It just was not possible…was it? They both used protection…had not they? YunHo stared down at the female’s abdomen, which was hidden from view by the table. He leaned forward, placing his elbows on the table. “Are you sure?” He questioned after five minutes of silence.

The female was annoyed, this was the sixth time he has asked her that question. “I’m pretty sure after the fourth pregnancy test plus a doctor’s confirmation, it’s true.” She replied as she pushed a piece of her chestnut brown hair behind her ear. “I wouldn’t make stuff like this up! This is my life we’re talking about destroying!”

YunHo’s mind pondered what the female was talking about, this was his life too. But he just did not understand, a baby? It was just a moment of ual curiosity. He only needed to see if he was attracted to females, see if they turned him on. This was not supposed to happen, they had protection! “Giving… for adoption.”

YunHo snapped from his thoughts and looked at the female in alarm. “What?”

“I’m giving it up for adoption. I could’ve gotten an abortion, but the doctor told me I was too far along.” She dropped her head and fidget with the cup between her slightly trembling fingers. “Six months too far.”

“Why?” YunHo could not believe his ears, adoption? Abortion? What the hell was she talking about? “Why Seul Gi?” His husky voice had deepened, becoming forceful.

“Again, I say having this child would ruin my life!” Seul Gi shouted, not caring if other costumers heard her, “I don’t have money to support a child, I don’t even want kids, they’ll only slow me down and besides, I don’t want to disappoint my parents.” YunHo remained silent as he took in what Seul Gi was telling him, all the reasons she was telling him sounded…no were so selfish.

“Since I’m the father, why don’t I help you? My parents’ would help us.” YunHo insisted, he refused to have his seed be taken care of by another. “I’ll stay home with the child while you go to school, then once you graduate, I’ll finish…”

“Damn it YunHo! Don’t you get it? I don’t want this child!” Seul Gi stood from the chair. “Listen, I have to go. I just wanted to tell you about the problem and the solution to the problem.” She pointed to her protruding stomach.

He couldn’t believe his ears; now he understood why he was not attracted to females, they are so…vile, intransigent and selfish. How could she give away part of her so easily without giving it consideration? “If that’s how you feel, then I’ll take care of it.” He stood as well. “I’ll support it by myself, you won’t see or hear from me about the child…deal?”

She studied his face, she waited for him to say he was only kidding and that he agrees with her decision, but all she had gotten was a stern expression staring back at her, she sighed heavily. “Is that what you want to do?”

YunHo frowned at her question, he offered had he not? “Yes, of course.”

Seul Gi snorted. “…Fine, that’s your life down the drain.” She replied before walking away. He smiled at the thought of raising a child of his, but it was quickly overshadowed by one question: how was he going to balance a child along with college, and work?
