Kangin said with a shaky voice as he wiped away Leeteuk’s tear with his thumb.

“I-I... I’m sorry!” Was all Leeteuk could get out before his tears started flowing freely down his cheeks. Kangin reacted immediately and pulled Leeteuk into a tight hug. Kangin Leeteuk’s back as the latter clung to his shirt and sobbed. “Shh... it’s okay.” Kangin said soothingly, though not knowing why Leeteuk was sorry. “I’m here now.”

After some time Leeteuk had calmed down, but Kangin still kept hugging him tightly and rocking him side to side slowly. “K-Kangin,” Leeteuk mumbled with a shaky voice.

Kangin pulled away to look at Leeteuk, who immediately looked down when their eyes met. “Jung Soo?”

“I-I just w-want you t-to know that I... am really s-sorry about what h-happened.” Leeteuk mumbled.

“What are you talking about?” Kangin asked. He wanted Leeteuk to look him in the eyes.

“Th-that you were expelled.”

“But, it’s not your fault.” Kangin said and smiled weakly. He lifted Leeteuk’s chin with his finger, so his and Leeteuk’s eyes met.

“But...” Leeteuk sighed while still keeping eye contact with Kangin. “It is.”

Kangin raised an eyebrow in confusion. “How is it your fault?”

Leeteuk felt tears build up in his eyes, but refused to let them fall before he had explained himself. Kangin deserved it. “I...” He took a deep breath before continuing. “I t-told the counselor at S-Saint Michael’s that...” He gulped. “Th-that you were bullying p-people... bullying m-me...”

Kangin’s eyes widened as he stared at Leeteuk in disbelief. Unconsciously he let his hand fall from beneath Leeteuk’s chin. “You?”

Leeteuk blinked back tears several times as he stared into Kangin’s dark eyes. “Y-yes...” He whispered.

“You sent me away?” Kangin asked a bit louder. Leeteuk curled his lips as he felt like sobbing again, and all he could do was nod. Kangin raised his eyebrows in shock. “But, why?”

“B-because S-Siwon told me that our relationship wasn’t right and I-” Leeteuk started, but he was interrupted by Kangin.

“Siwon? Choi Siwon?!” Kangin asked loudly, his eyes were slowly showing more and more anger. Leeteuk only nodded in response as he stared at Kangin. Without another word, Kangin started to stomp off.

Without hesitation, Leeteuk grabbed Kangin’s sleeve. “Wait!”

Kangin turned to face Leeteuk. His expression showed signs of both anger and sadness.

“Wh-where are you going?” Leeteuk asked.

“Choi always comes in the way. I don’t know how or why, but he always finds a way to make us fight. This time I’ll get him back for it.” Kangin stated and tried to walk away again, but Leeteuk held on to his arm tightly.

“No! Don’t leave me!” Leeteuk pleaded and earned eye contact from the stronger man again. This time Kangin’s eyes were filled with worry. “I-it’s my fault. I was so stressed and confused and I didn’t know what to do. I should have thought about it twice, but I didn’t. And, I just want you to know that I regretted it right after I told the counselor. I’ve never felt so lonely as I felt when you were gone. I’ve never felt so guilty.” Leeteuk said as he held back tears.

Kangin sighed and held on to Leeteuk’s shoulders. “Jung Soo, I...” Kangin sighed.

“Please don’t leave.” Leeteuk pleaded again. “You can probably stay here for the night!” He blurted out and held on to Kangin’s shirt slightly.

Kangin raised his eyebrows in surprise. “Huh?”

Leeteuk looked up into Kangin’s eyes as he held on to his shirt tightly. “I-I’ve really missed you and it’s Christmas. Why start a fight now?” He asked and smiled weakly.

Kangin sighed before pulling Leeteuk into another heartfelt hug. “I’ll stay for the night, if it’s okay with you.” He mumbled into the crook of Leeteuk’s neck.

“I don’t think my parents will mind.” Leeteuk mumbled back as he felt more and more relaxed in Kangin’s embrace.

