Behind Those Fake Masks (Indefinite Hiatus)
Jisoo's pov:
Too close... He's too close!
I couldn't help but stare at Jinki, who was right above me, his face too near mine.
"Get away from me." I tried to hiss but it came out like a pathetic whimper.
He had to let my words sink in for what seemed like hours before he finally moved and tried to push himself away from me, careful to not slip again or hurt himself with the broken eggshells on the floor.
He cleared his throat when he finally managed to get up, his hands supporting himself on the counter, just to be sure to not slip on the mess in his kitchen.
I bit my lips, trying to shake everything away, whimeprs of annoyance escaping me when I looked at myself.
Covered in flour, eggs, shells, salt and water.
I looked like Cruella de Ville when she got owned by those puppies in the cake baking factory.
One word?
Horrible.
Desperately to get myself clean, I tried to wipe everything off of me with the kitchen towels on the counter, not even realizing that Jinki was looking at me.
"You look like you fell in a large bowl of batter." he chuckled, catching my attention. I returned a glare to him, taking another kitchen towel.
"You don't look too good yourself?" I scoffed which made him laugh and hum in agreement.
"I guess I must look just like you right now?" he shrugged, his lips curled up in an amused smile, one that I don't remember seeing on him.
It was then when I looked closer at him, just to see how bad he really looked like. Yes, he looked like a mess but it was different from his image as the school's nerd. So very different...
Jinki snapped his figners, trying to get my attention and when I got back to reality, he was already looking at me with raised eyebrows.
"What?" I asked in a huff, showing him that I wasn't content with how I looked like.
"Go take a shower." he looked up, his index finger pointing to the ceiling. You know where everything is." he nodded, not bothering himself to explain something that didn't needed to.
I gave him a nod and tried to at least clean my feet so that the other places in this house wouldn't look like a massive cake exploded.
The warm water felt great as well as all that flour and raw eggs got washed off of my body, making me feel way less sticky and dirty.
Because I didn't had my own washing stuff with me, I had to use his, pouring a little bit of shampoo on my hand.
Immediately, the scent expanded, making me realize that this was the scent.
His scent.
So that sweet floral scent he always had hanging around him, even though faint, was from his shampoo...?
I stared at the blue colored liquid soap.
It was a nice scent.
My hair will smell good because of this.
I nodded to
