"What hurts? Don't scare me like this Bomi-yah!"

Pushing apart from Bomi, Eunji tried to get the slightly older girl to look up. However Bomi wouldn't raise her head and only continued crying with her face buried in her friend's chest. Feeling extremely helpless, Eunji could only provide comfort by rocking Bomi in a slow rhythemic motion and patting her on her back.

"I'm here Bomi-yah. I'll always be here beside you."

The sobbing turned into soft sniffles and soon no more noises could be heard from the crying girl. Deducing that Bomi had probably fallen asleep, Eunji shifted the person in her arms so that she could finally observe Bomi's features.

There were dark circles under her eyes which were swollen from crying. Streaks of tears were apparent on her cheeks and a slight frown could be seen on her forehead. Seeing such a pained Bomi brought tears to Eunji's eyes. As a lone tear fell from the corner of her eye, Eunji muttered a single sentence.

"Seeing you sad makes me sad too, Pabomi."

Things seemed to go back to normal after the night that Bomi broke down in Eunji's arms. Neither of the 93 line brought up the incident and Eunji wondered if Bomi even knew what she did. However being the mature and considerate person she is, Eunji never once questioned Bomi about it.
