You were sleeping soundly in bed since you didn’t get home until two this morning and you were beyond exhausted because one, you used up all your energy the day before when having fun with Lauren, and two, you had work, despite just coming back from filming. Right after arriving to Seoul, Lauren was dropped off at her house and tearful farewells were exchanged. It took a long time getting there, due to traffic. Then, you had some schedules to take care of, which were last-minute and you didn’t find out until your uncle called you half an hour beforehand.  After that, you had late night practice to make up for the days you missed out on. Finally, you got home and went to bed immediately.

The house was quiet, maybe too quiet. You buried your face into your pillow when you felt the bright sunlight shining on your face. Strange, you remembered closing your curtains before going to bed. Oh, well. You could worry about it later, when you woke up. The blanket was ripped away and your body was exposed to the coldness of the room.  

“WAKE UP!” Someone yelled.

You took your time sitting up, not paying attention to your surroundings since you were still half-asleep. You squinted at the person who woke you up.

Slowly, your vision became clear and you let out a scream. “AHH!!”

The person seemed surprised as well and let out a not-too-manly scream. “AHHHH!”

“Why are you screaming?!” You asked.

“I don’t know! You screamed first!” Hoya said.

“What are you doing here at six am? How’d you get in my house? Where are my parents? Do they know that you’re here?” You fired question after question.

“Woah, woah. One question at a time.” He said. “I’m here at six am because it’s your birthday! How’d I get into your house… ringing the doorbell? Your parents are gone – they left after letting me in. So, your last question is also answered.”

You quickly covered yourself with your blankets. You were too immersed in the thought of Hoya at your house at six am in the morning and disturbing your sleep that you completely forgot about your pajamas. You had a tendency to wear revealing clothes when you slept; an oversized t-shirt and very short shorts.

“It’s only six…” You mumbled.

“Yes, but we have a big day ahead of us.” He answered, trying to get you to get up. “You stay here and freshen up, ok? I’ll be downstairs making breakfast for the both of us. Then we’ll be on our way.”

You just nodded – as long as he leaves your room, you could go back to sleep. As soon as the door closed, you dropped back onto your bed and almost instantly, shot right back up since the door opened abruptly.

“I knew you’d go back to sleep!” He accused.

“Is being sleepy a crime?!” You asked.

“No, but we must eat and then go!” He urged.

“Fine, fine.” You got up and headed to your restroom. “Happy?”

“Ecstatic.” He replied.

You rolled your eyes and closed the door.

You muttered to yourself while showering.

“Yeah, show up at my house at six am in the morning and demand me to wake up. I’m so tired~” You complained.

You forgot your clothes on your bed so you wrapped your towel around your body and opened the bathroom door. Suddenly, your bedroom door opened and revealed Hoya.

You screamed. “AHHHHH!”

“AHHHHHHHHH!” He also screamed.

“Again, why are you screaming?!”
