You were in the middle of a conversation with Sunggyu. He told a joke and you laughed. Dongwoo joined in out of nowhere.

“AHAHA! YOU’RE SO FUNNY GYU HYUNG!” He slapped Sunggyu’s shoulder, a bit too hard.

“HILARIOUS!” Woohyun added, swinging his arm over his shoulder.

Funny, where’d they come from?

“You know what else is funnier?” Dongwoo asked.

“What?” Woohyun wondered.

“Come, we’ll show you.” Dongwoo dragged Sunggyu away.

You had no idea what happened, but Hoya came up from behind.

“How’s the party?”

“Good, thanks.” You smiled. “But Sungyeol oppa left.”

“That’s a shame.” Hoya said. “He seemed to get along well with Myungsoo.”

You nodded. “Yeah, I thought so too.”

“Here.” He handed you a bag.

“What’s this?” You asked.

“Just a little something.” He said, not answering your question. “Wear it ok? Restroom is over there.”

You went to change out of your clothes. Looking in the bag, you saw a black v-neck and white skinny jeans. You changed into them and still wore your heels since they were the only shoes you had. You walked out, your feet hurting.

“Present time!” Sungjong announced.

Everyone gathered around the present table. You began to open the bags and boxes. There were teddy bears, cards, signed albums, clothing, etc. Sunggyu got you a beautiful necklace which he helped you put on while Dongwoo and Woohyun pitched in to get you a new purple watch, with small amethyst stones on each number. They were only trainees, so they didn’t make as much money as they would’ve wanted to buy you a better gift. You thanked them. Sungyeol got you a bracelet with a diamond wing. You softened. You didn’t need any words. The wing was a symbol of you, spreading your wings and venturing out into the world, showcasing your talent of dancing – and you had a thing for wings. Hoya’s was last. It was a box.

“Your feet are probably hurting right?” He asked.

You nodded at the random question. “Yeah, heels aren’t really my –“

He opened the box and revealed purple high tops. They weren’t just any purple high tops, but the exact high tops that you’ve been wanting for as long as you could remember. You remembered staring longingly at it through the windows but putting it down when you saw at the price afterwards.

“You actually bought them… how’d you know?” You asked. “I never told anyone I wanted these.”

“I didn’t…” He said. “I happened to see you one day and the way you looked at them, so I decided to get them for you.”
