Twelve – Feelings and Mysteries

“No way, I’m not going in there D.O”

“Don’t be such a kill joy I won’t let you fall.”

“I will fall! I never had such a good balance with my body!”

“Hold my hand! Come on you’re already wearing your skates!”

Jongin grunted and grabbed D.O’s hands before stepping into the ice. Yes, D.O took him in Ice skating in the ground floor of the mall. There were a lot of people there, some where children and he felt so ashamed that those kids can skate very well while could barely stand with the blade under the shoe.

D.O kept chuckling though, a scared Jongin? A very rare scene to see. Jongin held his hands tight he thought his bones would crush but he didn’t mind. He won’t let him fall. He slowly slid backwards, guiding Jongin to the centre.

“Just like that, you’re doing good, just slide your feet. Don’t think about falling. You’ll be able to balance yourself in no time.”

“Don’t you dare let go of my hand if I fall I’m going to kill you!” D.O laughed and nodded, “I won’t trust me.” You tried to sound threatening when you’re about to cry. How cute.

They kept on sliding on the ice and Jongin was learning rather fast but the younger still refused to let go of his hand. After a few more minutes, Jongin could slide faster now and D.O slowly slides his hands off of Jongin’s.

“Hyung don’t let me go!” Jongin begged.

“Did you just call me hyung?” D.O chuckled and slide backwards as Jongin slide forward to him.

“You’re older right? Of course I would call you hyung. Yah! I said don’t go!”

“You won’t learn to skate on your own if I keep your hand. If you fall I’d catch you!”

Okay did just sound a little cheesy? D.O shrugged the thought and let go of Jongin’s hands. The younger struggled at first but he was shocked himself when he started skating. “I’m ice skating hyung!” he laughed as his feet slide on the ice and felt the cool air on his face.

D.O watched him and smiled, “I told you you’ll love this!”

Jongin skated towards him but was a little fast. Oh no, he would bump on him! “Jongin stop you’re too fast you—“

It was too late, Jongin collided on him and their bodies hit the ice floor. Jongin was on top, D.O grunted as the impact was on him. Jongin pulled himself up and saw that D.O’s glasses shattered on the ground. “I’m sorry hyung!”

“It’s okay… uh… let’s get up, people would think we’re doing something inappropriate.” He chuckled.

He was even more beautiful without those glasses. He may really look like Kyungsoo, but the air around him was not innocent and angelic like his brother—but it was playful and a little mischievous
