''I'm home.'' Donghyuk stopped for a few seconds after entering the house he shared with his wife. There was no sound coming from anywhere. He was tired from work but he still had enough energy to worry for his wife. She didn't seem to be at home. Just to make sure, he walked in and slowly opened the doors he crossed, those being the living room, the kitchen and even the bathroom. Now, only the bedroom was left.

Sighing, he walked towards their bedroom, just thinking that all he wanted to do was lay down and have a nice night of sleep with her by his side. However, he was surprised when he opened the door to their bedroom. Yes, his wife was there but she wasn't alone. His eyes could see another figure, smaller than him and even smaller than his wife. He could swear it was another human being, he just didn't recognize it.

As he walked closer to the bed, a soft smile grew on his lips. His wife was asleep, cuddled into her comfortable arms (at least, according to Dongyuk) was a small girl; her hair was messed, probably because she had been turning while she was also sleeping. He sat on the bed, caressing the girl's head gently just to peek at his wife; the sight of her sleeping with a kid in her arms somehow made his heart beat faster. He did like kids after all. He forgot that his wife's cousin was sleeping over for the week since her mother was busy with something and had nobody else to leave her cousin with.

The male took a few minutes to watch both of the females sleeping, he was sleepy and tired but all of it vanished when he saw them, so comfortable and natural with the situation, it almost made him want to come home early to be part of this. He joined them after a few more minutes, sighing happily at how his arm was long enough to hold onto his wife as well.

The next morning, when his wife woke up, she noticed Donghyuk did come home but she wasn't expecting him to. She also noticed that he had stole her cousin away from her arms but she didn't complain. She only laughed, quietly so she wouldn't wake them up. There goes his love for kids.

She got up from the bed carefully and decided to make breakfast for the three of them, making sure to include her cousin's likings to the menu as there was no space for arguments in between the choices. As she was cooking, she sensed someone getting up and she wasn't surprised it was her husband, who was probably going to leave for work in a few minutes. 

''I didn't hear you coming in last night.'' the female hummed as she cooked breakfast. He wasn't surprised that she was aware of him being awake. Donghyuk hummed in responce as he was still sleepy; his hair was messed and that was the first thing his wife noticed as soon as she peeked at him. Chuckling, she aproached him and combed his hair with her fingers ''I guess I have to take care of two kids for the rest of the week, don't I?'' she laughed but the male only shared a soft smile as he was still sleepy. ''You can sleep a while more, I'll call you when breakfast is done.'' she suggested, watching the male straighten his back, hovering her height.

His arms wrapped around her; he seemed fully awake by now. ''I was almost jealous of the way you cuddled your cousin last night.'' the male commented, hearing his wife laugh at his silly comment. ''But I think we should have her more often.''

''She asked for you and since you didn't tuck her in, she was afraid to go to sleep, did you know that?'' the female chuckled, caressing her husband's cheek. The male widened his eyes, pointing his index finger at himself as he took one of his hands away from her waist. His wife chuckled, cupped his cheeks and pecked his lips ''Of course, who doesn't like Kim Donghyuk?'' she , glaring playfully.

On the other hand, he smiled at her comment and bumped his forehead on hers, sighing ''Good thing I love my wife, right?'' his lips pecked hers once he was done speaking. However, he pulled her into another kiss, just to pull away at a sudden thought. ''Your food may be burning'' he warned, whispering to her who widdened her eyes and ran back to the stove, leaving the male laughing.

''Uncle Hyuk!'' a small voice shouted happily; the kid ran towards Donghyuk who quickly picked her up and pecked her cheek, holding her in his arms. His wife watched the scene after she put the food away from the stove, smiling as she somehow pictured the same Donghyuk saw the night before. ''Uncle Hyuk, we made a surprise for you, a big surprise because it is really cool!'' the small girl started explaining, having Donghyuk's full attention, like it was his world and his life deppended on it.

His wife smiled, knowing that her cousin was probably going to spoil the surprise; she didn't mind. Donghyuk combed the little girl's hair with his fingers just like his wife did to him. The little girl went on ''And we spent a lot of time awake because we wanted to make it pretty but I didn't see the baby in the photos.'' she informed, sighing quietly. The word baby woke Donghyuk up from the small lovely world he was living in when he held his wife's cousin.

Confused, the male looked at his wife who was done setting the table and serving breakfast. She then looked back at the little girl, asking her what baby she was talking about and she looked over at her cousin with a troubled smile before answering his question, ignoring the fact she was the one breaking the news to Donghyuk. ''The baby eonnie has in her tummy. She said it is so small that I can't see it and the pictures are weird. It looks like...a shrimp.'' she continued.

Again, the male turned to look at his wife who smiled softly at him ''Surprise?'' she chuckled, noticing that this was enough confirmation for the male whose lips curved into a foolish smile; he was happy with this.

''Are you serious?'' he asked as he walked up to his wife who nodded her head slowly and reached for the supposed ''work'' her cousin and her were doing last night. His eyes read the messy letters that his wife cousin wrote, making him chuckle at how clumsy yet cute, it actually was. He set the girl down after he was done reading the news she broke out to him and he couldn't help but reach for the female's waist. Again, he bumped his forehead on hers and chuckled quietly ''Why do you always seem to know what I need?'' his wife chuckled, wrapping her arms around his neck to give him a tight hug, to which he answered right away, being careful with the baby. Her cousin joined in, hugging their legs as she wasn't able to reach for anything else.
