*Flashback*

“Omma~~” you ran after her as you carried the grocery bags. “Aish Minhee-ah can you catch up” she said as you were in front of her. Once she finished her sentence, you raised your eyebrow and dropped the bags. “Why don’t you carry it then” you crossed your arms and looked away, you could sense that she was disappointed and ashamed of you but you didn’t react to it. Your mother struggled to carry all as she had small hands so she requested you to get the bag of oranges.

You puffed your cheeks and bent down to get it. You lifted it up and felt it getting light. “yah why did you buy these with a ripped bag” you threw it on the ground making her furious. “Go Minhee, why are you like this? Pick it up” she commanded but you didn’t respond as you examined your finger nails. She shook her head and put the bags down to pick up the oranges.

Everyone was looking at you and your mother on the ground picking up the bruised and dirty oranges on the foot path. “Aigoo look at that girl--- Why isn’t she helping her mother?--- Kids these days--- Such an disappointing child, if I were her mother I would regret giving birth to her” you heard whispers and murmurs around you.

‘Zip your mouths gossipers’ you gritted your teeth and impulsively crossed the road. *BEEP BEEP*

“Hit me~~” you screamed in your mind ‘I don’t deserve to---‘ before you could finish your sentence in your mind… your wish came true.

“Minhee-ah” You heard cries beside you as you opened your eyes. “Yah Appa I’m not dead… yet” he gave you a look and hugged you tightly “I’m glad that our Minhee is alright, you scared Umma” He said and lightly hit your back. The door opened and a doctor came in, “Can I see Minhee’s parents please”

Both of them stood up “This way please” the doctor left and both of them turn to you “we will be back” Your mother said with a small smile.

You yawned for the nth time as you listened to all the songs in your mp3. “Hmm time to get the latest Samsung Galaxy player that Infinite oppa is advertising” you chuckled and looked out to the blue sky. You moved your leg and winced, ‘what the…’ you looked at your leg underneath the blanket and noticed it bandaged. You frowned and lay back down.

“Boring life, boring family… boring place” you whispered to yourself as you played with your hair.
