After a while playing volleyball, all of them were already exhausted. They decided to just sit down and rest some.

''Do you like Ami?'' Yumi asked Minho out of the blue.

Minho shrugged. ''I'm not even sure anymore...'' He said and then heaved a sigh. ''What about you? Do you like Jaejoong?''

Yumi shrugged too. ''I guess I do, but...he's already with Ami.''

Minho nodded, understanding what she meant.

They spoke for a few hours more and at last, Minho asked Yumi if she would like to go have dinner with him. Yumi was surprised, it's been a while since a guy asked her out. She gladly nodded.

''That was delicious!'' Minho grinned as he was now walking in the beach with Yumi.

Yumi chuckled and nodded. ''Well it was a buffet.''

Minho laughed too and then turned to look at Yumi. ''You're getting graduated this year, right?'' He asked.

Yumi nodded and heaved a sigh. ''Yeah. I'm really gonna miss being a high school girl.''

There was a brief moment of silence before Yumi spoke again.

''Minho...I know we don't actually know each other but, would you like to be my prom date?'' Yumi asked. She felt kinda embarrassed. She always imagined the guy to be asking her.

Minho was surprised by that question. ''Mwo?''

Yumi's cheeks flushed pink, thinking that she was going to be rejected by Minho.

''You really want to go with me?'' Minho asked.

Yumi turned to look somewhere else, at the ocean and nodded. ''Yeah. We're friends now?'' She kinda asked.

Minho chuckled and nodded even though Yumi wasn't looking at him. ''Sure.''

''Mwo? Jinjja?'' Yumi asked surprised. Minho chuckled again.

''Why so surprised? Weren't you the one who asked me?''

Yumi chuckled quietly and nodded. ''Yeah. Thanks Minho.''

-- Meanwhile --

''Do you like it?'' Jaejoong asked you with a smile. He had cooked dinner for you.

''Do I have to tell you how good your food is?'' You asked and kept eating.

Jaejoong chuckled and started to eat too.

When the two of you were done eating, you went to your living room to watch a movie.

''Ami?'' Jaejoong asked.

''Hmm?'' You asked while looking at the screen of your TV.

''Would you go to prom with me?'' He asked.

You turned to look at him. He was a senior and a couple of months after this summer break he was going to be celebrating his prom dance.

You smiled and moved closer to him.

''Sure,'' you said and then continued watching the movie.

Jaejoong smiled too.

''Well, it's not as though you had someone else to ask.'' You then said.

Jaejoong rolled his eyes. ''You see? Ruining another moment!''

You laughed. He then chuckled too and made you look up at him.

''But you're right. You're my girlfriend, and I wouldn't love to bring someone else.'' He said.

You pulled up and kissed him.

''Jagiya,'' Jaejoong said after a moment.

''Yes?'' You asked.

''Saranghae,'' he whispered in your ear.

''Nado saranghae, oppa.''

Yeah, not a good chappie but it had to be written for the coming chapters.
