As time goes by, Jerelyn actually did date with a guy that she knew online. She was that naïve that the guy online would love her for all she is. She would go out with the guy along with Elliot. But Elliot actually did not like the guy at all. He preferred Sehun over the guy.

“Elliot, we are going out with Uncle Xiumin today.” Jerelyn announced on a usual weekday. At times after Sehun came to fetch Jaei, she would then go and look for the guy online, named Xiumin, for dinner.

Jerelyn no longer cooks for Sehun and the family. It disappoint Sehun a lot but he understands that he used to hurt Jerelyn and it was fine that Jerelyn would go out with other guys. However, he had not find out the truth between Jerelyn and Suho. The fact that she would get together with Suho was caused indirectly by him.

Jerelyn hang out with Xiumin for a few weeks and one day Xiumin disappeared and no longer contact Jerelyn. She had no idea what was going on. The day before Xiumin decided not to contact Jerelyn, both of them had a date and had fun. Yet, all of a sudden, Xiumin decided not to contact Jerelyn.

She was hurt. She had trusted him and that she thought Xiumin likes her and Elliot.

“Why… WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME?” Jerelyn screamed in her room in the middle of the night. Her screamed woke Elliot up. Elliot wanted to console his mum yet he had no idea how to.

He then went to the living room to pick up the house phone. He dialled in the number that he remembered – which was Suho’s number.

“Daddy. Mummy is crying. Can you come? I’m scared.” Elliot told Suho about it and Elliot knew the reason why Jerelyn was crying. To his surprise, Suho agreed to go over. Elliot then waited on the sofa for Suho’s arrival.

He was all alone in the living room and was able to hear Jerelyn’s wailing. He waited patiently by doing nothing and just swinging his legs.

“Ding dong~”

The moment he heard the doorbell, he rang towards the door and tried to reach out for the handle to open the door. After a little of struggle, due to his short little height, Elliot managed to open the door.

“Daddy!” Elliot immediately hugged Suho after seeing him. Suho smiled and he squat down to Elliot’s height.

“How are you my dear?” Suho asked as he Elliot’s head. That was when it strikes him that how long had he not visited his own son. Elliot told him everything that happened in school recently and how Jerelyn would look after Jaei on weekday and moving on to Jerelyn was dating to Xiumin.

Then Elliot remembered the reason he invited Suho over.

“Oh daddy. Mummy is in the room crying.” After closing the door, Elliot held onto Suho’s hand and pulled him into Jerelyn’s room.

“Mummy, daddy is here.” Elliot nudged Jerelyn and informed her that Suho was here. At first Jerelyn thought that Elliot was lying and totally ignored him.

“Elliot, go back to sleep. It’s late. Daddy will settle everything.” Suho patted Elliot’s head and gave him a kiss on his forehead before leaving the room. Suho then closed the door.

“What’s wrong with you? Why are you crying over such a useless guy?” Suho started reprimanded Jerelyn.

But Jerelyn totally ignore Suho and continued crying in silence. Then Suho walked over to Jerelyn’s side and tried to console her.

“You don’t understand at all!” Jerelyn tried to shake off his hands that was on her shoulder. It was a fact that Jerelyn had said. Suho had not truly love someone before and would not understand how she felt.

“Yes, I may not understand but I’m willing to be here to hear your thoughts. Just stop crying.” Suho had no choice but to raise his voice a little. Finally, Jerelyn stopped crying and realised that fact that Suho was here. The guy she got married to and for the 5 years of marriage, he did not even care about her. But what made him to come here? She had no idea.

The silence between them lasted really long. But both of them enjoyed that silence.
