Special Stage with Hoya and Sunggyu Part 2
The Female HoyaIt was 9AM and Hoya, Sunggyu, and you were in the practice room again. The special stage was at 12PM, which gave you guys two hours to practice and an hour to get ready. Everyone was energized and ready to practice. JungYeop walked into the practice room when the three of you were in the middle of practicing. He nodded in satisfaction at what he saw and left the room.
Finally, it was time. Packing up quickly and leaving the room, the three of you piled into the van that was waiting outside of the company to take you to where you’d be performing your special stage. Sunggyu was eager to show his fans that he was more than just a singer. He wanted them to see a new side of him. Just thinking about it made him excited.
The three of you filed into the waiting room, sitting next to each other on the chairs to get your make-up done. You were sitting in between Hoya and Sunggyu.
“Sunggyu oppa,” You called.
He snapped out of his thoughts and panicked when he thought you saw him staring at you. Luckily, your eyes were closed because the make-up artist was doing your eye make-up. Hoya was listening to music while scrolling through his phone.
“Yeah?”
“Are you feeling alright?” You asked.
“Is it that obvious?” He sheepishly scratched the back of his neck.
You chuckled, your eyes still closed. “Not really, I can just feel your anxiety radiating from over there.”
He let out a sigh. “I mean, it’s not like I’m not excited or anything – I really am. It’s just I’m afraid I’ll mess up. This is the first time I’ve ever done something like this and I don’t want to ruin it for all of us.”
“Don’t worry,” You replied. “Like Howon told me once before, part of being an idol is learning from your mistakes. You make a mistake, you learn from it. It really helped me get through all the times I’ve messed up on stage or during practice. If you’re ever feeling nervous, just look at me or Howon.”
How am I supposed to look at you when I’m nervous? I’ll become even more nervous and that’d increase my chances of messing up even more.
“I’ll try,” He said softly.
“We’ll be right behind you every step of the way.”
“Sunggyu-ssi, Hoya-ssi, LeenA-ssi,” A staff member called, “you’re on in two minutes.”
“Neh~” The three of you chorused.
Hoya exited first, you followed, and then Sunggyu. You three watched the group that was currently performing from the side of the stage. You could see how worried Sunggyu was. You placed a hand on his shoulder, in attempt to comfort him. He just briefly glanced at you and returned his gaze to the group on stage. The audience erupted in cheers which meant it was time to go up and perform.
You pat Sunggyu’s shoulder before you followed Hoya towards the stage. “You’ll be fine. I’m sure you’ll do well. We’ve been practicing hard lately. Hwaiti
