Behind Those Fake Masks (Indefinite Hiatus)
Jinki's pov:
My right eye twitched as my annoyance started to grow.
The popular girl, Hwang Jisoo, also known as my partner for this stupid literature assignement was noly busy with her phone while I was trying to find books to make references at.
What a bother...
If you're going to be on your phone anyways, why even come do it here in the library...?
You could do it just as well at home... why bother doing it here, in front of me when I'm here searching and doing everything?
"Jisoo...," I started, the popular girl lifting her eyes up and giving me a confused expression. "Are you going to keep texting...?"
She raised an eyebrow, no answer given to me until a small and soft laughter escaped her, putting the phone away.
"Sorry." she shrugged and looked away again, the windows and the people walking around more interesting than the assignment we had to do.
"You can leave, you know..."
"Really?" Jisoo said quickly, grabbing her bag and standing up. "See you tomorrow then, bye!" she smiled and left me, my hand in the air as I closed my opened mouth again.
"But I would like it if you would help me..." I muttered with a frown, looking at the empty spot in front of me.
Well... That wasn't what I wanted to happen... Couldn't she at least wait till I had finished talking?
I sighed and laid my hand on the palm of my hand, my elbow being supported by the table under me. My eyes stared boredly at the books, my other hand pushing it away as I sighed again.
I don't like this... Let alone an assignement for more than one, I rather work alone, without all the trouble of having a partner that barely or doesn't do a thing.
Time was passing slow and seeing students coming and going wasn't helping either. Looking through books to get information and to make a reference to wasn't so easy and I was slowly getting more and more annoyed with this as the assignement was consuming all my time.
"Student? The library is going to close for today."
I looked up and gave the librarian an apologetic smile, quickly gathering my stuff and putting the books back to their places on the bookshelves.
"Good evening." I bowed my head and turned around to leave the school, the dark getting night welcoming me as the sun was almost gone, the sky having an orange and pinkish color.
I ruffled my hair with my both hands, making them only messier than they already were and walked to the bus stop.
The bus trip back home wasn't comfortable and peaceful like I wanted as loud students from other schools were making a russ.
"Just confess to her?!"
"No! I don't want to!"
Please... It's not like those friends are somewhere on the other side of the buss, you're sitting next to each other... You do
