Jung Eunji tilted her head to take a closer peek at Chorong whose eyes were currently sealed shut from some form of discomfort.

“Are you okay?”

Nodding despite the pain in her eyes, the older girl lied as she didn't want to worry anyone. Not believing her words, Eunji proceeded to pry Chorong’s hands away from rubbing those irritated orbs. Guiding her arms to her shoulders, the Busan native used her fingers to pinch open Chorong’s eyelids and blew gently at them in the hopes that the irritant would be removed. This warm air directed at her face was comforting and unwittingly, Chorong linked her fingers behind the other girl's neck and snuggled in against her team mate’s body.

Upon feeling the added pressure, Eunji halted in her act and became suddenly aware of their close proximity. Staring at her Unnie from such a near distance was something Eunji had never experienced and she was immediately taken aback by the sheer beauty of the female she was currently embracing.

The abrupt stop of the soft blowing and intense gaze that Eunji was giving her made Chorong self conscious and she too realized that their present position seemed rather intimate. Releasing her arms from around Eunji’s neck, Chorong stepped backwards in an awkward manner. 

“Th..thank.. you.”

Eunji knew that the appreciation Chorong had just uttered was due to her company upon discovering the older girl who had been quietly sobbing by herself during the wee hours of this cold night.  

Though her intentions had been innocent enough, Eunji found herself questioning the reason behind the enjoyment she derived from the time spent alone with her leader. Why did she feel her heart flutter whilst admiring the perfection that was Park Chorong? 

Feeling as though a thousand butterflies had exploded within her stomach wasn't something she experienced regularly. In fact, she only recalled it happening twice in her twenty four years of existence.

While Eunji was having this internal conversation with herself, Chorong too had a million thoughts racing through her mind. What was she thinking getting into such a compromising position with Eunji? To think that she had even initiated the act of looping her hands around the other’s sturdy shoulders. 

She must have been insane to engage in this sort of activity especially since she had just recently been determined to end things with Bomi. Heaving a silent sigh, Chorong figured that they had been out on the balcony for far too long and should definitely be headed back inside the dorm.

Calling out to her companion, she noticed that Eunji was visibly shaken out of a stupor. Wondering if she was having the same thoughts, Chorong found herself curious about what Eunji thought of their behaviour and more importantly, what the main vocal of Apink thought about her.

When the Red Velvet member finally arrived at the upscale establishment, she approached the bartender straightaway to enquire about Son Naeun’s whereabouts. She was later on brought to one of the private rooms where she found the singer sprawled on her back laying atop the leather sofa. 

Bending down to drape Naeun’s coat and purse over one arm, she then slid her hand beneath her upper body and lifted her into a sitting position. Slowly and carefully, she brought the wasted girl to her feet and helped her exit the private room.
