It was Jaejoong’s first day of living as poor. He lived just at the room beside where I was staying. He said it was better that way. He didn’t have much appliances and things, just enough for a poor guy living alone. He didn’t also bring too much money and credit cards.

I heard a knock in my door. I opened it and saw him smiling at me.

“I’m done unpacking. So, what should we do now?” he asked.
“We’re going to a nearby store. We need to buy things you need,” I said and locked my door. I told him to get extra money for buying stuffs he would need.

We got a basket and proceed in buying the things he needed.

“What’s that?” he asked upon seeing me getting instant noodles.

“Instant noodles,” I said, matter-of-factly.
“I know but…”

“This is what you need. These are the only things you can buy with your money,” I said and he looked uncertain. “Why? You want to give up now?” I challenged him. He quickly shook his head.

“Of course not. As I said, these will be my food every day,” he said and got more instant noodles. I shook my head, smiling. We also bought foods in can. After buying the things he needed, we walked back home. But as we passed by a small restaurant, we bought foods for lunch.

“It doesn’t mean that even though we bought instant noodles and foods in can, those will be your food every day. You can eat those every now and then but not every day, it will be bad for your health,” I explained, seeing the confusion on his face when we bought foods in the restaurant. He nodded.
As I was going inside my apartment, he stopped me. I looked at him.

“This is my first day here, why don’t we eat together?” he asked and I thought for a while. I shrugged my shoulders and we ate inside my apartment after he put his things inside his apartment.

“So, what should we do next?” he asked as we were eating.
“We’ll find jobs later.”

“What kind of jobs?”

“Anything as long as we can earn money.”

After we ate, we rest for a while before going out again to find jobs. Yoona’s parents knew that I would find part-time jobs today so Jiyeon and Yoona would take care of the coffee shop when I was not there.

This was not the first time I find part-time jobs so it became easy for us to find different jobs. Luckily, we were both hired by my past bosses.

“So, in the morning, we will deliver newspapers to houses. After that, we will work in ‘Heaven’ café. In the afternoon until night, we will work at the restaurant. And lastly, from night to midnight, we will work at the gasoline station. Got it?” I looked at him after I said our schedule from Monday to Saturday.

“Are you serious?”

“Of course. We were already hired a while ago, right?”
“We can do all of that?”

“Of course. I did those things before so I know you can do it, too. Unless, you already want to give up,” I said again, challenging him.

“Of course I can do it!”

“It’s fine then. We’ll start tomorrow so wake up early, okay?”

He nodded lazily. I smirked.

I couldn’t wait for tomorrow.

JAEJOONG’S POV

I couldn’t believe this! I was really going to do all of this? I haven’t even worked a single job, for Pete’s sake. And now I was going to work in four, may I repeat that, FOUR ing jobs suddenly! I sighed.

She was really going to make things hard for me. I couldn’t back down now. I already started this and I wouldn’t back down easily.

hi! i know it's still short. well, the reason I haven't updated for days is bcuz I am still making a longer update. This chapter should be part of it but i think it's better if i'll just separate this from that chapter I am making. I don't know when I can post again another chapter bcuz I'm not feeling well, hope that's fine with u, guys... I just rushed to post this chapter, hehe...
