Name: Shin Sori

Personality: Sori isn’t big on touching – hugs, kisses, physical contact in general. She’s also not big on sugar coating things and lies/half-truths. She’s rather upfront about things when asked and doesn’t beat around the bush. She’s confident in her powers and can sometimes be a little cocky about it. When it comes to personal things, she tends to shut people out. Even the people closest to her don’t know some things about her past. Most of the time, she’d pretty stone faced (blank expression), so when she starts to show a lot of emotion people know she’s very upset/happy/sad/etc.

Name: Cha Hakyeon – aka N

Age: 18

Personality: normally very happy and cheerful. He warms up to people quickly, but is a bit shy around them at first. He’s not good with scary things like ghosts and hunted houses making him all the more reluctant to accept his gift. His loyalty for his friends know no bounds and he’ll do anything in his power to make sure that they’re safe. This sometimes caused them to worry becuase he'll put their safety before his own. He always does his best to cheer his friends up when they're upset.

Name: Kim Wonsik – aka Ravi

Age: 16

Personality: Ravi is friendly like N, but not as loud. He’s a big fan of art (graffiti being his specialty) and rap. Of all the boys, he was one of the only ones who believed that the things that marked them ‘problem kids’ were something more than acting out. While he’s pretty accepting of what he is, changing forms scares him a little bit. He's pretty fearless, so he tends to charge into fights before thinking. This often worries his friends.

Name: Xi Luhan

Age: 18

Type: fae (fairy)

Gift(s): empath, telekinesis

Personality: Luhan is normally very quiet and soft spoken, so he doesn’t talk a lot to people he doesn’t know. He’s also pretty bitter about his relationship with his dad and stepmom. Luhan likes to make his friends feel better, so he often uses his powers on them. Luhan gets really upset when called a fairy, preferring the word ‘fae.’ He’s not great at controlling his anger when people say or do things that he finds offensive towards his friends. His bond with Sori is often one of gossip for other students because they’re so close – no one outside their group of friends knows if they’re dating or not

Name: Park Minji

Age: 28

Type: nymph - water

Gift(s): water manipulation, dreamscaping, ghost whisperer

Personality: a cheerful, sensitive soul most of the time, but she’s got one heck of a temper when it concerns the welfare of her students. She often buts heads with the ISBIP (International Supernatural Burrow of Investigation and Protection) because they like to recruit young supernaturals from her school and she wants to protect her students. Always willing to help her students with whatever they need help with.

Name: Kim Jihu

Age: 34

Type: werewolf

Personality: often described at cold and calculating, Jihu has a soft spot for the kids of Dark Lake Academy and the kids who attend. It’s just that he hides that soft spot under a mask of cold indifference. The only ones who know about this soft spot are Sori, Kris Hyuna, and Yuri. Jihu’s loyalty to ISBIP can be a bit of a problem as he’s not always willing to admit when ISBIP is wrong. At the same time, he will admit that the agency has its share of problems.

Name: Jung Taekwoon – aka Leo

Age:18

Type: nightmare

Gift(s): horse form, able to enter dreams of other and cause either nightmares or good dreams

Personality: Leo is very quiet and reserved. While he might not show it, he cares about his friends a lot and will put himself in harm’s way to protect them. He’s a bit in denial that he’s a supernatural at first, but slowly starts to warm up to the idea with the help of his friends, both new and old.

Name: Lee Jaehwan – aka Ken

Age: 17

Type: witch/warlock

Gift(s): spell casting

Personality: Ken is loud and loves to make people laugh. While he likes making everyone laugh, he likes it best when he can make his friends laugh (especially Leo ‘cuz Leo doesn’t smile a lot). Of all the group, Ken accepts his supernatural status the best. He might not be too skilled in controling his magic, but he loves to learn new spells and put them to use.

Name: Lee Hongbin

Age: 16

Type: fae (fairy)

Gift(s): healing, empath

Personality: Hongbin cares a lot about Hyuk and does anything he can to help protect him. He’d do the same or his hyungs, but he’s closer to Hyuk (probably ‘cuz they’ve known each other the longest). Hongbin hates it when people only take his looks into account and not his talent (he gets really quiet when that happens). He’s confident in his empath powers, but not his healing powers. he's scared to death that theyll fail him when he really needs them.

