Chapter 36
Her ProtectorEveryone gathered around Lay's massive computer system that had around eight monitors. They watched in anticipation as Lay studied the usb Hana had given Luhan before shoving it into of the vacant USB ports. After couble checking his proxies and several security measures, he began typing away just as he had before. But to everyone's surprise, hacking past security was a lot easier. There weren't any traps popping up nor was Lay getting kicked out of the server every couple of minutes.
"Are you sure we're even in the right place?" Xiumin mused as his eyes danced across the screen at an alarming fast speed. "Seems a lot easier than last time."
"It's Hana's code that's pushing us through." JB muttered out, a bit miffed that Xiumin would think that they were hacking the wrong site. "She worked her off for years on that tiny usb. That thing is her pride and joy."
"Shouldn't we be worried about Lay hyung losing it?" Sehun asked innocently, "Lay hyung misplaces things quite often."
"Hey!" Lay barked before going back to typing across the screen.
"No." Shownu beamed. "Because Hana's code is only specific to one computer. Hers. She had to tweak it a bit for it to allow access for Lay's. If the usb doesn't recognize the computer, all it shows you is a bunch of Hana's old essay topics she wrote in university. Plus, a few music files. Nothing really out of the ordinary."
"Except maybe the pictures she used to take and send to us of her terrible cooking skills." Wonho snickered as Youngjae paled at the thought of the experiments from before.
Luhan could feel his heart constricting in an undesireable feeling. He knew he wasn't suppose to be feeling this way, but he couldn't stop himself. Hana was his in the beginning and Hana would remain his, and to hear these other boys talk about her so caring and lovingly made him sick to his stomach. He wouldn't be able to bear with himself if Hana chose one of them over him