-

“Ah, who is your friend?” Mrs. Park said as Leeteuk and Kangin were on their way up the stairs.

“Um... th-this is Kangin. Uh... from school.” Leeteuk muttered nervously and scratched the back of his neck.

“Oh? Well, it’s nice to meet you Kangin. You have a very strong name, which is good. Who are your parents?” Mrs. Park asked.

“Uh...” Kangin mumbled and glanced at Leeteuk.

“Mom~! We’re tired and we want to sleep. Is it okay if he stays the night?” Leeteuk whined and pouted cutely.

“Aw, alright! Tell me about yourself later then, Kangin.” Mrs. Park said and giggled.

“Okay.” Kangin said and smiled awkwardly before walking up the stairs after Leeteuk. As they walked down the small hallway towards Leeteuk’s room, Jessica came out of her room.

“Opp-” Jessica gasped when she saw who was standing behind her brother and her whole body stiffened.

“Jessica,” Leeteuk started calmly and smiled weakly at his sister. “This is Kangin.” He said and stepped to the side so Kangin and Jessica could greet each other properly.

Kangin stared at Jessica as she stood frozen in place. Jessica was obviously not planning on taking the first step as she stood there looking scared as ever. Kangin huffed air before offering his hand, though he was expressionless. Jessica flinched at the sudden gesture and took a step back.

“Sica...” Leeteuk muttered, not noticing Kangin glaring at Jessica. “Just... shake hands.”

Jessica slowly stretched out her hand to shake Kangin’s hand. “H-hi.” She almost whispered as she stared at Kangin wide eyed.

Kangin let go of Jessica’s hand and said “Hi.” flatly.

“Oppa, c-can I talk t-to you for a minute?” Jessica stuttered, though not able to take her eyes of Kangin.

“Uh, sure...” Leeteuk shrugged as he could feel the awkward aura surrounding the three of them. “Kangin-ah, my room is the last door to the left.” Leeteuk said and smiled at Kangin.

The latter couldn’t help but smile at Leeteuk and nod before walking down the hallway. Once Kangin had walked into Leeteuk’s room and closed the door, Jessica turned to glare at her brother.

“What?” Leeteuk asked as he noticed his sister glaring at him.

“He’s not staying here, is he?” She whispered.

Leeteuk shrugged and looked elsewhere. “Well, I thought he could sleep over.”

Jessica’s jaw dropped and her eyes widened. “WHAT?!” She blurted out and covered soon after. She took a deep breath before whispering, “Mom would never let you.”

“But, she just did.” Leeteuk said.

Jessica gaped again. “Really?”

“Mhm.” Leeteuk said and nodded.

Jessica then narrowed her eyes at her brother. “You didn’t tell her who he is, did you?”

“Well, I-”

“Aha! I knew it! Because if she knew she wouldn’t have let him in!” Jessica whispered. “Oppa, I’m only saying this because I care for you and I don’t want you to get hurt. I don’t think Kangin is the right person for you... I mean, he’s a guy. And... and he’s a bully. How will this end? You two are just not compatible.” She said without breaking eye contract with her brother.

Leeteuk nodded as he listened to his sister. “I know, I know... I’ve heard it all before. But, Kangin makes me happy. When he’s not there, I feel alone. M-maybe he’s not the right one for me, but I don’t know that yet. And  if he isn’t the right one for me, then I’ll find out sooner or later.” He said and sighed. “Look, I know that my parents and my best friend would probably never support me on this one, but at least you. You, Jessica, my sister, the one I can always count on. The only thing I ask of you is to support me through this no matter what. Can you do that for me?”

Jessica felt her eyes get teary and words get caught up in . “Okay.” She nodded and swallowed. “But, please promise me that you won’t get your feelings hurt.” She said with a shaky voice as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Leeteuk took her hands in his as he smiled warmly at her. “I promise.” He said before pulling his sister into a big, heartfelt hug. Truthfully, he didn’t even know if he could keep that promise.