Name: Han Sanghyuk – aka Hyuk

Age: 15

Type: werewolf

Gift(s): strength, speed, hearing, wolf form (on full moons)

Personality: Hyuk is sweet and kind of shy. He doesn’t scare easily and easily accepts his werewolf blood line. He’s close to all his hyungs, but his closets to Hongbin – because he’s known him the longest. Hyuk’s very proud of his werewolf status because it makes it easy for him to protect his hyungs like they’ve always protected him. for a while he had to hide what he was from everyone, even his hyungs, out of fear of being regected. coming to Dark Lake helped him to forget that fear, but he feels bad that he didn't tell his hyungs sooner.

Name: Oh Sehun

Age: 16

Type: necromancer

Gift(s): ghost whisperer, able to raise the dead

Personality: Sehun isn’t a big talker unless it’s with the dead. Because of the living not being comfortable around him, Sehun’s gotten really comfortable with ghosts who never have a problem with him. However, Sehun’s close with Luhan, Sori, and his roommates because they always accepted him. He can be a bit of a spoiled brat at times, slipping into informal speech when he’s in a bad mood. He tends to space out, but that’s mostly because he’s talking to a ghost.

Name: Kim Jongdae and Jongin – aka Chen and Kai

Age: 18 and 16

Type: werewolves

Gift(s): strength, speed, hearing, wolf form (on full moons)

Personality:  Chen holds a bit of resentment for his father over getting remarried so quickly after his mother's death, but he doesn’t let that feeling transfer into his relationship with Kai. Chen also doesn’t resent his stepmother as she’s always tried to be a good mother to him while still paying homage to his birth mother. Kai doesn’t share the same resentment for their father, but he doesn’t care for the man all that much either. While they try to maintain loyalty to the other werewolves at school (their pack), they spend more time with their non-werewolf friends.

Name: Kim Minseok, Do Kyungsoo, and Huang Zitao – aka Xiumin, D.O, and Tao

Age: 18, 16, 16

Type: vampires

Gift(s): drinking blood, long life, quick healing, speed, hearing, sence of smell, strength

Personality: Xiumin and Tao are the most charismatic of the three and they’re also very playful. D.O, in contrast, is more quiet and reserved. While Xiumin and Tao don’t mind attention, D.O does his best to avoid it and stay under the radar. Despite these differences, they all share the same love-hate relationship to drinking blood; they need to drink it to stay alive, but they hate that they need to get it from humans.

Name: Zhang Yixing – aka Lay

Age: 18

Type: shape shifter

Personality: most of the time, Lay’s quite. He’s also caught day dreaming a lot, something that gets him into trouble sometimes with his teachers. He’s not really good with meeting new people, but he warms up to them pretty quickly. Like Sori, he can be confident to the point of cocky when it comes to his powers and his control over them.

Name: Byun Baekhyun and Park Chanyeol

Age: 17 (both)

Type: fallen

Gift(s): flight, wings, light and dark based magic

Personality: both have similar personalities; both are cheerful, charismatic, and the mood makers of the group. Both are also protective of Lina, but Chanyeol even more so because she’s so shy and is his adopted sister. While open about most things, they only share their more personal secrets with each other. For example, Baekhyun is the only one who knows about Chanyeol’s crush on Lina.

Name: Wu Yifan and Kim Joonmyun – aka Kris and Suho

Age: 18 (both)

Type: dragons

Gift(s): flight, dragon form, strength, fire manipulation (Kris), water manipulation (Suho)

Personality: Suho is gentler of the pair while Kris can be a bit harsher. The pair serve as the mother and father of their group of friends and are born leaders. Between the two, Kris is a lot less upfront about what he does when the ISBIP sends them out on missions. In contrast, Suho shares as much as he can without giving away classified information. Kris also doesn’t like taking about his past in th ISBIP's foster care system, shutting down all attempts to talk about it. Suho doesn't mind talking about his childhood at all, shareing his past with anyone who asks

Name: Yoo Hyojung and Hyojoo

Age: 17 and 16

Type: dragons

Gift(s): flight, dragon form, strength

Personality: Hyojung is loud and opinionated. Everyone knows exactly where she stands on a subject because she doesn’t shut up until they know. Hyojoo is just as loud, but she doesn’t go on and on about her opinions. Instead, she goes on and on about the things she likes (ie. Music, movies, cute boys). Hyojoo tends to follow her older sister’s lead and Hyojung likes to be in charge. Neither one are fans of Sori, Kris, Hyuna, and Yuri and will insult the four whenever they have the chance. Some of this hate transfers over to those who befreind the four.

