“Okay, Hyoyeon-ssi, please give it your best shot in your performance. 1, 2, 3…Start!” Hyoyeon dances gracefully. Her moves are perfect but her choreography is always showy and doesn’t have its own individuality and spirit. She dances perfectly but her moves do not make someone’s heart stop nor could it be breathtaking. It is her only flaw. She knows it. She knows it too well that it gives her a hard chance to succeed in the audition.

“Please, stop!” Hyoyeon stops dancing. She doesn’t care what the person in front of her will say. She knows it already.

“Sorry, but you failed. If you will try again, please bring a partner for the other audition we will be holding next week. Thank you.”

Hyoyeon thanked him back. She fails again.

 Hyoyeon cries silently at the bus stop. She sits down and thinks deeply of what she could do about it. She wants to defeat someone whom she doesn’t know but whose dancing skills are always top notch. She remains hopeless in those situations. 

Two years ago, Hyoyeon auditioned for a dance competition. This dancing competition was a quest to search for the next top idol. She gathered all her courage and was anticipating a good result.  She succeeds in the preliminaries. She anticipated herself being televised nationwide. She practiced and practiced. She got bruises all over her body and the muscle pains she received was like she has been beaten up.

But, the final audition came up; she gets herself at the groove.  They were in masks and got dressed up. The instructor told them to do so to get prepared for the upcoming event which they could perform there if they succeed. The time came, but she lost to a guy next to her. All of the viewers’ attention was focused at him even the camera was.  She was left as a loser.

While remembering those times, she is fetched by Eunhyuk. She gets up and rides his car. Eunhyuk had observed that she is in fact in a bad mood.  “Why? You’re face is all red and swollen.” He asks her but she couldn’t respond. 

There is an awkward silence lurking inside the car. “I…failed the audition again.” Wiith her head down, her tears fall like a river non-stop and are dropping like rain.

Eunhyuk stops the car and tries to wipe her tears.“Thank you.” Hyoyeon thanked him sincerely and he blushed.

“If you want, I’ll be your…” Hyoyeon is surprised.

“My partner?” Eunhyuk couldn’t reply because of embarrassment.

They arrive at the mansion. Eunhyuk dropped her in front of the mansion. He goes to park the car.

“What’s with him?” Hyoyeon asked herself.  

“Young miss, you have a visitor.” The maid announced and she is lead to the guest room. It is Sungmin. He smiles right after seeing Hyoyeon.

“Why oppa?” Hyoyeon sits down at the opposite sofa.

“Do you want to audition for this competition?” Hyoyeon is surprised because it is the same audition she wants to go but she doesn’t have a partner. 

“You’ll be my partner?” Sungmin nodded. “Really?” Hyoyeon is overjoyed. She thanked Sungmin. They talked about what they will perform.

Meanwhile, Eunhyuk hears their conversation as he eavesdrops. He is angry but keeps it all to himself.

“Ah… It’s better this way. At least, she wouldn’t get hurt if it’s him.” Eunhyuk left  with his fists clenched.
