Picnic
Behind Those Fake Masks (Indefinite Hiatus)
Jisoo's pov:
Loving food...isn't a sin.
Without even wanting to, I smiled. My lips were itching so they curled up.
Jinki... Who ever thought he would say something like this...? It genuinly made me happy that he said those words. It made me feel assured and somehow realise that he actually spoke the truth.
What's wrong with loving food? Furthermore, what's wrong with loving to eat? Nothing...right? Since we need feed, we need to eat to survive.
I stared at the packed food boxed and nodded content.
Everything was done and packed and all that had to happen now, was to go to a parc and eat it.
"Can you wake up Sora?" I asked, Jinki walking out of the kitchen without saying much.
I double checked everything to see if we brought everything, eating utensils, napkins, wet tissues, plastic plates...
"Are we going to the park, right now?" Sora asked, rubbing her eyes while taking in the different scents in the kitchen. "It smells so good."
I nodded.
"Go wash your face. I'll help you with your hair." I said and without even really knowing why, Sora beamed happily, rushing upstairs to the bathroom.
Not even one minute later, Sora stood in front of me again, a comb in her hands, along with some hairties. Her eyes were smiling in crescent moons while she shook her little body left and right.
She looked so cute doing that, that a chuckle escaped me.
"Come here." I said, reaching for her and the comb. "You have pretty long hair, dont' you?" I asked, combing her black soft locks carefully, afraid that if I did it too rushed, it would hurt her.
Taking half of her hair, I pulled it up and started to braid it.
"If it hurts, just tell me, okay?"
Sora hummed, staying still while I continued to braid half of her hair. When I was done, Sora gave me a hairtie to secure it.
"Done." I smiled, fixing her fringe slightly so that it looked better.
"I'm surprised you didn't make her look like you." Jinki muttered, which made me quite surprised. I didn't expect him to say something like that, but then I almost facepalmed myself.
Why wouldn't he say something like that?
He had always been like this and I almost forgot, because we'e not attending school these days, that he's right to ask something like this. After all... I was... I am one of the popular girls in school.
"She's a child." I retorted.
Jinki just hummed, nodding his head.
Guess I'm getting a little too comfortable now. I should pay more attention to what I do and say in front of this guy or else my image is going to be shattered.
My thoughts were filled with Jinki's words and even when we arrived in the park, my mind was somewhere else.
"Unnie?"
I snapped out of my thoughts and looked down, finding Sora looking at me quizically.
Shaking my head lightly, I smiled softly at her.
"I'll set everything, why don't you play with Jinki oppa first?"
Sora nodded, running to Jinki who secretly glanced at