Name: Lee Heesun

Age: 18

Type: werewolf

Personality: Heesun isn’t into shows of emotion (smiles sure, but crying? heck no). Her cold exterior and bluntness don’t sit well with everyone, so many other student regard her as a . Heesun is very protective of her friends and will lay her life on the line for them at a moment’s notice. she's not very well versed in werewolf culture and often gets into fights with her parents because of this. after these fights, she's always in a veyr bad mood so people tend to avoid her for a few days after the fight happens.

Name: Kim Lina

Age: 18

Type: fallen

Gift(s): flight, wings, light and dark based magic

Personality: Lina is shy and often doubts her powers. This is partly caused by her birth family’s rejection of her and partly because she tends to mess up her landings and her spells are weak. She loves her adopted brother a lot and envies how charismatic he is. She loves her roommates a lot, but her quiet and soft spoken nature creates a bit of tension every so often between her and Heesun.

Name: Jung Taeyang

Age: 15

Type: vampire

Gift(s): drinking blood, long life, quick healing, speed, hearing, sence of smell, strength

Personality: he likes to consider himself quite the badass. Taeyang isn’t a pushover and can totally hold his own in a fight. While he didn’t believe the whole ‘you’re a vampire, Taeyang’ thing at first, he quickly warmed up to the idea. He’s loves learning about his vampire powers and heritage, embracing it more than any human customs he learned growing up.

Name: Lee Taeyeon

Age: 13

Type: nymph

Gift(s): plant manipulation

Personality: Taeyeon is normally very sweet and gentle. However her attachment to nature can cause her to snap and get really aggressive. Word to the wise, never litter when she’s around. You will get your kicked by this tiny terror and it will hurt. A lot. She’s also a bit of a hopeless romantic, going on and on about ‘love connections’ and ‘soul mates.’

Name: Kim Sooyoung

Age: 13

Type: witch

Gift(s): spell casting, foresight

Personality: Sooyoung is cheerful and energetic. She also talks a lot. While this is a bit annoying at first, people she befriends either grow used to it or avoid her. most grow used to it. Sooyoung can be a bit of an airhead, asking stupid questions that make people wonder ‘how stupid are you,’ but she’s actually quite brilliant. Others compare it to ‘really smart but annoying’ tv/movies characters.  She hero worships/fangirls over Sori a lot because she wants to be super strong and cool like the older girl. She changes her hair colour a lot, trying to make it represent her individuality (or something like that).

Name: Jessica Jung and Krystal Jung

Age: 18 and 16

Personality: while most of the school thinks the Jung sisters cold and emotionless, the truth is that they really do care a lot. Krystal will often pull aegyo on her sister and cousin (Sori) to get herself out of trouble or to get them to buy her stuff – mostly food or candy. Neither are afraid to stand up for each other, Sori, or their friends. Just like Sori, Jessica can be very blunt (must run in the family).

Name: Kim Hyoyeon

Age: 18

Personality: Hyoyeon‘s personality is very much so shaped from her past experiences. Like her friend Jessica, she’s very blunt and “calls them as she sees them.” her tolerance for illegal supernatural gangs and their members is low. She’s very determined. Considering the hard times she’s gone through, she has a hard time sympathising with some students who haven’t gone through such hard trials and still complain.

Name: Kwon Yuri

Age: 17

Type: fae

Gift(s): empath, telepath

Personality: She’s a very quirky girl. She’s not afraid to do things that most people would find embarrassing. She’s also got a kind heart and doesn’t shy away from offering a helping hand to those who need it. When her gifts get involved, however, she does a total 180 and becomes very shy. While most can deal with her empath abilities, few can handle the thought of her always being able to hear their thoughts so she doesn’t like sharing that part of herself with people. While she’s close with and loyal to the friends she’s made at Dark Lake, her number one loyalty is to Sori, Kris, and Hyuna – the friends who are also her family.

Name: Moon Hyunah – aka Hyuna

Age: 18

Type: fae

Gift(s): empath, animal communication

Personality: Hyuna is the joker between herself, Sori, Kris, and Yuri. While Sori and Kris are cold and blunt, she’s the one with a bright smile and a prank in the works. That isn’t to say she wasn’t affected by her past, she just doesn’t let her pain show like they do. Hyuna loves animals and often sneaks them into her dorm room, something that occasionally annoys her other roommates. She likes to make Sori and Kris smile, so she does everything in her power to make that happen.
