Thirty Six – Incomplete

On the road, Jungsoo kept running and running until he got in the bus. He left his car and keys in the mansion. He wasn’t in the shape of driving right now. Everything hurts and he’s drowning in pain. His eyes were not focusing on anything—it was blurred with his tears.

He just ended everything he had with Jongin. He never felt so incomplete in his life.

It was only a fifteen minute ride to the place he knew that would offer him a shoulder to cry on. He hopped out of the bus, not minding the greeting of the guards and receptionist as he made his way to the elevator of the condominium building.

He tapped his foot impatiently as the lift took him to the 25th floor. He hung his head low, not wanting anyone to see his bloodshot eyes—not that there were so many people at this hour. Once the elevator made a familiar ding he went out of the lift and ran to the last door of the hallway.

With shaking hands he continuously rang the doorbell, head still hanging low while his free hand was shoving his knuckles in his mouth. A few minutes passed and the door opened—

“D.O what are you—“

He didn’t give his best friend time to finish himself because he already threw himself on the model, sobbing on his shoulders as his whole body shook.

Luhan was awakened by a series chiming of the doorbell. He blinked and looked at the digital clock on the night stand—it was freaking midnight. Who would come to him this late?

Even so he dragged himself up after untangling himself from his lover. Making his way to the door he pushed a button to see who was disturbing his sleep. His droopy eyes snapped open when he saw a familiar figure—

His best friend D.O—

Without hesitation he opened the door but before he could ask why the hell he was here, D.O already threw himself at him and started crying. He closed the door as he rubbed his friend’s back and let the other cry himself out. However he turned the heater low to let the other breathe. He was perspiring despite of the cold temperature outside the condominium.

D.O continued crying on his friends shoulder, clutching Luhan’s night robe. “D.O what’s wrong? Calm down please… you know crying would make you breathing uneven—“

“I-I broke up with Jongin Lu… I broke up with him—“

“W-wait what?”

“I- I knew he didn’t love me in the first place but I kept on insisting on myself that he might have felt a little attraction to me—I – I was wrong—it was always Kyungsoo.” He cried, muffling his voice in Luhan’s neck.

“Jungsoo-ah, look you need to calm down—“

“What should I do? Lu? I don’t have him anymore—in fact—I never have him in the first place. It ing hurts…” he whimpered. “He’s all that I have… and now I lost him…”

“I am here Jungsoo don’t say that. Hush please? I don’t want you having another attack right now.”

Luhan took the twin in the room where Sehun was, the younger just woke up and offered the bed to the hyperventilating twin. Sehun ran to the kitchen and took a bowl of warm water and towel and went back to Luhan
