School Outing - Campfire
Behind Those Fake Masks (Indefinite Hiatus)
Narrator's pov:
"H-hey! Stop crawling on my back!" Jinki complained, Jisoo taking the advantage of being in the water where gravity was different to jump on Jinki's back.
Jisoo laughed, wrapping her arms around Jinki's neck.
He blushed slightly when he felt something soft on his back, knowing very well what that was.
Jinki shook his body abruptly, an attempt to make Jisoo fall in the water but in the end he lost his own balance and fell in the water together with her, both of them entering the river water with a loud splash.
Jisoo moved her arms and took in a sharp breath when she reached the surface again, coughing slightly. A few seconds later Jinki resurfaced as well, his brown locks covering his face like they were seaweed.
"You look ridiculous!" Jisoo laughed heartly, pointing at Jinki's face.
"Whose fault is it?" Jinki grumbled, spreading his legs a bit so he stood good just in case Jisoo would decide to try and push him in the water.
Unlike what he thought, Jisoo's hands reached for Jinki's face, her fingers pushing the hair out of his eyes, using the water to keep them behind his ears.
"Can you see something through your glasses?" Jisoo asked with a chuckle, brushing her own hair by going through it with her fingers, combing them in place.
"Of course I can." Jinki scoffed, using his fingers to wipe the glasses without taking them off.
They were too busy with their own business to hear other people murmer and whisper about them.
"Are they dating for real? They look like a couple."
"They played so well."
"They're so different from usual, are they daiting each other for real? Are the rumors true?"
Jisoo stretched her arms, high up in the air before entering the water again, letting her body float in the water leisurely.
"It's been awhile since I've enjoyed myself like this." Jisoo grinned, Jinki noticing that she was smiling more sincere than other times.
"Me too." Jinki muttered, nodding his head slightly before sitting down in the water, only half of his face above the water.
"Maybe being an outcast isn't such a bad thing." Jisoo commented, looking up in the sky to find a few white clouds, barely covering the strong sun.
"It depends." Jinki said before standing up, walking towards the shore.
"What, not staying in the water anymore?" Jisoo asked when she let her body sink in the water to stand up.
Jinki shook his head, his hands fixing his hair till they were covering more than half of his face again, getting out of the water completely drenched.
"Then I'll get out too." Jisoo quickly said, following Jinki quickly. "I don't want to stay here all alone."
As Jisoo got out of the water, people looked at her, even her ex friends that were judging her with their eyes. Unlike other times where Jisoo would have walked off coldly, she was skipping her way to Jinki, giving him a gentle hit on the shoulder before grabbing her towel, dryin most of the water off of her body.
"You look so relaxed." Jinki remarked, sitting on a stone, the light grey color turning dark because the water was making the stones change shades.
He was busy pulling his T-shirt away from his body, an attempt to make it dry quicker.
Jisoo's pov:
Ah... I can see his body... Since when did he had abs? No wait, why are his arms so muscled?
"W-what are you attempting to do?" I asked Jinki, who was almost pulling his T-shirt off of his body.
"Drying it, what else?" he asked with a raised eyebrows which made me throw my towel to him.
"Here."
"Thanks." Jinki said, grabbing the to
