The Birth of Ho-YAH, Childish Revenge, and a Sick Howon
The Female HoyaYou were in conflict with yourself. Half of you wanted to quit and just give up your dream, but the other half, screamed to not give in and fight for what you’ve worked so hard to achieve. You were so close, but so far away from your dream, was it really worth it to keep fighting? All of your problems would go away – your parents would stop suspecting and an annoying Howon would disappear.
No. You can’t give up. You won’t give up. Especially to him.
“I’ll give you three weeks to think it over.” He said, leaving.
All that filled Howon’s head was what Haemi said earlier, when JungYeop broke the news to her.
“It’s not fair! I worked hard for it! She can’t come waltzing in and steal my spot!”
You glared hatefully at his retreating back. You entered your house and went straight to your bedroom. You grabbed your Pikachu.
“Why does he have to make my life so difficult?” You asked. “What have I done?”
It stared back at you with its pitch black eyes. You sighed. “I won’t accept his offer – not now, not ever. I have too much pride for that. Plus, they don’t call me stubborn for nothing. I’ll show you what it’s like messing with me. Lee Howon, you’re in for it now.”
You fell asleep, feeling triumphant with your plans. The next morning, you woke up early, ate breakfast, and skillfully left the house. When you arrived to your practice room, you were greeted with a bucket of icy cold water.
“Ho – YAH!” You said, once the water made contact with your body.
“Yes?” He asked, innocently looking at you through his glasses.
“Nothing.” You gave him a fake smile. “Good morning.”
He smiled back. JungYeop walked in.
“Good morning Howon and ~~ – woah. What happened?”
You looked up from your wet bangs. “It was hot, so I um… took a shower.”
“…alright then. Anyways! We’re picking out your stage names today! ~~~, your American name is Lina right?"
You nodded. "Yes, when I studied in America for a while, they called me Lina."
"I think Lina will be your stage name."
"How about LeenA?" You suggested. "It's a unique spelling."
JungYeop thought for a moment. "Yes, I like it. For Howon, I was thinking Hoya.”
“Hoya?” He asked.
