I looked in Jongin’s red glowing vampire eyes as he came near and I stopped every next movement abruptly. The way he looked at me scared me a bit - he looked hungry! I clinched my hands and gulped down my scared nerves. It’s for his own good. Do something good for Yoona unnie too!

He slowly leaned over and my heart beat rose up to a million. He hesitated and I knew that he recognized I was scared but I needed to be strong. For him and for Yoona as well. I didn’t want to feel like be the reason she will be sad over Jongin's behavior even he only wants to protect her.
I felt his teeth piercing my skin with a small pain. I shut my eyes until I saw white sparkles but to my surprise the pain was sustainable. I had to be strong.
He pushed me against the wall as he began to my blood more hungrily. Panic controlled my body but I tried to just softly pushing Jongin away.
I already felt slightly strange, like getting tired in seconds. “Jongin, please.” I said to stop his voracity for blood but he didn’t stop.
All of a sudden I had to think about the missing girls. The girls they found in Lost Planet. Empty blooded.

I pushed him with more strength away from me and finally he let go. With the second blink he stood in the corner of the room, teleported there just to get some space between us. “I’m sorry. I’m sorry. I wanted to stop earlier.” He ruffled his hair and let himself fall down on the ground, looking deeply depressed. I took out a tissue to press it against the two tiny holes on my neck. I need something to cover it. A scarf or something.

I sat on one of the tables and looked to Jongin. We both stood in silence for a while until my heart was beating normal again, which needed quiet a time.
“So they’re all dead? The girls who went missing?” he asked finally and I just nodded. I wasn’t surprised at all that he heard my thoughts again. “That’s crazy.” I nodded again but didn't look up. “Hyomi.”
Jongin stood in front of me and then placed himself next to me. His sharp eye teeth were still out put he didn’t look scary to me. He was my friend after all and now he needed me more than ever. I’m not in charge to call him a scary vampire now. "I'm not scared." I pretent and gave him a smile.
“Gomawo.” he whispered and I just shrugged my shoulders “Don’t say that. It sounded strange.” He ruffled my hair and aggreed “It’s all strange, right? By the way your thoughts are really loud. Like you took a megaphone and yelled directly in my mind. I’m glad you screamed. It was really annoying.” He grinned and I just pitched his forehead. For the first time my random thinking actually saved my life “Let's just quickly forget about this.”

Later we sat over a chess game and I lost another round "Checkmate!" he laughed triumphatic while I sighed and bite in the piece of pizza he just got some minutes ago. He could be the fastest fast food deliverer with that teleport power!
We had decided to stay a while longer in the room since his eyes were still red and I didn’t dare to walk the long way to the cafeteria with my dizzy mind and shaky legs.

I had told him shortly what had happened. About the ahjumma and the voice who called my name in the haunted house. About Nana and the field of dreams. About the powers from all of them and the book I found in the shop. It felt good to have finally somebody to tell all the things which didn't make any sense to me. I sighed. “And then there’s this.” I turned around and showed him the tattoo on my neck. I waited for any reaction but Jongin was silent. I turned around and he covered his eyes with his hands. “Jongin?” I asked in wonder and he glanced through one hand “Can’t you warn me before showing me your neck? Vampire feels, you know?” he pointed to his mouth jokingly and he grinned absurdly with those teeth. I threw my knight figure toward him “Can’t you be serious? Look now!” So he did and hold on his breath. “A tattoo? Hyomi!! All these years I thought about you so different and now-”
“Before you began to think the wrong way – I’m explaining. Kris said it’s a curse. It’s not a tattoo! It's like a bad sign.” I turned around to him again.
“He said something like someone is watching me with the help of this. Like I’m sending my information all the time to somebody unknown. And I’m really afraid because I can’t do anything against. Even Kris don't know what to do. That punk just said to wait.” We both looked up and around us like we searched for that person, who's watching me. “Who is watching you?”Jongin asked with dimmed voice but I couldn’t answer that question. “I don’t know.” I whispered back.
Like it would help. “But I think the same person who sent the vampires to kidnapped you for me in exchange.” His eyes grew big, I guess he didn't know it until now. “They wanted you? Hyomi are you silly to appear in that vampire house?” "SSHT!" I took the last piece of pizza and mumbled in it “There was no other option.”

Suddenly the school bell rang and we both looked up in shock. “Oh no, we’ll be late!” We sneaked out the room when he stopped me “Hyomi, your shirt.”
I looked down “Oh. Yes.” and rushed through the corridor while I fixed my shirt again and we went in class, all eyes on us. Chanyeol’s disappointed eyes rushed from Jongin to me and back. When I sat down next to him he made even bigger eyes  “Where were you guys? We waited for you two. I felt really bad to start eating without you but I was really hungry!” I made sure my hairs covered my neck and made some cute aegyo to him “I’m so sorry Chanyeollie. I remembered to give the books back to the library and it took quiet time.” without saying anything he turned away and I knew he was angry to me now. Another time I let him wait.

Chanyeol’s Pov.
I couldn’t believe how naive Hyomi thought I was. She had no books to give back, she was lying to me. I thrum on my paper and waited eagerly for school to end and planned to ask her again what really happened. When it finally rang, I followed Hyomi out of the class room. I wanted to ask her where she really went and why with Jongin and not with me. What's wrong? What is she hiding now?
“Hyomi wait a second!” I heard Yuri's voice and hid behind the lockers and peeked towards Hyomi who turned around whenYuri came up to her.
“Yuri, what is it? I’m in a hurry.” Yuri threw back her hair angrily “Oh yeah you better should run away before Yoona will find you. Crazy rumors are spreading.”
Yoona? What has she to do with this? I frowned because I smelled something fishy going on. “What? Y-Yoona?” I saw Hyomi’s face, which was already really pale today, only got even whiter. Yuri looked around and grabbed Hyomi's wrist to drag Hyomi behind the next wall. I quickly followed to hear what they are talking. I hate to eavesdrop but I was just too curious.

“Is it true? You and Jongin? Because if it is, I can imagine now why I should play your alibi. You two are meeting secretly, right? Hyomi, I can’t accept this! What kind of are you?” My jaw dropped and I was already to step out. Unbelievable. This was ridiculous. I looked around to Jongin who still stood in front of the classroom with Sehun. Jongin was strange this week indeed and Sehun even told me he didn’t meet with Yoona because of no reason...No way!
“W-what!? No! No never, Jongin is happy with Yoona and she is my unnie I would never….Who said something like this?” Hyomi’s voice sounded thin and shaky. Shaky like my hands but because I felt anger rising up my body. The more I thought about this…what if she was really meeting Jongin? But that couldn’t be.
I knew Hyomi was hiding something in front of us but...
No! Jongin would never dare. He knows about my feelings for Hyomi all the time. That I love her! That I’m jealous if even some other guys will even look at her. That I want to be the only one. How often Jongin himself tried to tell me over and over again to just confess. It can’t be. Hyomi, please tell me it’s not real.
